How you found out: concieving my first baby I went through two years of infertility. Through this I became VERY attuned to my body. This will be my third. I had felt some very uncomfortable pinching a couple days ago and knew it wasn't ovulation pain cause I already had that a little over a week prior and this just felt different. Just in case I tested and saw squinters. The next day I did a digital and probably have done 15 since. Every pregnancy I've had to try for, never thought I would get an oopsie.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Electrician by trade. Two other kids and loads of animals. Goats, chickens, cats, dogs
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Excited. In disbelief. Worried.
Introduce yourself: hi, I’m Erin and I’m 37 years old, so old in fertility years! I’ve been experiencing unexplained infertility for 2 1/2 years, and have had 3 miscarriages in the process. I’m hoping to hang here and see it out!
Due date: May 4, 2025
How you found out: I really have struggled with “feeling pregnant” because I have been on Letrozole, so my TWW changes month to month! So I started my usual pregnancy test routine at 10 dpo, and got a squinter yesterday at 12 dpo. Today I got clearer lines, so progression is making me feel better. With infertility and multiple miscarriages, the excitement of finding out becomes anxiety, so no real “exciting” way to find out. lol. I was falling asleep driving Wednesday night, then was smelling things no one else smelled, so I was hopeful! Then of course the anxious tears seeing the positive!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) my husband works for a local university. He teaches calculus 2 and runs their tutoring center/student support. I am a 6th grade science and social studies teacher. I’ve been teaching for 12 years, and summer ended 2 weeks ago for me! We have a 4 year old son who was born right at the beginning of COVID. I was fortunate enough to have my mom and husband in the room during childbirth… those restrictions started right after I was discharged. I love to read and crochet!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Just exhausted and the occasional smell that is super sensitive (perfumes are it right now). My boobs are just starting to get sensitive, and I am nauseous at times, but I’m thinking the nausea is anxiety. 😬 who knows?!
@ejoseph16 what a wild ride of pregnancies you have had! Hopefully in the next few weeks the anxiety can lessen and you can have the joyful pregnancy you deserve! 36 here, gonna be 37 by the due date! If there is a good group of us AMA gals we might do a weekly Check In. Pregnancy is so different at this stage sometimes!
Introduce yourself: I’m Katie from Indiana and I’m 28! My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in June and then decided to start trying after that.
Due date: May 5, 2025
How you found out: Started to have weird symptoms like an insane sense of smell and thought something was definitely up! I was smelling people’s sunscreen while passing them 10 feet away at the Farmer’s Market lol! It was so weird. And then I took a easy @home test and saw the line. Took another one and my husband did the control to be sure and there was still a line. And then we did a Clear Blue to be 100% and all said pregnant. I’m 12 DPO :)
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This will be our first baby! Super nervous but excited! I am a marketing manager and love to work on our house, be outside and hang out with our little kitty.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Feeling pretty good, just lots of back pain right now and my boobs have been pretty sensitive. Nothing else too crazy yet!
@gravcass yeah I’m honestly so over this journey at this point! I hope this is my take home baby and we can just be done! I’m hopeful, but I monitor line progression obsessively and I still haven’t pulled a pregnant on a regular clear blue digital at 15dpo, so I’m a little anxious right now. But yes, an AMA group would be great!
Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Kassandra, from Ontario Canada!
Due date: May 8th 2025
How you found out: My husband I have been trying for about 9 months so I def jump the gun on testing and found out before my missed period!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 3 boys already! We will be team green for this pregnancy! Ultimately hoping for a healthy baby regardless of their sex! We will be happy either way.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?
Im feeling very excited, no symptoms really other than cramping so far.
