How you found out: we’d been trying for 6 months with no luck so OB said to come on in. She prescribed Clomid and I was waiting for my period so I could start it. A week later I still hadn’t gotten my period (10 days late at this point) so I tested again and got a positive.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’ve got 2 girls and a boy already so DH and I keep going from “OMG YAY” to “What have we done???” 😅 No pets, just 3 kids and 16 acres that we do our best to keep up with. Both of us work in the ag inputs industry - it’s a lot of fun! BIG Tennessee Volunteers fan. Our Saturdays - scratch that - our fall revolves around the UT football schedule.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I. AM. ECSTATIC. I was excited for my first, apprehensive for my 2nd & 3rd but this time I was jumping up and down, screaming when we got a positive. I’m exhausted and nauseous but I know it’ll ease up soon.
Hi everyone! I'm 35 years old, from Michigan. I am a poster on The Bump (but really more often on The Nest) from WAY back when I was pregnant with my first in 2012 😎
Due date:
5/29/25
How you found out:
took a test yesterday after my period was late a few days. My cycle has been variable recently so I wasn't really expecting a positive although deep down the symptoms I was having definitely felt like pregnancy. I had an ectopic pregnancy around Thanksgiving last year due to a problem with my IUD, so I've been off birth control since that experience. My husband and I weren't really trying right now but I have been pestering him to decide on when to have more because we aren't getting any younger 😅
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
We have two boys already, ages 11 and 6. Apparently we are heading for an even bigger age gap than my first two! I am a school counselor. We like to spend a lot of time outside with our family.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?
Physically I've had the sore boobs, cramping, some weird headaches that come and go, insomnia which is kind of a weird one. Emotionally I'm trying to just be calm because I know the next few weeks I'm going to be monitored closely to make sure I don't have a repeat ectopic. So trying to just protect my emotions right now and not get too far ahead of myself.

My husband and i have been not not trying for the last 3 years and I guess it’s true what they say, when you stop trying so hard it happens. So I saw those pink lines and freaked out.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a tax accountant so I got really lucky with my due date, I live with my husband who is a cook. We’ve had some insane family things happen in the last few months and this definitely felt like just another thing to happen and the timing of the due date is literally the worst. (I’m a maid of honor in my sisters wedding on may 8th) so it was a lot when I found out. I’m happy about it now.

How you found out: just took a test at home today! I was expecting my period over the weekend but kept telling myself not to test so I wouldn’t be disappointed, esp since I’m not totally regular. I was having cramps on and off but then started feeling bloated like I did with my first pregnancy so finally this afternoon I caved and got a test.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) one amazing daughter who’s 3.5. I’m a writer for a news website and husband works in healthcare administration. I love yoga, cooking and reading! Currently almost done with The Story of a New Name by Elena Ferrante
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I feel super bloated but other than that not much. I don’t feel as fatigued as I did the first time but trying to be positive and not read into it 🤞🤞 Emotionally I’m excited and can’t believe it! We were trying for almost a year but never in the intense focused way we did with my daughter haha!
I’m Sara. I live in the Bay Area with my husband and our 3 cats.
Due late May, currently 5-ish weeks.
I’m a safety manager at an R&D facility and he is a physicist. Our cats are completely spoiled.
I had a feeling I was pregnant when my blood sugars began behaving oddly. I’m a type one diabetic with a continuous glucose monitor so I could see blood sugar trends that don’t normally happen. Later in the week some friends invited us for a wine and charcuterie night and I decided to take an early test “just in case”. And here I am!
Mostly I’m feeling queasy. Like always on the edge of puking but trying to keep it down. Hopefully that goes away. Despite that, we’re thrilled about the little sea goblin.
Hello friends, my name is Jasper - 30 years old pregnant with my first in Alberta, Canada.
My due date is May 12, 2025 (based on my LMP) have my first appointment next week on Oct 4th.
I’ve been on birth control since I was 19 years old.. my husband and I decided I would get off in July 2024 to see if my cycle would regulate so we could start trying in January 2025. We were told that because I had been on it for so long it could take my body some time to readjust. Well low and behold I got my first “real” period again in August. We did the PULL AND PRAY method.. and well here we are… my period was late in Sept and I thought… it couldn't possibly be.. and well I got my first positive pregnancy test on Sept 4.
We have no other children but we have a doodle named Bauser who is 6 years old. My husband and I loveee to travel and we have been to 16 countries. That's going on pause for a little bit.
I am feeling very anxious. I didn't realize how much waiting there would be in the first trimester.. and how much of it is out of my control.. I'm just hoping our little bean is growing and has a healthy strong heartbeat at our first ultrasound next Friday.
Introduce yourself: Hi, I'm Jenna from Michigan and I'm 37 years old.
