you've GOT to be kidding me...Daycare already?

i have been advised by many friends to start getting on waitlists and interviewing daycare opportunities NOW. NOOOOOOOOW!?!??! I AM 12/13 FREAKIN WEEKS

    I was on the list at 14 weeks and did not find out until 26 weeks that she got the spot.  It is a very popular daycare and they only take 8 infants, sadly she starts in 3 weeks when I go back to work.

    It depends on your location and what you're looking for in a day care. For a very reputable place, you may want to get on a waiting list now. We looked at day care options and pricing before getting pregnant so we could get a better idea of what our budget will be like after baby.

    I've heard this also...I figure I'll start making some phone calls in the next few weeks.

    jeez I didnt even think that you would have to start looking for daycare this soon. I am lucky I can take baby to work with me and on days that work work baby will be with my mom of MIL..

    I honestly wish some of my friends had given me the same advice. It's harder (at least in my area) to find places that will take infants, so it's definitely a good idea to start getting your preferences together as to what you are looking for in a daycare.

    It depends on where you live but with DS#1, I put him on a waitlist when I was 13 weeks pregnant and a spot didn't open up until he was around 6 months old.