How you found out: I can relate already to a few of you, as we’ve gone through similar experiences. My husband, Blake and I have been trying for a year, this is my 3rd pregnancy this year after 2 miscarriages. So of course I took a test early (negative) first day of missed period (negative) then day of my annual physical on Monday (positive)! The doctor did a urine test that came out negative though, so you bet I got the lab work done he ordered asap and it confirmed positive, as did my at home test today! So rather than waiting to get excited until we know everything is ok like we did for the last two, I’m ready to celebrate and talk about it right away, hopeful this will stick!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
Im a marketing manager and our “firstborn” is an English bulldog named Buoy who is just over a year old. My husband and I love traveling, being on and around the water (sailing, swimming, time at the beach), trying our local restaurants, and decompressing with our favorite streaming show and wine (or the special mocktails he concocts for me when I’m pregnant).
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?
I have been feeling tired and crampy/slight unsettled stomach, but emotionally all over the place. I want to see my OB asap and anxious that I won’t be able to schedule soon enough to “throw everything at” this pregnancy like she promised, itching to see a viable little blueberry on the ultrasound, ready to share the good news with every expectation that this one will go well, but still so scared it will just be more of the same heartbreak and physical pain. Glad to have a community on here who can relate!
Ladies, I think I’m out. My HCG from Monday came back at a 6, started spotting yesterday, and today I got a negative pregnancy test. Best of luck to you all!
Introduce yourself: I’m Aliza, 33, artist and small business owner in Charleston, SC.
Due date: May 15
How you found out: My husband and I have been married 10 months now, and this was our second month trying. This month, immediately following ovulation day, I just felt different. Very sore breasts daily, fatigue, and the past 6 days or so, nausea. 3 days ago I took an early test because I was hoping I made it to day 10 after ovulation, and it was positive! I took one again each morning since and the line just keeps getting darker and darker! It’s my first, and I keep checking every morning in disbelief and excitement!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a 7 year old chocolate lab who will be the best big brother. We like to go to the beach, the gym, local markets, and travel.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I feel nauseous pretty bad in the mornings already. A tender pressure in my lower belly as well. And intense fatigue. But overall very excited! It’s just been really hard not to share this news with anyone and I think that is giving me a little bit of anxiety!
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Jenny from Maryland and my husband and I just got married in June after 5 years together. I’m 36, he’s 52, and after one month of trying… I am pregnant. I’m in total shock. I was fully prepared for this to take a while and had time/age anxiety. This is my first, he has one grown daughter from a previous marriage and is dying to be a dad again. Due date: May 13th. I started having lower back cramps a few days ago and knew my period was coming. Kept checking, and nothing. I’ve been super bloated the last week and even commented to my husband we needed to cut back on food 😂 another thing, I’ve had really out of character underarm odor. Like gross. But I chalked it up to old shirts I was wearing.
We both have our own businesses and work from home with our two standard poodles. I currently have zero friends who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant (they’re all older and done lol) so I’m looking for support and connection! We don’t have any family that live in our state, so this will be a pretty independent journey for us.
Hi, I’m Taylor from Canada. I am 28, a teacher, and my due date (I think) is May 11.
This is my first pregnancy and I got pregnant on my honeymoon on the very first try. We truly felt like it would take much longer to get pregnant so we are extremely shocked and excited.
I don’t even know why I took a pregnancy test. I hadn’t missed a period yet. Just call it mother’s intuition I guess… haha. I felt a bit off and next thing I knew I was staring at two lines! I am 15 DPO today.
My symptoms so far have been mostly fatigue and congestion and a bit of nausea in waves.
I’m feeling extremely anxious. I’m struggling with feeling like it’s too good to be true and the wait for the first doctor’s appointment is stressing me out. I haven’t had my HCG levels tested or anything and so I feel like I haven’t accepted that this is real yet. I feel trapped by the anxiety and like I will never escape it for the rest of my life now! I’m so overwhelmed by all of the sad posts about miscarriage and chemical pregnancies and child loss and I feel like I’m desperately craving some stories of healthy successful first time pregnancies. I need some positivity on my feed!
