Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Uh oh. WWYD if your mams leaked on your bed?

I'm sure this isn't that out of the ordinary for some of you.... my boobies leaked through my pads last night and onto the bed. Obviously I am washing the sheets, but should I do anything to my mattress?

It seems like milk = icky smell when it gets old or something. IDK if this applies to BM. God I hope not. Although... I hate that mattress. ;)

TIA!

  • Oh god, I don't know what to tell you. I leak everywhere. I just wash everything I can.

  • I just washed my sheets and mattress pad when it happens to me.
  • We have a mattress pad that I wash 2x a month- so nothing actually soaks to the mattress.

  • This happens constantly for me.  Or I leak while nursing in bed. Just wash wash wash.

  • My sister (she knew from her own experience, lol) gave me a waterproof liner thing to put under the sheets for this very problem.  Thank goodness, since I've leaked at night several times.  Maybe look for one of these?  It's super thin and not plastic-y, so you can't even tell it's there.

  • I wash the sheets and blot the mattress w/ a wet cloth and then I spray w/ fabreeze.