Due date: May 28 (currently 5 weeks, 3 days)
How you found out: Due to my age, my husband and I have been trying to conceive since we got married in May 2022. We have unexplained infertility (i kept passing every test they threw at me). I've had five failed IUIs and one failed embryo transfer (last January) of a euploid 4AA baby girl embryo. We did another embryo transfer of a little boy on September 9. My beta HCG on 9/16 was 79.4, on 9/18 it was 229.8. My fertility clinic all celebrated but I was nervous and asked for another HCG test on 9/24 ... it was 5,357! This is the first time I've ever had a positive pregnancy test ever.
Tell us about yourself: We have no other children and my beautiful 13.5 year old fur baby Mollie passed away on August 1. It was extra rough because I've been wanting to make her a big sister for so long. My husband and I both work, we like to golf and travel and root for our local university football team.
How are you feeling?: So far I haven't had many symptoms. The occasional faint cramping, but that happened more around weeks 3 and 4. My boobs are tender but I'm so used to that with all the hormones they've had me take during this infertility ride. I'm cautiously optimistic at the moment, hoping these strong HCG tests mean we'll be OK. I have a 6 week scan with my fertility clinic on October 3, so I'm just hoping we'll see a heartbeat and feel better about this journey.
ntroduce yourself: Hi everyone my name is Greta I’m 24 years old and live in the Texas!

My husband will graduate in a couple of years and then re-join the military and he will be in the national guard by early next year (yay free healthcare 🎉) We have a 3 y.o. German Shepard and he is the sweatiest dog ever
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I honestly I don’t feel pregnant ahaha maybe because I’m so early in but I don’t have any nausea, my breast is a little bit tener and sometimes my lower back hurts but besides that I don’t feel I am! I am still processing it. My husband is extremely happy, I feel like he is happier than me ahaha but we are happy that we know he will be able to be there for our baby on his/her early years and not missing to much. I am also blessed with amazing in laws, they are truly the best people and I feel like they compensate the fact that my parents are in the other side of the world. I can’t wait to go back to Italy for Christmas and tell them the good news 😍 I can’t wait to meet everyone!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This will be our first child. We have 2 dogs. I’m an outpatient mental health therapist. My spouse and I love going to the beach, watching scary movies, going on little adventures and cuddling up.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I feel super fatigued most of the time. I can fall asleep ok but staying asleep is the challenge. Also I’m already very sensitive to smells. My boobs are extremely sore and sensitive.
Introduce yourself: Hi my name is Amanda, I'm 29 and I live in Chicago
Due date: 5/4
How you found out: I had consistent headaches for a few days in a row and then felt a little nauseous the day before I was supposed to get my period, so I tested when I got home from work.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I have been married for 3 years and this will be our second child. Our son is 18 months old. I'm an SLP and work part time and stay home with our son part time. We love going on road trips and spending time outside. Although we live in Chicago, we're not city people lol. We would rather live in the mountains. Maybe someday!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I was feeling pretty awful until the last couple of days. The nausea has seemed to subside a bit, but I'm still feeling pretty fatigued. My husband and I are starting to feel a little less shocked and a little bit more excited, but we were not expecting this. We were hoping to wait until next year to have a second, but the best laid plans lol
Hi everyone! I’m Katie from WA state, Seattle area.
Due date: 5/24
How you found out: took a pregnancy test as early as possible- we’ve been trying since February and I had actually made an appointment to talk to the doc about next steps.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) we have a wonderful 2 year old son. I’m currently self employed which has been tough with my energy level
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Very excited. Very very tired. A bit nauseas and also super hungry
Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Cathy from the east coast
Due date: currently May 15, 2025
How you found out: I had a really good suspicion because I’m very aware of my body but I found out with an at home test.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have one daughter who is 5 who just started kindergarten this September. A husband who owns his own business and I work full time.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I have been exhausted and nauseated for the past 2 weeks or so now. I unfortunately cannot drink any coffee because it makes the nausea worse so the exhaustion is all the more real.
Hi everyone! I’m Marysia, 37 an artist & designer living in New England.
I had an early miscarriage three years ago when we had an oopsie (I was working on my masters degree and the timing was terrible for another baby - we already have 2 girls - but it was still a tough blow to go through it). That experience made me pretty nervous and anxious to try again now that we are ready for another - so I took a bunch of test the first few weeks and found a midwife that agreed that we should do a viability scan at 6 weeks. We got lucky and got to see a heartbeat! Looking forward to our next scan and tests - last time I miscarried around 7 weeks but found out at week 12.
My husband and I have two girls that are almost 5 and almost 7. We finally got married this summer and we knew we wanted to try for another. He’s an audio/visual designer and works with music artists like Mya, Flume, Modest Mouse, etc. Producing their stage visuals and often touring with them.
