    @kmtz89 me too! Baby boy has been dancing on my bladder and he feels totally low! I have a scan next week and plan to ask!

    @strongishmom agree! I got to have mine icy cold and it was not bad at all! I got it down fast and luckily didn’t have much reaction to it, I got really worked up about it ahead of time but it ended up being ok!

    Mine is on Monday and they told me ahead of time there are 3 flavor options: orange, lime, or punch. Sounds like lime is the way to go??

    @fk18 I would do lime! Orange would probably be ok but I feel like punch would be like… extra sticky Koolaid 😂

    I just took mine on Thursday (passed! Phew!) didn’t know I had a choice. They gave me the lime. I don’t drink sugary drinks so I thought it was like a treat for me haha. They did give me 5 mins to drink all of it, so be prepared for that.

    Just did my 3 hr yesterday.  My results posted today and I passed!  I didn't have an option on flavor any of the times I had to do it and just had lime.  I honestly don't think it's that bad but I know my cousin had a really hard time with it and with her 2nd almost didn't finish it in time.  This 2nd time baby boy was dancing like crazy from the sugar lol.

    @kmtz89 YES!  At my Friday appointment, the PA said that she wouldn't be surprised if right now this one is close to being the size my daughter was when she was born and we still have 2+ months to go!  She was small (6lbs 3oz) and I can definitely tell that he's bigger because it's getting harder to do things but now I'm worried about how big he's going to get.

    @kmtz89 yes and yes, but also no! I know the next few months are going to fly by, especially because I’m planning so many things so far in advance - November is basically already accounted for 😂 it’s a weird time warp feeling.

    I had the realization just the other day as i was reviewing notes from my last apt at the end of Sept where my Dr said we could need (because of hypertension) to induce as early as 37 weeks and it hit me that this baby could very well be here before Christmas  :#

    @kmtz89 hopefully baby can "cook" as long as possible.  Did you had hypertension before or did it start with the pregnancy?  I have had it for the past 5 years and it took me a while to find a medication that worked and that I could also take while pregnant.  Which sucks because there aren't that many.

    I have had the feeling that this one is going to be early for most of the pregnancy so I might be in the same boat as you.  They haven't talked about induction or scheduling a c-section yet but I also haven't seen the doctor since the anatomy scan at 21 weeks.  At my last appointment, the PA did say that my blood pressure this time around has been amazing thankfully.  It wasn't terrible with my daughter but it was a little raised and inconsistent the whole time.  She was a week early due to issues related to hypertension so I know that it is still a concern the closer we get to the due date.

    @kamays54 Basically when I went in for my first apt found out I was hypertensive. I had no idea previously, so they have been treating it as pre existing. I am on aldomet and baby aspirin and monitoring twice daily at home. but I feel like its been creeping up recently which of course gives me more anxiety about all of it. 

    I've also spent probably way too much time reading peoples stories on reddit and such about needing to deliver early/risks of pre -e and such ... we will see what my Dr says at my next apt in 2 ish weeks

    @kmtz89 I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry too much about it.  The fact that you and your doctor are aware and monitoring so closely is a good thing.  You can make adjustments if it keeps creeping up. 

    It is tough though because you want to know what the possible scenarios are so you can either be prepared or ask questions but then you just get more anxious about it.  I don't know if this will ease your mind a little bit but my first was born early because my amniotic fluid was low at my 39 week appointment.  They said that it could be from the hypertension but I am also terrible about drinking water so it could have also been that.  The only other "issue" was my daughter was on the small side.  But the whole pregnancy she was following her growth curve so they didn't have any real concerns.  And she is perfectly healthy and growing they way she should be.

    @kamays54 thanks for that, it is reassuring in a sense. Just trying not to get too stuck in my head about it.

    I got a bunch of bug bites on my trip to Puerto Rico and I’m worried that they’re the bad kind of sand flea from the beach - there weren’t really any mosquitoes where we were, and the bites are all over my legs! But I think there’s no way to tell other than waiting it out to see if they get better in a few days, so I haven’t reached out to my doctor yet about it. I just googled whether topical hydrocortisone is ok to use to control the itching (the internet says yes). I’m just freaking out a little bit!
