1- I'm going to have to get plywood since my crin has springs... does that not mess up the level of the mattress?
2- How does it pick up my baby's breathing if the sensor is under the mattress?
3- Does it matter if baby moves at night? DS is always lower down in the crib than where he started.

Re: Just got my Angelcare monitor- couple questions
It does not affect the level of the mattress bc it is a thin piece of wood.
It feels the baby breathing (movement of chest), not exactly sure how it works it just does.
Doesn't matter if they move, my son is a wiggle worm and we always find him in a different spot and we have never had a problem.

We just have a thin board underneath it and it seems to not make a difference in the height.
No idea how it picks it up, but it does!
Doesn't matter, the sensor picks it up all over the crib. DS moves a lot too and it always picks up his breathing.
We have one but have only used it for a couple days.
I heard that once they start moving in the crib, it doesn't work. Someone I work with had to stop using it at 6 months.
