Explanation of my scan and gender guesses 20 weeks 1 day

Hi - could anyone give me an insight of my 20 week 1 day scan please - not sure if I'm looking at a leg or a cord? Also any gender guesses? Thank you!

    You are looking at a side profile of a fetus.  That's all that can be said.  What did the US tech say? Boy or Girl that is who would know.  Not internet strangers that are looking at a side profile.

    Aw what a cute profile. 😍 a whole human! So amazing! I can't tell by the photo. I took classes but it's not the best picture to go off of. Were they able to see if it was a boy or girl? Sometimes if they can't they will have you come back. You can always say certain things and they'll schedule you another US. 🧡

    @emeraldmaybythebay that is what is so wrong with people.  Lie about stuff to clog up the medical system.  Its screwed up enough as is, then you suggest to someone to lie, just to get another ultrasound.  People are so messed up.  BE Very thankful that you DO NOT NEED ANOTHER SCAN!

    @harperseal135 the honorary BUMP bully! Always lurking. I've had a stillborn and it was discovered during a scan that the baby wouldn't live. I ACTUALLY know that feeling so please sit this out. You're a wreck of a human an it shows everytime I have a baby, I come on here excited and you're perpetually on here harassing moms who are actually expecting and hormonal and anxious. What is wrong with women like you and the need to be so vile!?  Please stop with this mean girl superiority complex..you have 1 child that you had nearly a decade ago. Haha 😏
    I now ask for a scan whenever I am anxious and I highly recommend anyone who is anxious or worried does so. It doesn't clog up anything. My SIL is a US tech and she has had less work than ever the past few years. Her coworker went into doing Sonos of veins because that oddly enough has taken off. 🤔 Less people are pregnant. I think she would know over a former "teacher". 🙄They can usually get you in that day. It's quite simple. Birth rates are down right now. Lol simple facts. Being a ball of anxiety is not healthy for baby so if it helps someone to calm their nerves it's worth it and by using the write words you'll get listened to. I've had 8 pregnancies, not just one. I would know. 🤗

    @BumpAdmin is there a way to mute people? I could go a lifetime without hearing from this negative Nancy! Please help her not be so rude to other users it's ALL the time.

    @emeraldmaybythebay im so glad that you know my "story." Yet you have no idea of my story.  

    I stand by my statement that "you can say certain things and they will schedule you for an extra ultrasound." Is manipulating the system - sorry but not sorry.  Lying about symptoms is not right.   I don't know where you are from, but you can not get an US pretty much on demand as you state.  

    Also who cares if I've been on for a long period. Its not like these boards are booming.  I give support when needed, I call out when warranted (whether people like it or not), you post on public forums you can get responses that you like or do not like.

    Oh Harps, I never said lie. Reading comprehension skills are a great thing to possess. Makes life much easier. You have to word things correctly with the medical system. If not they won't see you and will side step you. I would know they ignored me when I didn't play their lingo game. Simple.
    Then if you've ever had issues in the past they just let you in. Yes, on demand. I got in same day with both my last 2 dating US. Pretty amazing how that works. But what do I know. I'm currently living it, again. Again this is my 8th pregnancy. 

    Never is it "warranted" to be a rude mean girl. 🤔  All this person did was gleefully show off her baby. It's sweet. Obviously we are not techs. It's an exciting time for women. Why be jaded toward them? Especially to currently pregnant women who come to a place like the Bump for support, not to be "called out" for showing an US image of their baby and asking about it, because a very hostile human on the other side decides it's "warranted". Way to welcome them to Mom club... yup the mean girls are now raising the next round nothing has changed here's a crash course. Who cares? Apparently all the women who have said that you act the way you do on here. If you were kind like some of the other moms on here for the last decade that would be different. Just try to be nice. If you have a rude comment maybe resist posting it. There is no need for it. Regardless how "warranted" YOU deem it. 

    It's telling that I'm far from the only one that has made a comment about how rude you are on here. I'm shocked the Bump enables your behavior. Would LOVE a block button @BumpAdmin.

    Its not "mean girl" As you say.  

    Its common sense. Why do women think that a "gender" of their child can be determined by a side profile picture?  They were in the office, if they truly wanted to know the SEX (YES there is a difference between sex and gender) they can ask right there.  

    I do not live as if everything are roses and rainbows.  Cold hard truth is what its called and I will call someone out and point out the obvious.

    You act like im a "bully." Im not i tell it as it is, I give support when needed, and if people don't like how others respond, then don't post on a public forum.  I refuse to hold hands and baby someone who expects rainbows and unicorns.

    You can respond however you want but just know you don't know own my story and my story is more heartbreaking than you could dream of.

    I do know you story as you posted it over the last decade online. If you don't want people to "know" your story don't post it on public accounts. People speak on things you posted. If you don't like it don't post it. The deep dive of your story has to be pretty terrible for you to come on here and treat other women the way you do. I can't imagine the self loathing and misery I'd have to be in to constantly lurk on a website to find someone posting something that I felt warranted me being a mean girl to and calling them out on. Gotta be pretty awful for that.

    Not joining the bickering but, as a loss mom, you can get scans easily if you feel anxious. They will bring you in just about weekly if you really need it. I started getting scans at 6 weeks due to my anxiety after my first loss. Then depending on the results I will go in for several more.
