  • Hi Aurélie, congratulations! My husband is half French and his favorite cousin is called Aurélie- such a beautiful name! Fingers crossed all goes well with our pregnancies. ❤️
  • Oh wow! My husband is a physicist in Oncology!
I have a master in business psychology.
We have a two year old boy born also via IVF after 7 years of trying.
I am due beginning of April! We are also in the USA.
Nice to meet all of you!
symptoms so far just fatigue and painful breast! Also some acid reflux for some reason, it seems early for that but!

  • Due date: My fiancé and I are trying to conceive.

How you found out: No luck yet :(

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I love hiking and anything outdoorsy. Books and jazz music are two of my fave forms of entertainment. Because I love the outdoors, my fiancé takes me to the park a lot and built me a beautiful deck in our back yard.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I am feeling sad, depressed, and inadequate. My fiancé and have been TTC for 8-months with no luck. I was pregnant 3-times back in college (14yrs ago) and despite no complications with the termination of those pregnancies I've never been pregnant again in all these years. I couldn't raise a kid then nor could I afford one. I was 18/19 in college trying to figure out life and chasing a guy who made it clear that he didn't want me. Fast fwd to current and I feel like God is punishing me for my poor childhood choices. I AM SO SORRY for my past decisions, had I known I'd be punished in this way I would have suffered through those pregnancies as a teen. My fiancé and I desperately want kids! We've had fertility testing and the Dr. says I have great AMH and FSH levels, my cycle is extremely regular (I've tracked it via an app for 11years now and its always spot on), and I ovulate consistently according to my BBT and monthly LH testing. My partner and I began using PreSeed July 15th, 2024 hoping for a pregnancy this cycle but I doubt we've been successful. My period is expected August 7th, 2024 and I'm experiencing my typical emotional H3LL and low back pain which is a tell-tale sign my period will be arriving as normally, another failure for me :( I want to give my fiancé a child so badly because he is so good to me, his face lights up anytime he talks about kids, and I just know it'll bring us even closer. I honestly feel like less of a woman. I feel like a failure!
  • Introduce yourself: Emma

    Due date: 4/5

How you found out:  We have been trying for 9-10 months so I was tracking my cycle. I had my period super early last cycle so I wasn’t sure when my period was coming. I took a test a day after I thought my period was late. Currently 5 weeks and still in shock I am pregnant. I was convinced that I would never be able to get pregnant.

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is my first pregnancy. My husband and I have been together for over 8 years, married for 5. We have two dogs and a cat. I love reading, puzzles, travel, working out, and listening to music.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Anxious, shocked, overwhelmed, grateful, happy, etc.  My symptoms have been mild nauseous here and there. Mostly it has been cramps, back aches, and mood swings. My boobs have definitely gotten bigger.
  • *lurking*

@knottie7120718b8975536e There is a separate board for trying to get pregnant that you might want to check out. It’s a really helpful board, especially if you have been trying for a while and are getting discouraged
  • Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Theresa

Due date: April 8th (still need to confirm with Dr.) Longest wait ever for that first appointment.

How you found out: Tracking and Early Result Test

Tell us about yourself:  I’m from the US, Pittsburgh PA and I’m an OR Nurse. We currently have a 14 year old daughter and 1 1/2 year old son. Had some struggles with miscarriages before our son and once since then TTC the past few months. Needless to say I’m a nervous wreck with the first trimester.  We have 3 fur babies (1 cat, & 2 Dogs) and they all knew before I did! They get very snuggly with me while I’m pregnant.

How are you feeling: Feeling pretty good! Chest is mildly sore and some nausea in the evenings but pretty mild so far. I was pretty emotional the week before I found out and thought it was just raging PMS 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣.
  • Intro: Hi, I’m B

    Due Date: April 12th

How you found out: Blood test after a successful IVF round.

Tell us about yourself: From the US. I am an attorney. My husband and I will be married 10 years this Fall. We have 3 boys — 7.5, 6, and 4yo. My husband and I are both 1 of 4 and have always wished for 4 children. This was our first time trying IUI and IVF, we had been trying since our littlest guy turned 1 — the boys are all close in age as you can see — but no luck. We started IUI a year+ ago and did 1 failed IVF before this successful round.