Hi, I’m Rebecca. I am 25 years old. Due with my second on May 7th. I currently work remotely part-time while being at home with our almost two year old daughter. I took a test after being late for a few days and found out we were pregnant. My husband and I were looking forward to growing our family so this was very exciting! We have two cats at home who are probably a little terrified of having another little one running around the house.
We seem to take a bit of a non-traditional approach to pregnancy. We shared the news with our immediate family (and even some friends) when we had just found out at 4 weeks along. We did the same with our first and I’m glad we were able to share our whole journey with the people we felt comfortable sharing with.
Besides needing a little extra rest, I have been feeling good. I never posted on the birth month club for my daughter as I felt I was second guessing everything as a first time mom. Hoping that being a part of this group can be a bit of encouragement to anyone who is like that, reading all the posts but not joining in.
Hi everyone, I'm Julie. I'm 35, and live in Canada. Right now our guess date is May 11.
My husband and I have an 18 month old son and this will be our second baby. We were aiming to start trying for a second one in the new year, but then I started feeling some of the same symptoms I did with my first (waking up crazy early, implantation cramping, a bit of sciatica pain, and extreme fatigue), took a test, and here we are!
We are artsy people, involved in theatre, film production, and the comedy scene. I teach arts education to little kids (and have only been back at work since April) and he is primarily a director/writer.
In our free time we like exploring outside - our 18 mth old loves being outdoors - watching comedy, and cooking. I'm curious (nervous?) to see how I keep up with my toddler if this pregnancy continues to progress. He's already pretty speedy and mischievous.
I was lurking for a bit because I haven't had my initial doctors appointment and feel like I need that and the dating ultrasound to feel confident in first trimester. But I'm also trying to let myself be more excited than anxious this time around! So, hello!
Brand new to all of this, but looks like we're estimating for around May 10.
My husband and I spent 5 years trying not to conceive, but now we have our feet under us I saw an OB 2 weeks ago to try and see what our chances look like. Everyone in my family struggled with fertility issues and I assumed it would be the same for us. Turns out we don't have nearly as much time to prepare as we expected! He's over the moon and would raise an army if I let him.
This will be our first, and I've spent the last 5 hours that we've known for sure trying to dig up every resource available. 8 months to go sounds like so much time, doesn't it?
Wholeheartedly looking for every scrap of advice anyone is willing to toss my way! No morning sickness yet, but we're barely past 4 weeks so that's no surprise!
Hello wonderful people! I'm Meridith, I'm 30, I live in Chicago.
Due date: May 19
How you found out: I am impatient. They took out my IUD almost three weeks ago, and we started trying the next day. I spent the next two weeks with really sore breasts, which is usual for me. A few days before my period was due, I took a bunch of early pregnancy tests, and they came back positive.
My husband was on a business trip out of town, returning that day. So I met his taxi on the street, brought him a huge bouquet of purple dahlias, and showed him the test :)
Tell us about yourself: If all goes well, this will be our first child! My husband and I moved here from NYC to have a little more room to raise kids, but I wanted to get settled in a new career first. Now that I've been a software engineer for a while (he is, as well), we decided it was a good time.
How are you feeling: Physically, same as always. Emotionally, so excited. I love love love kids. But I also don't 100% feel like it's real yet.
And I feel very happy and grateful to meet all of you ♥
@ofcatsandcritters hello fellow Minnesotan! Looking forward to our spring babies! My first was born in October just as the cold set in and it made walks outside with a newborn a bit trickier. Hoping we will have some nice weather with these little ones. A quick walk outside for some fresh air can definitely be a game changer with a newborn!
Introduce yourself: I’m Kimberly from Maryland and I am 26 years old.
Due date: May 9th I think!
How you found out: This is my second baby and it took about a year for our first. So we have been trying for about 8 months and this month I missed my period which has happened before. But I started getting other symptoms and light cramping that reminded me of when I was pregnant with my son. So I took a test and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I are both teachers and we have an almost 2 year old son. I love to read and we are big movie watchers. We are also both currently in school getting our masters degrees.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?
