Anyone else struggling to find affordable maternity clothes that are appropriate for the business world? Please drop suggestions and help a gal out. I’m normally a small in clothing but with pregnancy I am medium or large? Help!!
I have bought some stuff from SHEIN - it takes a week or so to come, but it’s not very expensive and mostly everything I got fit well. I work in Administration for a health system so I have to look nice, which can be hard when we are this pregnant and it’s HOT out!
Finding maternity clothes that are both affordable and work-appropriate can be a real challenge. I had the best luck checking out sales on sites like H&M Maternity, ASOS, and even Old Navy—lots of stretchy pencil skirts, blouses with room to grow, and basic black maternity trousers that still looked polished. Also, don’t overlook secondhand apps like ThredUp or Poshmark—they often have gently used maternity workwear for a fraction of the price. And if you're looking for more stylish staples or layering pieces, definitely contact express clothing—they often carry sleek basics and occasionally have pieces with enough stretch to accommodate a growing bump, especially during sales.
I love the full-length maternity leggings from New Beginnings. When I wear them as a business casual, I pair them with a long cardigan or blazer and finish it off with loafers or ballet flats. Super comfortable, but still clean and professional-looking
