It sucked. I left DD happy and awake and hungry. They said they'd give her a bottle. I said she would probably take the whole thing. I said PLEASE come get me if there are any problems at all.
The woman asked if she could feed her in her car seat in case the phone rang. No problem. I got her started. A 6-year-old who was also there asked if she could help. Sure. When I left, the woman was on the phone and the 6-year-old was feeding her.
Came back 15 minutes to check and the woman was still on the phone, little girl still feeding her. My class was about to start.
Came back an hour later and DD was STILL in her car seat and had eaten less than 1/2 ounce! She was passed out which she only does when she is really upset and overwhelmed. The woman said she had some crying fits but she didn't come get me because she ended up falling asleep.
No shiit, the poor thing was starving and had a 6-year-old in her face for an hour and no mommy to soothe her when she got upset. I'd choose to just close my eyes too.
I feel terrible. ?

The woman was really nice and was on the phone with her son's teacher -- sounded like somewhat of an emergency.?I don't think I'm going to complain. I feel bad for her. She was clearly upset by this phone call.
And maybe she did hold and try to feed DD during the hour I was gone. But I'm certainly not going back until DD is MUCH older. I just think she was too young for it. I feel horrible for trying it this young in the first place. I think it was my own fault.