A little nauseous mostly and very tired! My son was a preemie due to placental abruption at 31 weeks so as excited as I am, I’m also feeling a bit nervous this time around. Hoping all goes well!
I had a placental abruption as well with my last one. Fortunately they caught it and he was term, but yeah it was scary. Let's have some smooth births this go around!
Introduce yourself: Hi all! My name is Ashley, 34 and from Long Island, NY.
Due date: app says May 18th
How you found out: We were not exactly trying yet, but I stopped my birth control a few months ago to regulate my cycle. I felt off and really tired. Took a test and it was positive. And then took 5 more lol
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I am engaged and due to get married next year. I have a daughter and a step son. I am a substance abuse nurse case manager for a community clinic. For fun I like trying new restaurants, bowling, watching tv, and listening to podcasts or audio books. (I’m kinda boring) lol I also have the most adorable chiweenie named Loki who we love to pieces. How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I feel good, other than tired. Doesn’t feel real yet honestly lol
Introduce yourself: Hi Everyone! My name is Sarah, I am currently 35 and live in Ontario, Canada
Due date: May 15th (according to an online calculator)
How you found out:
My husband and I have been TTC for a little over a year now. I tested about 3 days before my period was supposed to start and had a negative result. When I was then 4 days late, I tested again and had a positive! I then tested the following two days and each day had a deeper coloured line and a quicker result appear.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
If all goes how we hope, this will be our first child. My husband and I are coming up on our 8th wedding anniversary next month (October). For numerous reasons, one of the most recent being a health related Doctor recommendation, we had held off on TTC. Once we were given the go head last summer for me to stop with my birth control, I was very excited and hopeful that we would see quick results. In June, we started to use ovulation strips and now that we had passed over the year mark that our doctor has said to try for before looking into further options, I had just started to look at getting an appointment of the books to see them, but then I got my positive strip result.
I work in an admin support related role and my husband is in the hospitality industry. I love books and he enjoys video games, it works out well for us as we can sit on the couch together and separately enjoy our pastimes. We're big travellers and I am hoping we'll be able to continue exploring as a family of three. I also enjoy staying active, right now that looks like hikes/walks, spin classes and mat fitness.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?
Overall have been feeling pretty good. I've felt a few things and then caught myself thinking that "Oh! It's a symptom!"and then being a little unsure of how much is a normal amount and how much is pregnancy related. So far I've found I've been tired and I feel like I go from not hungry to I need a snack really quickly. Also, my leg muscles have been very tender all week. I did a spin class on Monday and I was mindful and didn't push myself as much as previous classes. Normally I'd find the next day there could be some muscle soreness, but this is now 3 days removed and they are tender, like I brush my arm against my leg while walking and it stings. My assumption is my muscle recovery has slowed down as my body puts more focus on other tasks.
Emotionally, I am incredibly excited with a dash of nervousness. We've wanted this for so long and to be on the right path now is amazing. I actually haven't told my husband yet, his team at work has a lot going on right now and he's been stepping in to support, so I decided I'd wait and tell him after he was done work for the week. I am shocked that I've been holding this information in for this long though and I totally expect him to mention his surprise that I managed to wait haha!
Introduce yourself: I’m Lara, 38, from PA. We’ve had unexplained infertility for years (we were doing the not NOT trying until about 35, then tracking, then finally to the doctor and here we are). We did three unsuccessful medicated cycles after which we started IUI. This is the second IUI. My husband posits that perhaps I had a little goalie living in there and preventing it from happening the more natural way since this is my first pregnancy.
Due date: May 19
How you found out: During past cycles, I tested a bit earlier than my scheduled blood test just so I would have an idea what to expect. It was getting a touch depressing so I didn’t bother this cycle. I got a call at 3:00 just as I got on a work conference call. I let it go to voicemail but couldn’t wait. I looked at the vm transcription and saw POSITIVE and CONGRATULATIONS. Needless to say, getting through that work call was the hardest thing I’ve done to date.