How are you feeling: I am VERY nervous/anxious, I’m older now (38) and have a lot more going on than with my older 3. I’m tired and the acne is like I’m in 9th grade again — that’s the only part making me feel young. We have only told my family so far — we see them very often and they’d be onto me if I declined a glass of wine with dinner — since it is so early and I am just so nervous. I was not this nervous with the others, as soon as I knew everyone I knew knew I was expecting.

Nice to meet you all, thanks for reading. I hope everyone has as good a pregnancy as can be — I tend to become very short with my loved ones, or so I am told :)

  • Introduction; Hi! I'm Cora Lenz :)

Due; I'm due on April 12th (3 days before my birthday)

Found out?: Found out with a test 3 days before my period. I always get period symptoms for the week before my period, so by halfway through the week I knew! We've been trying since May.

About me; No other kids, this is our first! Have a kitty named Holly. I'm a barista at a local coffee shop, and my husband works in construction. We're also renovating our first house currently! It's a big job and now there's a time limit on it because of baby haha.

Symptoms: I'm very tired and nauseous on and off but otherwise just very happy and a bit worried.

@b_lfn that's awesome! You're due the same day as me! 🎉
  • I have a lot of cramping as well! Makes me feel better that I am not alone… Nausea has also kicked in which is a good sign.
  • Hi I'm Kylie!
My due date as of now, is April 15th, still waiting for my first ultrasound/dr appt. though!

I am married and have a almost 3 year old daughter and a wiener dog. I currently stay at home with her during the week but she is about to start a daycare program. I am also trying to get potty training started asap!!

So far i'm feeling not too bad. I am happy that we were able to conceive with 2 tries. The first try ended up being a chemical pregnancy right after finding out I was pregnant but we were lucky enough to conceive a few weeks later!
I track my menstrual cycle etc and should be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow!
I have had REAL bad nausea already and cramping. Yesterday I experienced some GI related issues which is a first for me (very uncomfortable and a little scary)
I have anxiety disorder and my anxiety levels have been a bit higher than I'd like. Hoping that will pass.

I tested positive so early I feel like and with my early pregnancy symptoms starting immediantly it seems, i'm wondering if there's a possibility I am pregnant with TWINS. that would be...shocking haha. I am 31 and will be 32 when I give birth.
Anybody else having extreme early symptoms and wondering the same?

congrats to all the mommas out there by the way :)
  • Introduce yourself: Adina Findlay

    Due date: 4/9/2025

How you found out: We were trying and I tested SUPER early - saw the faintest positive 8 days post ovulation.

Tell us about yourself: 2 boys! 6 and 2 yr old. Electrical engineer. Husband is a stay at home dad ❤️

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Really started to struggle with nausea the last few days. It's nothing new for me in pregnancy (typically resolves around 12 weeks). But I'm trying everything I can and look to try even more to not be miserable all day every day 😭. Otherwise, this is our first truly planned baby and that has been a lot different for me and I'm keeping my joy and trying to keep perspective in the midst of these difficult symptoms.

@knottie1b92326b72809b91 My symptoms have been intense, and I had an early ultrasound due to pain and discharge and just one baby in there! I personally think symptoms can be stronger quicker with the second and third pregnancies. I'm already so nauseous and I'm not even 6 weeks yet 😭
  • I am pregnant with my second and just now 5 weeks. My early symptoms came EARLY. so much nauseau and heartburn which I didn't experience heartburn with my 1st. I had bad nausea with my 1st but I don't remember it coming on so fast. It's def made my mind wonder if it's twins or just because it's pregnancy # 2?
  • Introduce yourself: hi! I’m Allison

    Due date: April 14!

How you found out: we were doing IVF, so I tested out the trigger. Then I saw a faint line come back- then we had a blood test scheduled and it came back positive. We’ve had three positive blood tests with appropriate HCG rises now! So - accepting this may be really happening!

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have two children. I used to work in finance before staying home with the kids. My husband is a robotics engineer.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? A little nausea but manageable so far. Emotionally a little on edge- we have a history of loss and this pregnancy took a lot of effort to get to because I’m old (😂) so if this doesn’t make it, we made the decision to be grateful for the family we have. I typically get hyperemesis so I’m just waiting for that to hit, but doing relatively okay so far. Eating ALL the things with the assumption I won’t be able to enjoy food again for months 🤦‍♀️😂

    Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Lexi!

