Hello!
I have been lurking here for some time and since I just got back from the RE I figured it was a good time to introduce myself. First, I want to say what an inspiration all you ladies are. I struggled tremendously when I initially discovered that my DH and I's road to children would not be the one I had always envisioned. I have learned a great deal from reading this board though and am now looking at our IF with great hope...so thank you.
My story (in a nutshell): I went off bcp in June 2007 prior to our wedding (I didn't want to have AF on our honeymoon or have to double up on packs to avoid...) Well, that was all in vain because AF never showed. Flash forward six months to December 2007...stress of wedding over, still no AF. My OB gave me provera...I failed the challenge. In April 2008 she referred me to an RE at CRMI where all my blood work came back normal. It has now been 20 months of no AF despite lifestyle changes (weight gain, reduced intensity workouts, etc.) My diagnosis is 'annovulatory unexplained?. I have slight PCOS which does not present in any of my hormone levels.
I just finished my first round of Clomid (100 mg) and had my day 10 ultrasound today. My lining is thin- 2.7 but I have two follies that are growing at 12 and 13 on the right and left side respectively. I am hoping they continue to flourish, but am also being realistic. I go back on Wed for more bw and another ultrasound.
I am looking forward to chatting with your ladies and wish you all great success in getting your BFPs!
Re: Stepping out as well...( a little long)
Welcome! I am pretty new, too, but lurked for a long time like you. Already I have found everyone here to be supportive and welcoming! Good luck with everything.

Welcome! I too lurked here and found the women on this board a great source of info and support. Good luck with everything, and I hope your stay here is short.
