How are you feeling? Generally good! A little tired, a little crampy, occasionally queasy, but really canβt complain.
Rants/Raves: The days are getting longer, all the trees are blooming, and although this is Colorado so weβre probably not done with snow for the spring, itβs really feeling like we made it through winter βοΈ
Questions:
GTKY: What's your favorite kind of weather? My mood definitely goes with the weather, so while I love the occasional rainy day curled up at home with a mug of tea and a good book, I do best with lots and lots of sunshine (see above, haha). My absolute favorite weather is a summer morning where you can tell itβs going to be a hot day but itβs still cool out; takes me right back to childhood every time.

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: team finding out. Given my high hCG and the ways this pregnancy is so different from my son, I suspect itβs a girl.

FTM/STM/TTM+/it's complicated:
STM - my first is 14 years old, though.. So, it's like FTM all over again, really.
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green:
Finding out, for sure.
Upcoming Appointments:
First OB appt is 5/5.. But, I had my final appt yesterday at my fertility specialist office to release me to the care of my OB. Did an ultrasound and found out some life changing info.. TWINS. There's TWO baby's inside of me.
How are you feeling?
OVERWHELMED, TERRIFIED... EXCITED.
Rants/Raves:
So.. I did my US yesterday and after she delivered the life altering, absolutely unexpected news, my husband and I were sent back to the waiting area to wait until seeing Doc. Mind you, the waiting area is filled with woman that are exactly where I was at up until a few months ago... Sad, scared, wondering why they aren't able to conceive and wondering if they'll EVER be able to.... So, I'm sat there in the waiting room looking around at all the faces around me during INFERTILITY AWARENESS WEEK, no less! And I'm sitting there feeling absolutely ECSTATIC and then directly after just so ashamed for not being able to hide my smile and happiness. Granted, if roles were reversed I would be ecstatic for any momma getting her dream come true. For all I know, that's how the others felt as well, but.... Has anyone else struggled with infertility here? It's the most... unexplainable issue that I've ever faced. The havoc it wreaks on your mental well being is insane and the emotional scars.... It's A LOT. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had to cope with feeling a tad guilty for getting what they want after trying for so long? Am I crazy for feeling GUILT? I know it was situational and I was surrounded by others struggling, but. I don't know. If you've read this long, thanks for being a trooper in my moment. I needed the release of typing this out, I think. My family and husband doesn't understand it, but.. I'm sure someone here might, and that makes me feel better, actually.Β
Questions:
I'm a FT working woman.. Is anyone else already wondering how they'll navigate that? I honestly have a million questions surrounding that one question.. Child care? Do you trust a daycare? Am I overthinking all of it like I have a tendency of doing way too soon? Probably.. This isn't the way I exactly wanted y'all to get to know me.. The anxiety ridden side first, but here we are lol.Β
GTKY: What's your favorite kind of weather?
Winter time. I love a cold night around a bonfire.Β
All that to say the whole range of feelings is valid and understandable. Be kind to yourself. Also, OMG TWINS!!! Congratulations!!!
FTM/STM/TTM+/it's complicated: 3rd
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: we will find out, mostly so we know if we can donate all the girls clothes we have leftover from the first two.Β
Upcoming Appointments: ultrasound 5/16!Β
How are you feeling? π€’ morning sickness hit, boobs are still killing me, so so exhausted, my sense of smell if also crazy and my gums are not happy.Β
Rants/Raves: I told myself I was going to work out more and drink more water this time and I actually am managing to do it. (But that also means Iβm always having to pee)Β
Questions: nope!Β
GTKY: What's your favorite kind of weather?
fog! I love foggy weather but itβs so rare.Β

I would like to petition to call it "all day sickness" instead of morning sickness. I'm nauseous all day long. All day. And then I puke at night. I'm considering the B6 and unisom combo to help, but I really don't want to take medicine it's not 100% necessary.Β
they asked me when the last dental check up was as part of the prenatal intake and I was like that reminds me I am due for a cleaningβ¦
@warriorprincessstan I vote all day sickness as well. Constant nausea.Β
I am pretty sure this the most blood Iβve ever had drawn at once/for one batch. I think they only took 8 to type match for bone marrow donation. Yeesh.Β
