pee'ing through diapers???

My son, 3 nights ago, started pee'ing out the top of his diaper. He is 12 lbs and is wearing swaddlers siz 2. It only happens at night because he is sleeping 4+ hours at a time, most nights 6 hours. Any tricks, tips or ideas that can help? I don't want to wake him up and change him because he won't go back down, but I feel like I am neglecting him and a bad mom.

    The only time DS pees out diapers is when they don't fit anymore.

    Have you tried getting a different brand? I have found Pampers to be a little smaller than Huggies. Try a #2 Huggies.

    DS started doing this as well around the new year, we went up to the next size for nights. He has not peed through one diaper since. DS is around 15-16 lbs and is in size 4 luvs at night. So the suggested sizes on the packages are just that suggestions. He will be moving up to size 4's full time when we finish out the remaining 20-25 left in 3's.

    The only time DS would pee out the TOP of his diaper is when we didn't point his penis down.  Can you maybe try a different brand? Or a bigger size?

    I found that Pampers work much better for boys since they are a longer diaper.  My little man is 3 1/2 months @ 15 lbs and he is already in size 3's and will most likely moving to size 4's in a couple of weeks.
