!. DH was ready for children 2 years before me, so I bought him a cardboard cutout baby to hold him over. It has been testing out the crib and everyone thinks I have photoshopped it into our pictures.
2. I'm completely addicted to reality TV. It makes me feel good about my normal life.
3. I'm nicknamed "The Green Girl". My career has evolved into a corporate job (I used to work on the construction sites) where I'm in charge of green building and sustainability for our company. It has consumed my life and made me a complete tree hugger.
4. I love to travel. We went on 3 international trips to get it out of my system a bit last year, but I can't wait to be able to travel some more.
5. My husband admits that he thought I was a dork when he met me.?

1 - I was a single mom at 19. My son is now 14 (in sig).

4 - i lost my job last year and I secretly think it was the best thing that happened. I just love staying home.

DH got me the Season 1 DVDs for Christmas!
1. I have a degree in Music Education and am working on a Master's of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling yet I am currently working in Telecommunications.
2. I have 2 tattoos and really want at least 3 more!
3. I am a proud preacher's wife (which makes number 2 quite interesting).
4. We have 2 dogs that provide us with comic relief and we don't know how we could do without them!
5. My parents' nickname for me is Pig.

Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!
1. I am completely at a loss as to how to go about adoption - agency, consultant? how long should we wait? how much can we afford to spend? The agency we had originally signed with has an approx 3 year wait, but we can afford them. I'm just so confused!!!
2. I am old - 39.
3. DH and I met on a blind date.
4. I love to decorate cakes.
5. I sold Girl Scout cookies to Prince when I was in the 4th grade.
What a great story!!
1- I love to travel. I've been to five of the continents...and hope to make it to six....and see Antarctica from a boat!
2- I was an "expert guest" on Dr. Phil a few years ago...and boy was I nervous.
3- We have bunnies as pets. They are great pets...no smell, very neat, and most are full of personality.
4- I work with bone marrow transplant patients and donors.
5- I had a full converstation with John Ritter in a coffee shop (nice guy), and couldn't place him. I thought he was a college professor or someone's neighbor. However, the name Chrissy kept flashing in my mind...and I couldn't figure out who Chrissy was...LOL!
1. I have 4 cats, but there are 5 in the house because we are babysitting my mom's cat while she & dad are in Italy for 5 months.
2. I love to read, but haven't done it as much since we moved because I don't love this library the way I love my old one
3. I learned to snowshoe this weekend, not as hard as I thought, but definitely works a bunch of muscles
4. I never thought getting laid off would be the best thing ever, but so far it has worked out well- except I still haven't really cleaned the house
5. I am pretty handy around the house, but I get frustrated because I can't lift or move things the way I always want to and have to get DH to help.

1. Skiing is my passion, so much so that I truck all the way up to VT nearly every winter weekend (from NJ) to volunteer teaching blind and disabled people how to ski.
2. I also love to travel. Silliest and I are tied, with 5 continents each.
3. My husband and I each have our own "things to do before I die" list. Our goal is to keep adding on to the list as we cross things off, until we're really ready to take our leave.
4. I am completely obsessed with mountains--even when skiing's not an option. One of the "things to do before I die" is to see all seven summits--the highest points on each continent. Another is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
5. I always need to be busy. Right now, I'm trying to get my dossier ready, still volunteering with two organizations, am taking Spanish, working full time (it's our busy season), planning our nephew's first snowboarding trip, and making the trip to VT just about every weekend. I'm really not sure what's gonna give once we bring our child home, but I'm really looking forward to extended maternity leave!
Okay, I feel a little less crazy or at least not so alone in my craziness. I also have to do words backwards: Tums backwards is Smut. Evian backwards is Naive, etc.

1) I love to cook and bake, and fantasize about kitchen gadgets and gizmos. I can't walk past a Williams Sonoma without going in to at least look.
2) My second fantasy is to be a novelist, and have several stories in my head already.
3) I am the only girl with 3 brothers who all had kids very easily...almost too easily. My mother had 4 kids while on the pill.

5) I have been blonde since birth, but turned into a redhead in November and think I may keep it this way.
1. I was on my college sailing team. (Now I have to sail at local lakes because I no longer live in a coastal area. It's not nearly the same.)
2. I used to have top-secret clearance with the federal govt.
3. I enjoy all sorts of inane trivia, but often have a difficult time remembering little facts or the punchline of jokes. (Don't ask me to tell you a joke. It won't be funny because I will laugh hysterically before I tell it, then not tell it correctly, and will probably forget the punchline.)
4. I am an inventive and creative cook.
5. I do not yet have a facebook account and apparently I am the only one without one among all my friends and family.
I'm totally late to the party on this one but I wanna play!!
1. I wish more than anything that I could bake. In DH's words, I am "a helluva cook, but can't bake to save my life"
2. Same goes for gardening. I want to be a good gardner and I try, but I have one serious "black thumb"
3. I'm a big planner - I make spreadsheets to plan vacations and my friends call me their personal life leader because I'm always telling everyone where to be, what to do, etc.
4. I'm a hopeless reality tv junkie.
5. I'm painfully shy but have been able to overcome it to some degree, (one of my friends thinks I'm incredibly outgoing), but inside, I'll always feel like the shy girl!
LOL - this is so Sex and the City with Charlotte, Trey and the cardboard baby....."don't you bring that flat baby in here!" Love it!

As far as me...
1. I've moved around a lot - about 14 times!
2. If I eat something sweet, I have to have something salty, too (like if I have ice cream, I follow it with pretzels.
3. I love to read! I just read the Twilight series. I loved the Shopaholic series, too (can't wait for the movie!)
4. I love to be creative -- painting, drawing, knitting, etc.
5. I love being online, checking out chatboards, reading blogs, etc. I'm addicted!
I had never even heard about that episode until someone saw the nursery photos with fake baby this week and told that! Too funny.?
1. I quit my job recently to be a SAHM to our foster son....even though we know he's going to family at some point.
2. I have two advanced degrees.....making #1 even sillier.
3. My DH calls me "Button."
4. I danced the jig on stage in Grant Park. This was my first time ever dancing the jig.
5. I convinced my best friend to move from sunny FL to central PA in the middle of winter so we could hang out. She's been here one year and counting!
