so sad for my bestfriend

So my bestfriend just left her husband last night. Apparantly, they were fighting and he choked her! I thought I knew him really well, and had no idea he would do something like that. They have been trying to get pregnant for almost a year now...I feel so bad for her.

    That sucks!  Maybe its better she found out now though before they got pregnant or had a baby and subjected baby to that.

    That is so sad. It is so stressful when you are trying to get pregnant and nothing is happening. That is no excuse for what he did but it is sad to see people you care about going through this. I hope things get better for her soon.

    Ditto! I'd bet the only thing worse than being choked is being choked while pregnant. Or in front of your child...the list of horrors goes on. I hope she doesn't go back - seriously, plenty of people can be upset and not attack their wife. GL to your poor friend.

    Wow that is crazy awful!  DH knows that if he ever laid a hand on me he'd better kill me because the reprecussions would be earth ending.  Hope things get better for your friend, like lawyer better.

    No way, she is done She told me what he did is unforgivable, and I agreed. She is a very strong person and I know she will be ok, but I just hate that she has to go through this.

    That is terrible but good for her for standing up for herself and being strong... that's so sad that she was thinking about what it would be like once she got pregnant and now she won't be TTC anymore.