I feel like I’m very hungover every day even though I’m obviously not drinking (nauseous but not vomitting, super tired, out of breath) and my boobs are suddenly huge and sore.
Hi, I’m Jess and my due date is May 3 - joining a bit late as my first trimester scan today bumped me a bit further from the initial April 28 estimate. We live in a rural community in Atlantic Canada.
How you found out: My friend had a late period due to stress but was a bit worried, so I joked that I would test at the same time she did. I was technically late - CD39 - but due to PCOS that did not have my spidey senses going at all. I wasn’t expecting a positive - we’d been taking a testing/treatment break after 3 failed letrozole cycles earlier this year. It was an instant positive and I was SHOCKED!
Tell us about yourself: Husband and I have been married for four years and we’re both pharmacists. We have a four year old pup, and live next door to my in-laws farm.
How are you feeling: Had some light but consistent spotting over the last few weeks, so emotionally pretty anxious up until we finally got to see blob’s heartbeat, and very relieved and excited now! Physically, my best time of day is morning and early afternoon, but very nauseous/bloated/gassy/heartburny/exhausted in the evenings.
How you found out: Late period after having the newest covid. Thought I'd take a test for peace of mind. Didn't think it would be positive! That was about a week and a half ago.
Tell us about yourself: I'm 34, and have 2 kids (13yo boychild & almost 11yo girlchild). So huge age gap! We have 4 Akitas that are huge, wonderful fluffballs. I'm a doula and a health care aide for a sweet 13yo special needs boy.
How are you feeling: anxious to tell my kids! The husband wants to wait until we can tell his mom in person, and we have to wait until covid is no longer in our house. I am horrible at keeping things from people, and I want my kids to know! Also still kind of shocked. I honestly thought I was done. I LOVE babies, but toddlers are hard. My nausea and food aversion are STRONG this time around. And I'm burping CONSTANTLY!
Nice to meet y'all! If you have any non-medical questions, I am trained and certified in all thing prenatal, birth, and postpartum! Being a doula means I'm more than happy to help mamas (with non-biased, supportive, and fact based information, as well as emotional support)! ♡
@SummerBaby969 so excited to have a doula in the group! I had one for my previous two pregnancies (both ended in c-sections though). Was debating one this go around as well since I want to attempt a vbac. I was thinking of putting the money into a postpartum doula instead though.
How you found out: we’d been trying for a while, and I was feeling hopeless. I have endo and was preparing to go the doctor and see if we could start some medication. I felt weird, so hot and lots of discharge. I took a test one morning and couldn’t believe my eyes. I also found out EARLY! 3 weeks and 2 DPO.
Tell us about yourself: I’m married to my husband and we have a 6 year old dog! I’m a mental health therapist and I’m so excited to be a mom🩷
How are you feeling: so incredibly happy. I have my first appointment on Monday and I can’t wait to see our sweet baby. I am so exhausted, and feel bloated. I’m also so so so moody so very thankful for my husbands patience 😂 excited for this journey and wishing you all a peaceful and healthy pregnancy
Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Brittany, 36, first pregnancy after trying for about 5 years. PCOS warrior!
Due date: 5/24
How you found out: we had been actively trying with fertility treatments, so like most women I found out with an at home test around 4 weeks.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We live in Oklahoma, 2 cats and a husband of almost 14 years! I was a L&D and NICU nurse for almost 12 years (I know WAY too much for my own good in this situation) but I switched to clinical research 2 years ago so I could work from home I love to read and do outside things!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Physically my biggest annoyance right now is shortness of breath and extreme fatigue! Y’all I’m so tired! I’m on progesterone suppositories so having all the symptoms from that! But it’s worth it. I have a lot of anxiety for our first appointment in two days - just trying to stay positive and stay active!
Introduce yourself: Hello I’m Justine, 36, live in Colorado
Due date: 5/22
How you found out: we had a molar pregnancy fall of 2023 and stopped trying until July 2024 when I began monitoring superrr obsessively. Decided to stop thinking about it in August and during the 2nd week of September I could feel something changing in my body. Got multiple positive tests 9/13 and first ultrasound with everything looking great on 10/8!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We live in western Colorado with our 2 labradoodles. I am an occupational therapist and my husband works in healthcare as well. Just completed my first trail marathon (with Dr approval!) and enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, & camping
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Excited, nervous, tired!
I’m Kelsey from CT and 35 years old. Due date is 5/21 but I’m naturally pregnant with twins! So if we make it to 38 weeks the real due date will be 5/7. I have two other kiddos (3 and 1) who were conceived by IVF. I’m feeling scared and nervous also so so excited!
