Hmmm...I always thought if you pumped until empty that you'd reach your hind milk, regardless of the number of oz you pump. I'm not sure I have any tips to offer as I'm assuming you are pumping until empty?
I have to pump (at work now) for nearly 25 minutes to empty both sides in the morning...I have oversupply and routinely pump at least 18 oz in the morning. If I don't pump that full time, I can tell my milk is thinner.
A blessing because I have a month's worth of milk for DD in the deep freeze.
A curse because if I don't pump or nurse DD timely, I'd most likely wind up with a nasty infection. Also, managing a frozen stash of that many oz is not easy; and I've pretty much run out of room in the freezer.