Due date: estimated 4/20 (waiting for my first appointment)

How you found out: my husband and I have been trying for about 2 years, and he has always paid close attention to my symptoms. He noticed my breast swelling and ran to get a test. Needless to say, he was right.

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 2 fur babies, one cat named bandit and an English bulldog named Smokey. Since finding out about the pregnancy me and my husband are speeding up our original moving plans. Luckily he owns his company and can work online, and I’m holding onto my job as a surgical technician until we do move.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? My mood swings are very touchy, I’m easily overwhelmed and overstimulated. Which is unfortunate due to is causing some arguments however other than that I’ve just been eating a lot and sleeping if I’m not working. Emotionally I’m nervous (first time parent) and I’m not sure how my family is going to react when I finally tell them.
  • Introduce yourself: hey all.  I’m B as well, 38 and from New England.

Due date: 4/25 based on ovulation

How you found out: we were visiting my dad for a few day during implantation window, so I was testing like a fool since we never get to tell him anything in person.  Very faint line on an amazon cheapie in the evening at 8dpo, clear positive on a FRER at 9dpo and positive on a digital at 10dpo.  We used the digital to tell my dad since it was the day before we flew out of town.

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) 2 boys already (12 and almost 3) and one 9yo Rhodesian ridgeback. I’m an IT support manager in a role that I am really loving. I was hired to start this division from the ground up about 16 months ago and it’s been pretty great so far.  In my “spare” time I’m either at the hockey rink for my older son or triathlon training.  My husband of 8 years is turning 37 on Monday. He’s in a construction field, coaches my oldest’s hockey team and plays on his own in a beer league, and also does triathlon.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I’ve been nauseous on and off for days, which feels really early to me.  I took the test at 8dpo due to the nausea.  My boobs have also been “heavy” and sore, or my nips have felt like they’re attacked by razor blades (my first symptom with my last two).  Emotionally I’m a bit of a mess. I have a thyroid condition which I suspect caused us to experience an early mc in December because I couldn’t get in to my endo to check my levels for a month after my positive.  I was able to get my thyroid levels checked today and she was able to update my medication that I’ll start tomorrow, so that should help ease some of my anxiety.  I was told not to go in for my first HCG until Saturday and the follow up on Monday, I’m hoping those results also help clear up the “I’m a mess” feeling.

  • Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Marissa :)

Due date: 04/29 (still need to tell my doctor but that’s based on my last period 😌)

How you found out: I was having pms symptoms and just decided to test and it was a faint line :)

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a nine month old daughter, 2 cats, + I’m a stay-at-home mom + a wife to the best husband 🫶🏽 I like to embroider, work out, + go on walks!

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I am hungry like every 2 hours 😂 cramping + so so tired. But other than that I’m so so happy + am so excited for our second!
  • Introduce yourself: Hello! My name is Lucy, I’m 32 and just found out I’m expecting baby #2. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Anthony. We have an almost 2 year old named Oliver, and our fur baby, Gus. We live in New England and met in Boston.

Due date: April 22, 2025 (April 22 is also my best friends birthday so I love that)

How you found out: We’ve been trying to conceive for a few months, our first son was a total accident. We were actively trying to not conceive and somehow ended up with a beautiful baby boy, truly a miracle child. It’s been a little bit different of a journey this go round since we knew we wanted another and I’m still managing my PCOS symptoms. I anm very happy to say that after four months TTC I took a pregnancy test today after being a few days late on my period and it was positive.

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job?
I work from home full time as a recruiter for a technology company.  I have an almost 2 year old son and a dog named, Gus.

Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
Garden, hike, yoga, travel, read (I love my book club nights!), cook, and enjoy time with my family.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I feel fine which is how I felt the first time around, I wouldn’t have guessed that I was pregnant unless I had been tracking my period and ovulation through an app. I’m hoping to stay this way in general throughout the rest of my pregnancy. Emotionally though I’m definitely a little anxious, excited, and already starting to think of a plan for baby. Those nesting instincts are strong!
  • Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m also B. I’m 36 and live in NC.

    Due date: 4/18

How you found out: First noticed my breasts were swelling, then 2 days of faint lines, then positive digital 3 days before missed period. We had been trying for 4 months.

