NE1 have crocs for kids with the lining, "mammoth?"

I want to get Jason a pair to wear around the house as slippers, he isn't a big fan on actual slippers, socks or shoes, but he really liked his crocs over the summer.  Just wondering how your toddler did in them? It doesn't look like it has a strap to keep them on in the back, they just look like a slip on, not sure how my two year old will do in them...any thoughts?

  • I can't spend that kind of money on DS's shoes that he'll only wear for so long, so I bought the "frocs" from TCP that have lining and DS loves them. He rarely will let me put any other shoes on him. Smile Yes, they do have a strap on the back (at least the ones from TCP do).

  • my dd had them last year at age 3 and had no trouble walking in them, but she's obv. older than your son.  I will say to order a size up though -- it's almost like the plastic part is the normal size but the fur inside makes them much smaller, if that makes any sense!
  • We got a pair for DS in september to start wearing since it was getting cold and he hated all other shoes. We were also worried about the no back, but it was no issue at all.

The back on the ones with the lining is higher than regular crocs. So his foot fit in and it stayed there. He did kick them off on his own a lot, but he was fine when walking. He was about 16 months when he first started wearing them.

He now has a total of 3 pairs and LOVES them. We have to fight to get any other shoe on when its super cold and snowy. But with a sock, they seem to keep his feet pretty warm.

  • DD has been wearing them all winter and she doesn't have any problems with them falling off.  I think the lining helps keep them on.  The only problem she has is tripping a liitle bit since the bottoms are non-skid, every so often when she's not paying attention she'll trip herself up.  She loves them because she can put them on by herself (even though it's usually on the wrong feet- lol)