@justganik a friend of ours had a molar pregnancy last year as well, and I know the whole experience and waiting afterward was very hard on them. I hope you're well and healthy, and congrats on another pregnancy!!
I was suspicious when my boobs started hurting more than normal period aches and on the day I was supposed to start my period, I took a pregnancy test and it was very positive.
This will be my first child with my husband. We’ve been together 12.5 years, married for almost one and decided now was the right time. We’re originally from Michigan but moved to Memphis for my job 3.5 years ago from Chicago. We both now work from home and will eventually move somewhere else but aren’t sure where. I work in supply chain and manufacturing and had been in factories for the last 12 years but recently moved into a corporate role and am so glad I did now that I’m pregnant. I can’t imagine being at the factory and dealing with fatigue and food aversions.
I am more nervous than excited still. I am anxious to get some genetic testing done to be sure the baby is developing properly. We’re also not sharing with family or friends until thanksgiving and it’s hard to not have a network of close friends and family to talk with but my husband has been a wonderful support so far.
How you found out: We had been trying for almost a year and were in the process of setting up appointments to see a fertility doctor. I figured that I had been in another extended cycle (thank you prenatals for messing that up) and just took a test to prove to myself that it was just an extended cycle when my period was a day late. When I saw the positive lines I was just so overwhelmed
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 28 and an engineer, my husband is 27 and works for the city. This will be our first baby, but we do have 2 cats and 1 dog. We living in Ontario, so we enjoy hiking and camping during the summer, but in the winter playing board games and inside hobbies is where we can be found.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Emotions have been all over the place we are both really excited as we have been trying for so long, but both sides of our family have had a lot of pregnancy issues so we were super hesitant to anyone until we knew it was going to be a viable pregnancy. I am exhausted all the time and feel nauseous for majority of the day, my breasts were super sore for the first couple weeks but that is starting to calm down a bit though.
How you found out: My husband and I have been trying for our first child for 4.5 yrs, with loss in the process. We have been doing fertility treatments, first IUI, then IVF. Our first frozen embryo transfer was successful and we are now pregnant!
How are you feeling: My nausea is finally starting to slightly improve. I have a perigestational hemorrhage (SCH) so have been taking it very easy, which is difficult for me. Thankfully we get weekly ultrasounds for the time being due to IVF so that eases my mind.
Introduce yourself: hello, my name is April I live in Texas. I have five children with my ex-husband 22,20,16,14,12 my boyfriend has an 11-year-old daughter and my boyfriend and I had a miscarriage two years ago. No signs and symptoms or warnings broke both of our hearts and broke us. We are now expecting this baby who puts on the show every time we have an ultrasound.
Due date: May 8, 2025
How you found out: at first, I thought I had a cold and then I was sick because I was very congested and I kept throwing up but it felt like different vomiting and different congestion so I got some over-the-counter congestion meds took only two pills. It didn’t work and decided because I kept vomiting and couldn’t stop to take a pregnancy test, as soon as I instantly solid was positive, so I made an appointment for a pregnancy clinic And had it confirmed.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I told you guys about my kids I do have a dog. His name is Jedi. I’ve been too sick to work except maybe three Saturdays a month I’ve been really sick and really weak and on top of the pregnancy. I’m having major health issues and diagnosis and it makes it really hard to get by every day with no family and no close friends around no one to lean on I’m by myself things I love to do listen to music be outdoors when I feel good out on a date with my man enjoy time with my kids, Church crocheting and streaming on TikTok, making friends and growing my business on TikTok .
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Oh boy, how am I feeling physical symptoms? My body hurts. I’m uncomfortable. I’m tired. I’m constantly every single day seven days a week no matter what time needing to vomit through at times I’m really hungry, but I still rule myself to eat a small meal and there are other times I have to force myself to eat, makes me vomit, emotionally, drained, overtired, overstimulated, depressed, anxious, angry, frustrated, lonely, letdown hurt more just can’t think

I have been exhausted and nauseated for the past 2 weeks or so now. I unfortunately cannot drink any coffee because it makes the nausea worse so the exhaustion is all the more real.
My husband and I have two girls that are almost 5 and almost 7. We finally got married this summer and we knew we wanted to try for another. He’s an audio/visual designer and works with music artists like Mya, Flume, Modest Mouse, etc. Producing their stage visuals and often touring with them.
Also still kind of shocked. I honestly thought I was done. I LOVE babies, but toddlers are hard.
My nausea and food aversion are STRONG this time around. And I'm burping CONSTANTLY!

Hi everyone, I’m 26 and this is my first baby!
Due date: 5/22
I was suspicious when my boobs started hurting more than normal period aches and on the day I was supposed to start my period, I took a pregnancy test and it was very positive.
