OK, so yesterday I posted this:
So today, when our nanny showed up, I told her that I had packed DD1's lunch and put it in the fridge--and that I cut up a peach for her and it was in a container on top of her lunch. So our nanny said, "Oh, I tried to give her a peach before and she didn't want it"...so I just threw out there--"Well, she loves peaches--in fact I took some pictures of her gobbling one up--you can look on Facebook and see them..."....the look on her face (kinda like this: )was pretty funny. I don't know if she knows that I know she defriended me....i'm so juvenile...HAHAHA...
And for AWing--here is a pic of my DD1 nomming up a peach:
Re: Update on Nanny "weirdness"
Haha--nope! Not a word...she just kind of smiled and said, "Oh yeah..."...geeeeez.....
I concur with "juvenile," and would like to add passive-aggressive as well.
Seems like you're just making an already 'weird' situation more awkward. But hey, we all handle ourselves and our situations differently.

Wow. Actually, I didn't think about the Facebook situation when I told her about the pictures...it was actually a slip of the tongue--and it ended up being kind of funny.
We surely DO handle ourselves differently.
I thought so too--but we have been "friends" since March...so, it was kind of strange to "defriend" out of seemingly nowhere. I don't care either way-the only reason I even went to check her page was to double check the date of her birthday--because I wanted to make cupcakes and get her a giftcard. And then it made me feel like she was hiding something.
That wasn't clear in the original post. Sounded like you just wanted to see her squirm, which would be juvenile (your word) and passive-agressive (my word). Sorry if I misunderstood.

she probably just realized what a bad idea it was to have her boss on FB. Thats all.
Sorry if I was unclear--I definitely am not rude enough to do something like that. I feel like I am being juvenile about the situation--as in, wondering why she deleted me (which I don't even really care about!)...the whole thing is just stupid. But thanks for the apology
This. I really dont think it's weird that she "unfriended" you; you're her boss, not her friend, and it's just fb. Also, it def. sounds in the original post that you made that comment to her intentionally to make her squirm.
No, seriously--I didn't make it on purpose--I realized what I was saying halfway through my sentence. I always refer people to pictures on my facebook--cuz i post TONS of pictures on it. I'm a nerd. And a loser.
But not mean enough to do that to her. For realz. I'm going to bake birthday cupcakes for her, for cryin'outloud!
I'm apparently a jerk because I would totally make that comment to see her squirm.