Tell us about yourself: I’m an attorney. No other kids, but my husband and I do have two dogs: a Keeshond and an Olde English Bulldog. The Kees has congestive heart failure so that’s been a little stressful. We love walking around town with the bulldog (he also loves seeing all the people out). I generally enjoy very mindless activities like cross stitch since my job is a touch demanding (I’ll 100% be arguing cases in appellate court at 8 months pregnant).
How are you feeling: Bloated and sooo tired. I’ve also noticed some acid reflux so that’s fun. My thought process seems a little more chaotic than usual.
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Amy. 35. Live in NJ with my husband. We sold our house in May, and are living with friends while we build our next home. so this pleasant ooopsie we were not quite prepared for.
Due date: 3/15 (to be confirmed by doctor still)
How you found out: I historically have a short cycle- 25 days on average, and rarely ever goes longer then 27… so after 2 weeks of what I thought was normal cramps and total exhaustion I determined Flo was not actually making it this month… on day 30 the test confirmed. First appointment booked for 10/10
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) no other kids, no pets currently (out doggo passed last year), my husband and I both work for our local healthcare system. We like to camp, hike, travel, go to random cities to explore.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Physical- I have been having every single symptom.. sore, growing boobs, cramps, a little gi discomfort, nauseous, bloated, nightmares, restlessness, not sleeping well, anxiety, headaches. Today all of it seemed to calm down. I hope it stays
Introduce yourself: hello! I am Sami, 29, this is my fifth pregnancy. I have three beautiful daughters 10,7,8 months. This was a but unexpected but we were hoping to have another in the next two years.
Due date: May 15
How you found out: very regular periods following the birth of my youngest. Went about 2 days past my period which never happens…
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I work in a funeral home, 3 daughters, 1 dog. We are living in an apartment (2 bed 1 bath) as we wait for our renovation house to be finished…it was supposed to be done before my youngest was born…hvac almost met me at my place of work for delaying as much as they did. But such is life. Hoping to have the house done by this winter with plenty of time to get settled in before this pregnancy is over.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I am stressed-I’m about 5 weeks but my hcg seems so low (71), just had another round of labs today. So praying they double. Otherwise, I am excited.
Hii all I am 33 , first time mother to be from India , haven’t shared this my family yet, I mean except my husband . But wanted to talk n share with other momys out there , like a community. So glad to be here .
Due date: May 14 2025
How you found out:
I did Urine Pregnancy Test , 2 days before my expected period date . Got a faint line , so couldn’t believe.. Then I directly went for HCG levels testing on 3rd day after my missed period . They were high ,, so yeah its real I think 😃.
Tell us about yourself:
I am a paediatrician, jeez so I am kinda scared about all the diseases, you know .. Just hoping that everything turns out to be ok .. I am on lil over weight side , so trying to rectify my habits , planning to be lil more active . I dont have any pets and my husband is engineer ☺️.
How are you feeling: scared , excited , wanna do it all in the right way 😅.
Introduce yourself: Hi all! My name is Shakirah (yes like the singer lol) and I'm 33 years old, residing in the small state of South Carolina.
