bumper issue

Hi, I wonder if anyone else had this problem and what they did.  I opened up my bedding yesterday and noticed on the bumper that there are ties on the bottom and on the top of it.  I had my crib up in the highest position and the way the front of my crib is it will not tie around the top.  i know I have a solution to drop the crib lower and problem would be solved but I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas? Thanks.

    get some ribbon or yarn or something that is similar and make tie extensions?

    maybe not use it for a while. if you will have baby in your room you wont anyway. I would use it until you could securely tie it. IMO

    To be real honest I would just go buy a breathable bumper! I had a regular bumper on and about died when I went to check on DD and she had scooted to the side of the crib and her face was in the bumper!!! I immediatly took it off and went out to buy a breathable bumper that morning!!!
