i do, but i will probably take it down once he starts moving in there and get a breathable one. he's so tiny in there right now that i don't see how it matters.
We don't. A few times, DS has been able to wiggle his head over to the side of the crib. I always worry that he's hurt himself when I see his little head over there, but I think I'd worry more if it meant his face was against the bumper.
I used one for a while at first, but changed it out for a breathable one around 2 months when she started moving around a little. Made me feel much better!

I do, but I should clarify that DD sleeps in her PNP in our room at night. I want to transition her to her nursery when she's 6 months+ when the risk of SIDS is reduced. That's for many reasons, though, not just because she has a bumper in her bed.
We also use the breathable bumper. DS is on the move and was sticking his legs in between the rails (or whatever they're called). I got nervous he was going to stick his legs through and then try to roll and really hurt himself. Before this, we didnt' use anything. But he gets stuck in certain positions that looked so dangerous to me so this was the perfect solution (DH was very much against bumpers...I wasn't so much now because he can move his body around pretty well). So this was a good compromise.
