I have another.

It really irks me that there are some people on this board who have zero respect for opinions other than theirs. Just because we may not share the same views doesn't mean either of us is stupid, we just think differently.

i know, puppies and rainbows, but seriously some of the replies i see make me never want to participate in some discussions. not because i can't back up my opinion, but because i'd rather debate issues than argue and name call.

not calling out anyone in particular or a particular subject, just a general thought.

    Okay - I confess that I have deeply held beliefs and principles and used to love to talk about them and debate, etc. Now I am guilty of reading knee jerk jingoism (by any side of any issue) and just headdesking it and clicking on the next post. I'll start to frame an answer - and then just shrug. Yay! I've finally been worn down into passive acceptance!
