Welcome to the September Sweet Peas daily check-in! This is a group for women who are due in September 2009. To be added to the list, please reply to this post with your name, age, and EDD. You may also let me know if your age or EDD has changed! I will update the list at least 3 times a week. Please be patient and your name will be added.
As you find out what the sex of your baby is, please let me know (by posting it in your reply to this check-in or PMing me) so we can keep track of the number of boys, girls, and surprises! Please let us know if you are having multiples. We will keep track of that as well.

I had my 1st appointment yesterday and measured at 7w6d so my EDD was moved up one day from Sept 4 (old) to Sept 3 (new EDD). :-)
We have NOT bought anything yet, but my parents have already started thinking about the gifts they want to get us (crib, high chair, etc.). We're super excited for their enthusiasm, plus a friend of mine said she'll give us all kinds of leftovers b/c she's not having anymore kids (free stroller, carrier, etc.). We feel blessed!
Hi everyone!
I have bought two onesies that we are wrapping and giving to our parents when we tell them the big news. One says, "What happens at Grandmas stays at Grandmas" and the other says, "Born in 2009." These are both gender neutral but once we find out the baby's sex I'm going to be shopping crazy! I can't wait, LOL!

We have bought some Milwaukee Brewers outfits that were on clearance. We are huge fans and have season tickets. This kid will be going to a lot of games
We also bought some burp cloths, onsies, and sleepers from Target. We had a gift card that was going to expire.
How is everyone feeling? I am so tired and so sick to my stomach all the time. 7-8 weeks has been the worst for me so far. Yuck!

This is our second baby so we already have a ton of stuff already. If baby is a boy we have ton of clothes since ds was also born in Sept and if baby is a girl my cousin has enough clothes to dress 5 girls.
Jewel was having an awesome diaper sale so I did get some diapers. I probably won't buy anything else until the 2nd trimester or until I know the gender.

Good morning ladies. I have my doc appt tommorrow morning so hopefully all goes well. I am extreemly nervous about it although I have peace knowing that God is in control and everything will work in his perfect will and timing. I just hope a sticky baby is part of that will ;-)
I have not bought anything yet as we have TONS of baby stuff already. Although I did buy some little picture frames that hopefully will be the perfect size for an ultrasound pic, otherwise we will use them for craft time to make Valentines frames.

I have not bought anything yet for the baby. I think I will wait awhile until I get through the first trimester. I have most things already from my first pregnancy. I would like to get a swing this time and some new duds, but I will wait till I find out what this baby is. Although I am definetly getting new maternity clothes!
Also I think I am going to call this baby Ziggy, since it started as a zygote, Ziggy the zygote.

This week is flying by! For me at least!
Are any of you LOST fans?? Did you watch last night? Wow!
My nausea has officially turned into praying to the porcelain god. Yuck. My DH was a sweetheart about it though and kept checking in on me and brought me water, pulled my hair out of my face, aww, so sweet.
QOTD: We have bought one onesie from the Life is Good store that says, "sweet pea" on it, its completely gender neutral. I also just learned to crochet before we found out, so now I'm looking for projects to make things for the little babe.
I bought a baby blanket, but that's all. We're waiting until we move next month, we'll almost be in second trimester by then and so buying a bunch of stuff seems more realistic!!
I have a doctor's appointment today! YEAY!!

I have only bought stuff before we got pregnant. I got a couple cute White Sox onesies because DH is a big fan of them. I figured they could be gender neutral.
My in-laws on the other hand have bought a bunch of stuff. My MIL has apparently been shopping for baby clothes for about 3 years. She has two big tubs of clothes in all different sizes and genders.

I have not bought anything yet because without knowing Boy or Girl I just find it hard to pick things out at the store. I think we are buying a portable pack and play today to keep at my parents house because we found a really great deal on it. There was only one left the other day so we will see if its there when I head to Target today.

Come to think of it...I don't think I did post an update. It was wonderful. Things are great. Baby is doing fine and I saw arms and legs
I was so sad that my FI wasn't there and he was too. Next time. He just couldn't leave work. He is paid hourly and they are so behind on this job.
I am considered high risk so I will have another U/S at 16 w, 20w and 24 w for sure. I will have to start seeing my dr. every 2 weeks in the second tri. ?

I have not bought anything for ourselves yet. I bought both sets of grandparents onesies when we broke the news. My sister bought the baby it's first gender-neutral onesie.
Hi ladies! I haven't posted in a few days, but wanted to check in. I'm actually going to my first appt this afternoon, as I've had continuous spotting (brown) for the past week. Hopefully, all is well. I'll keep you posted.
As for the QOTD: No, I haven't purchased anything for the baby yet. Technically, we already have everything we need from DD. I assume I'll purchase more, once we know what we're having (especially if it's a boy).
