How are you feeling?: Baby boy has been making himself heavy. I keep getting pressure down low (pelvic floor pressure I think). I notice it sometime when I stand up. I remember having it some with my first but I feel like it wasn't until the third trimester. I am also getting heartburn more often.
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend? Comedy. I like a lot of different genres but comedy is my go to. I haven't really had time for anything so I don't really have any recommendations that are new. I was really enjoying Ghosts (TV show) and I have an hour commute so I would listen to My Dad Wrote a Porno (podcast) on my drive but I finished that a couple months ago.

How are you feeling?: Good, have been feeling more pressure on my belly and and getting fatigued noticeably more easily, needing to not stand for as long of periods of time. Yesterday my husband and I were cleaning out our kitchen and my lower back just really started feeling sore. I went to our neighborhood pool later with a pool float and a book and it felt SO nice to take all weight/pressure off for a little bit.
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend? I'm a true crime girlie through and through, specifically with podcasts. Some recommendations are: Up and Vanished, The Deck, The Deck Investigates, Dirty John, Your Own Backyard, and Serial.

How are you feeling?: I toss and turn all night and its so annoying, it's like every time I get comfortable I need to pee. Or my arms fall asleep. But I feel like I'm finally just feelings like normal pregnant? If that makes sense...
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend? I feel like I don't have time for anything! But interested in other peoples answers here.
@kmtz89 I'm just the opposite. The heat has been brutal here and I feel like it's never ending. I can't wait for the cooler weather!

How are you feeling?:
pretty good minus a bout of the foulest gas I have ever had lol!
summer is winding down and next week I start DPPD before the school year begins. I’m honestly super excited for this year! It’s likely my last as a special ed para since I’m only 5 methodology courses away from student teaching and hoping to procure my licensure sometime mid next year. It’s also going to be so much less stress because, thanks to pregnancy, I cannot be placed with students with known aggressive behaviors. I’m great with those students, but I’m not going to lie, I’m looking forward to focusing on more academic interventions/accommodations and not spending most of my year covered in bruises and filling out incident forms.
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend?
Book wise, I love fantasy and horror themed smut. There’s a handful of us at my work that have an unofficial book club messenger group where we share and discuss our latest raunchy reads. I typically don’t disclose specific titles until I get to know someone’s spice level preferences, but in general I enjoy works by Ruby Dixon, Karina Halle, Ella Fields, and Kathryn Moon.

How are you feeling?: Feeling pretty good! Went for an intense hike on Sunday. I was huffing and puffing the whole way up the mountain but I am proud of myself for taking little breaks along the way. It felt SO GOOD to move my body and doing something hard. My back and hips are feeling a lot better this week too thankfully so movement feels more accessible.
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend? I am a big fan of fantasy books - I love escaping into another world
@bcml So fun! My husband is very into Brandon Sanderson and we've been reading the secret projects together (So far Tress, Yumi, and currently the Sunlit Man). The main series all are so long and intimidating, but I finally read Way of Kings in April and really liked it! I'm partway through the second book now, but have been way slower due to being distracted with baby stuff.

How are you feeling?: Pretty good! I am finally getting a few bursts of energy here and there which is much needed!! On the challenging side, lots of growing pains and stretching in my tummy - can be a bit uncomfortable at times.
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend?
Hmmmmm I am all about comedy, I can’t do the dark stuff or even the very serious stuff. I’m an extreme empath and I don’t do well with strife even on TV! I read a ton but so much that I couldn’t pick out one book to share because I read them all. I love Podcasts very much - Armchair Expert, Smartless, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.

GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend?
jumping on the comedy bandwagon. I have such a heavy job that I don’t have it in me to feel even more while being entertained hahaha. I do like integrating humor and real life/cultural topics, e.g.: Yo is this racist? (Podcast); Go Back to Where You Came from (Book)

How are you feeling?: Pretty good — much better than 1st tri. Sleep has been off and on and it’s so hard to get comfy in the night even with all of my preg pillows. I think taking magnesium before bed helps a bit though.
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend?
Sci-fi is my fave genre. I loved Foundation, loved Picard, and (of course) loved Dune.
I love a good psychological thriller or suspense for movies and TV (Memento, Fight Club, Nightcrawler, Lost, Dark to name a few favs). For podcasts, I'm all about comedy (Almost Friday, Bad Friends, This Past Weekend)

How are you feeling?: Decent! Truly the worst thing right now is this cold that's lasting forever. I'm so congested still
Actual rant: putting together a registry is so much work. @jaclyn-ak I feel you!
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend? Love this question! I do NOT do horror, but almost anything else. I tend towards shows that are lighter, but with heart; recent tv show that I loved is Shrinking on Apple+, and Parks & Recreation and The Good Place are two of my favorites. Go-to podcasts are Ologies by Alie Ward (good if you like science) and Pop Culture Happy Hour. In books, the Scholomance Series by Naomi Novik is an all-time favorite if you like fantasy. For sci-fi people, Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky was really interesting. I'm also an Emily Henry fan lol.

How are you feeling?: Mostly good, but just getting over a cold.
Rants/Raves: This might be a me thing, but I could not figure out how to treat my cold safely, so it took a while to go away.
Questions: NATM
GTKY: What’s your favorite content genre (horror, sci-fi, rom-com, etc.)? Anything (book, movie, TV show, podcast) you would like to recommend? True crime and horror, but I'm trying to cut back because I assume baby can feel what I feel while watching them, which is lots of anxiety.
Not a you thing with the cold! I think I tried most of the things I could to get over my cold safely, but didn't start them early enough. It was so miserable. Next time I’ll take extra zinc and vitamin C right away. None of the meds that are ok to take were very helpful, but saline nasal spray does help in the moment - I’m still using it right before I go to bed so I can breathe haha. Also, mucinex when the coughing started.