Due date: May 15th, 2025 🤗
How you found out: I found out I was pregnant, because my Samsung smartwatch kept alerting me of my late period. I ignored it for 3 days, because sometimes I'm late by a couple of days and it seriously felt like AF was going to start any day AND I didn't want to get my hopes up. The day before I tested, my husband brought home some chicken and I remember smelling it so vividly as if it was right under my nose but it was in a whole different room lol. So, the next morning (3 days late) while he was working I instacarted a first response test and got my BFP! 🥹
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm a mother to two other babies, a ten year old daughter and a nine year old son. Not quite babies anymore, but will always be to me! We have a seven year old Akita named Yoko, she is extremely funny and so full of personality. I work from home in customer service for a health insurance company, been doing that for about 3 years now. I'm also a writer of young adult and children's books, it's one of my passions! My husband owns a moving company and is also a certified mechanic. This is our first baby together, but he also blessed me with six incredible bonus kids! ❤️ we have been trying for about two years for our little nugget and the road has been a rough one, I suffered a MMC in January so this pregnancy was quite a surprise because we gave up on really "trying", but we feel blessed!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I'm feeling so many emotions. Excited, nervous, terrified. Physically, I have some soreness to my nipples. Acne has been crazy and my skin so oily, especially when I wake up. Some mild cramping, lots of trips to the bathroom and it's always worse at night. Fatigue throughout the day, hot flashes, and dry mouth. So emotional! If I'm not crying then I'm snappy and (TMI) but so gassy, it's ridiculous lol. The kids don't know just yet, so they think mommy is just this gross walking bag of gas 😂🤷🏾♀️. Even though I named all of those symptoms the anxiety inducing part is that some days I won't have these symptoms at all and that freaks me out! I'm just trying my best to stay positive and in the moment, taking each day one at a time until I can see this beautiful nugget on October 3rd! 🙏🏿🤞🏿
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Laura. I live in SW Washington. I’m 38 and this is my first pregnancy.
Due date: May 4
How you found out: we’ve been trying for over a year and we’re working through the battery of fertility testing. My period is pretty regular but every few months it likes to wait an extra day so I thought that’s what was happening this time. I even texted my friend to complain about it. Took a test the next morning and two pink lines!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I live with my husband and our two chihuahua mixes. I’m an accountant, so I accidentally timed this pregnancy very well to be in my second tri at year end. My husband and I are very active - we play hockey, lift weights, and do jiu jitsu. He is also a high school wrestling coach. I’ve stopped playing hockey, and I’m still figuring out how to modify my other activities (don’t worry, I’m only doing light grappling drills with my husband, nothing full out!) I’m also a huge book nerd.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Physically I feel pretty good. A lot of breast tenderness and some moderate queasiness. Emotionally I’m doing pretty well, obviously pretty nervous since this is my first time. I’m really excited but trying not to get too excited in case something goes wrong. It feels hard to live in the in between where very few people know about it but my entire life has changed.
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Amie! I’m 37 and this is my first pregnancy!
Due date: May 2, 2025
How you found out: We decided to get off of birth control in July, assuming it could take us a few months (or even longer) to get pregnant. I bought a box of pregnancy tests in late August before my missed period and decided to take one just for the heck of it (assuming it would be negative) and surprise! It was positive!
Tell us about yourself: My husband Nathaniel and I are both teachers in the Kansas City Missouri area. We have an orange tabby cat named Oliver.
How are you feeling: I’ve been very nauseous since I hit the 6 week mark. Thankfully I’m staying hydrated, but most days I am nauseous all day and throw up at least once. Emotionally, I’m a little anxious that my “morning” sickness won’t stop after the 1st trimester. And I guess I’m also anxious about all the unknowns and potential risks since I’m “older”.
Tell us about yourself: I’m 27 and this is my first pregnancy my husband and I were in the mindset if it happens it happens and well I guess here we are.
How are you feeling: I feel pretty nervous, I know your first pregnancy can be high risk for loss and I already feel as if that would be devastating. I’m thankful for everyday because that means I’m farther along. Looking forward to my first OB appointment and hoping to hear their heartbeat.
37 here as well! This is my third and from what I've read the risks don't really increase dramatically. From experience the morning sickness never went away completely but it decreased SIGNIFICANTLY by 2nd tri. Then the heartburn sets in 🤣 my due date got moved to the 2nd so hello due date buddy!
Hi all. I’m Annie from Montreal. I just turned 40. This is my 4th pregnancy. I have two children. 3 and 5.
Due date: May 13.
