Do they exist? I really need to find some that don't leak and are dishwasher safe. My daughter (18 mo) likes to leave them around the house (laying down) and then they leak.
Recommendations please?
Gerber. YOu need to use the valve though. However I can tell you they are great because when you are ready to have your DD transition from a cup that she will Suck to get water out to a cup that the water somewhat flows through.
I second Gerber. We have those and the playtex sippy cups and I think the Gerber leak even less then the playtex. We do have one playtex cup that leaks all the time, and the other playtex one we have doesn't. Not sure how that works, but the Gerber cups we have never have leaked!
Gerber or playtex - both with the handles attached to the lid. They really don't leak unless the valve isn't in tight. I have both and love them. Like your DC, my DD loves to throw them and leave them laying down on the floor everywhere.
I have had the best luck with Avents. She likes to turn he cup upside down and bang it on things and thats the only one that doesnt give her the pleasure of making a mess.
All of our sippies leak. I've had the best luck (i.e., least leaking) with the Gerber ones, as pp's said. DS really likes the Gerber ones that change color when you add hot/cold liquid.
The Gerber ones are great. I will say though that they do end up leaking if you have had them a while. DS has used his for nearly a year ( he is 22 months ) and when he throws them hard the valve falls out. The playtex ones still work great.