In March, I had a missed miscarriage. So I’m fairly nervous. I had a tiny bit of spotting at week 4 this pregnancy so I’m even more nervous. My HCGs looked great at 5 weeks. I have an ultrasound on Friday and I’m really nervous. I’ve been lurking here and hesitated posting and introducing myself. But I would like the support either way.
Symptoms: boobs hurt. Constant peeing. Trouble sleeping and waking early. Getting winded when I go up the stairs.
Also, I had hyperemesis with my first two, and I’m not nauseous yet so that adds to my anxiety. Overall, I’m a stress ball right now.
Hi I’m Nay from Tallahassee Florida I’m 35 this is my 8th Pregnancy I have 7 beautiful children 17,15,13,11,10,8,4 so this isn’t new to me lol we are excited to welcome our new little one
Due date : May 22nd currently
We found out bc I didn’t see my cycle lol so took a test and it was positive only symptom so far is fatigue
Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Kimberly!! 33 years old and have been trying for almost one year.
Due date: May 27th.
How you found out: I started waking up really hot for a few days and really early. Tested two days before my period was due at 5:45 in the morning!
Tell us about yourself: This will be our first 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 My spouse Dylan is 32. We love biking together and doing anything outdoors(too many to list!) We have a cat named Nala
How are you feeling: Nauseous if I don’t eat on time. Otherwise just excited but scared to get to that first appointment.
Introduce yourself: Hi! I'm Kelsa! I'm 4 months from being 40 and live in Missouri, USA!
Due date: per the app and last day of my last period 05/25/2025
How you found out: I was sitting here at work like every other day (this was yesterday) and realized my always on time Flo was not here yet - My PreMom app said I was 5 days late so I tested immediately. That Red Test Line had no mercy!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I work from home for an Insurance Broker! My 6yo daughter and I live with my partner and his youngest kiddos!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Emotionally I'm a mess. I had a positive test in early February but had my first miscarriage in April. I hemorrhaged and wound up in the ER and spent a week in the hospital due to my hemoglobin tanking again.(as i did with my daughter when i delivered her). I'm getting to be a pro at blood infusions, sadly ha. I'm really trying not to get too excited until I hear a heartbeat. My first appointment is tomorrow for a blood draw and set up my first OB Appointment. I'm not having many symptoms yet, I'm also trying to ignore to not get too excited.
Introduce yourself: Hi I'm Jo-Jo and I'm located in Tennessee. I'm 41 and I'm a yoga therapist & yoga teacher. While this isn't my 1st pregnancy (an abortion at 26 and a miscarriage at 39 while in grad school), this is the first one I'm choosing to start a family with my long-term partner and soon-to-be husband. This will be my first child and I'm excited to be an old mom! While I may not have all the energy I will have the wisdom to guide my child with awareness. Besides that, I'm also a musician and writer, and I just finished grad school in July. I have a dog & a cat, and a whole lot of plants! I used to be a touring musician for several years but these days I prefer to play music at home or casual jams with friends around the fire. I love the outdoors and being in nature, and I love paddleboarding and being on the water. I work as a clinical yoga therapist at a rehab and I also teach yoga teacher training programs and continuing education for yoga teachers.
Due date: 05/10
How you found out: we planned to start working on a conceiving in August. Being older I thought it may take some time and we even decided that if we don't conceive in 1-2 years we'd look into adopting. I used an basic ovulation kit in August and followed the instructions as to the best chances to convince. My period is like clockwork, so after not feeling like my period was coming, my breasts feeling exceptionally tender, and my period not arriving within its typical 2-day window I figured to take a pregnancy test so I knew if I should bring tampons with me to work or not.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Upon writing this I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant and I'm feeling it! My breasts have grown a whole cup size already (WTF?!) and continue feeling tender. I feel absolutely exhausted lately and have been experiencing mild morning sickness mainly dizziness, lightheadedness, some indigestion and feelings of nausea but no actual vomiting. I've also been feeling emotionally very happy and ecstatic... even overwhelmed with happiness at moments like today when I had to have a small cry of joy. Other than that, I'm super excited to grow this little bean in me and meet my baby in May!
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone my name is Lili I’m 24 years old and live in the west coast! Total mountain girly, hikes walks and anything outdoors is my absolute favorite!
Due date: may 12th
How you found out: I had actually just got home from my bachelorette party and was feeling completely off! To low and behold have a notification pop up from my period tracker app that I was indeed three days late and to test!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I recently married my high school sweetheart on September 14th! We have one beautiful boy and cannot wait to add more to our family! We have two cats, Tigger and Stormy and a dog named Dante (from the Disney movie coco)! I have my medical assistant degree and plan to go back to school to further my education to become a rn!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I honestly feel so much better than my first pregnancy the only real symptom I have is sore and tender breast’s! My first pregnancy the morning sickness was horrible! I however am experiencing restless legs already and am struggling to sleep so any tips you have I’d love! So nice to meet other mommies expecting so close together!!
Hey there, I'm Britteny! I'm 34, and I live in New England. This is #3 for my husband and I, we have two lovely girls already (3 and 1).
So far I'm feeling excited and nervous, we are already in such a good flow with our current 2 that I'm nervous about changing the dynamic, but I felt the same way about #2 and she has added so much joy and light to our home that I know it will all be OK in the end.
I've started getting a few mild waves of nausea, but it's been manageable so far. I'm feeling like I have to pee every 10 minutes, but other than that pretty good so far.
My estimated delivery day happens to be our 11th anniversary together, which is a fun surprise. #1 was 2 days early, and #2 was 10 days late, so we'll see what happens.
Re: Introductions!
36 here, gonna be 37 by the due date! If there is a good group of us AMA gals we might do a weekly Check In. Pregnancy is so different at this stage sometimes!
Looking forward to learning and growing together!
Hi I’m Kassandra, from Ontario Canada!
May 8th 2025
My husband I have been trying for about 9 months so I def jump the gun on testing and found out before my missed period!
I have 3 boys already! We will be team green for this pregnancy! Ultimately hoping for a healthy baby regardless of their sex! We will be happy either way.
excited to be apart of the May 2025 baby club!!
I can relate already to a few of you, as we’ve gone through similar experiences.
Im a marketing manager and our “firstborn” is an English bulldog named Buoy who is just over a year old. My husband and I love traveling, being on and around the water (sailing, swimming, time at the beach), trying our local restaurants, and decompressing with our favorite streaming show and wine (or the special mocktails he concocts for me
when I’m pregnant).
I need some positivity on my feed!
who are probably a little terrified of having another little one running around the house.
We seem to take a bit of a non-traditional approach to pregnancy. We shared the news with our immediate family (and even some friends) when we had just found out at 4 weeks along. We did the same with our first and I’m glad we were able to share our whole journey with the people we felt comfortable sharing with.
So, hello!
I'm Kitty, 28, from Minnesota.
And I feel very happy and grateful to meet all of you ♥
Due date: May 9th I think!
@knottie6f0aebe243633d9f
I had a placental abruption as well with my last one. Fortunately they caught it and he was term, but yeah it was scary. Let's have some smooth births this go around!
Due date: app says May 18th
How you found out:
We were not exactly trying yet, but I stopped my birth control a few months ago to regulate my cycle.
I had a placental abruption with my #2, resulted in an emergency c-section. Big hugs, mama.
Minnesotan here too! Excited to have a little heater attached to me this winter, lol.
Due date : May 22nd currently
We found out bc I didn’t see my cycle lol so took a test and it was positive only symptom so far is fatigue
Nice to meet everyone
ecstatic... even overwhelmed with happiness at moments like today when I had to have a small cry of joy. Other than that, I'm super excited to grow this little bean in me and meet my baby in May!