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?). My husband and I have been together 12 years, married 3 years. No other kids, but our 2 dogs keep us busy. I work in public health.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Sore breasts, very bloated, cramping on and off, fatigue, and having waves of nausea and reflux. Emotionally a bit nervous but mostly excited!

Introduce yourself: hi! I’m Vanessa. I’m 36 and live in Orange County, CA

Due date: April 16th but will most likely be induced a week early because my two older daughters were 9lbs & 10lbs

How you found out: it was a huge surprise - took a test because my period was late!

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) we have two daughters, Natalie (8) and Claire (4) - been married for 12 years. We love to travel the world with our kiddos so hopefully we can keep that up with this new babe 🤗 I’m a teacher turned SAHM mom when my older daughter was born.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Feeling totally normal other than some sore boobs…6 weeks is shortly and if history repeats itself I will start feeling naseous and sick then!
  • I’m Victoria. I’m due April 15 2025. I found out because my period was late and I took a test but didn’t believe it at first so took another a few days later and then got a blood test to confirm.
I don’t tell any personal stuff online because social media and forums can’t be trusted. I’m feeling tired mostly. The morning sickness is barely there because I take vitamin b6 and unisom every day and I am currently 6 weeks and it’s working great. This is my 3rd baby. I have no miscarriages or losses and I’m 22 years old.
  • Introduce yourself: hi! I'm Amanda. I'm 29 and live in Chicago.

Due date: I believe it's May 4th but it's very likely I'll be induced the last week of April because of my last traumatic birth.

How you found out: I had been having headaches and bloating so I figured I'd test. I was tracking and actively trying to not get pregnant but I guess the best laid plans....

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been together  11 years and married 3. We have one son who is 16 months old. I work part-time as an SLP and then watch our little guy the rest of the week. We have two cats and two dogs so we have a full house for sure! I guess we're adding to the chaos!

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?: I've been having pretty bad headaches, some bloating, and slight nausea. I'm also feeling a little stressed. We were hoping to wait until April to start trying for a second so the kids would be three years apart. Now they'll be almost exactly two years apart and that seems like a tough age gap 😬
  • Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Beth I’m 35 and live in the PNW.

    Due date: April 25, 2025

How you found out: My husband and I were TTC so I had been tracking my cycle. I legitimately thought that I wasn’t pregnant and that this wasn’t our month as I felt like I do when my period is about to start. The day my period was supposed to start my pms symptoms disappeared which threw me off. I also randomly noticed while checking my Apple Watch that my BBT was climbing. I ended up taking a pregnancy test and it was immediately positive!

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) my husband and I have been together 3 years and married a year and a half. This will be our first child. We have a dog and a cat that both keep us on our toes! I also love being active either by lifting heavy weights at the gym or taking fun cardio classes. I also love crafting of all different types.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? So far I feel extremely bloated, tired and a little moody. Today’s frustration was discovering that my lone pair of jeans that had fit are not fitting comfortably between the bloat and putting some muscle on at the gym this past spring. I guess I’ll be shopping for new clothes sooner than I expected!
  • Introduce yourself: Howdy! I’m Janette! I’m 32 and live in New England. I work in higher ed doing reports and events for donors.

Due date: May 3, but I had my first at 38 weeks exactly and the women in my family tend to give birth 2-3 weeks early so I would guess I’ll give birth mid to late April.

How you found out: We were not trying, but also, not not trying 😁. We already have an 18 month old and were going to try for a second in 2025. But my period never came and now the tests are positive so here comes baby #2 hopefully!

Tell us about yourself: My son is 18 months old, and my husband is a teacher. We are really excited for baby #2. Our son is a huge goof ball. Doesn’t sleep through the night but is a huge cuddle bug. When we aren’t working, we enjoy family trips to Costco and the farmer’s market! I love gardening and my husband does woodworking.

How are you feeling: Symptoms started immediately like they did with my first two pregnancies (I had a chemical pregnancy a few months before I conceived my son, so this is technically my third pregnancy). Sore gums, sore boobs, some nausea, and I am full of farts 🙃. Emotionally - excited and scared! I had horrible nausea with my son and I’m nervous to navigate that with a toddler now. But last time I didn’t take any meds for nausea and I won’t make that mistake again. In the meantime, I’m having fun thinking of names!

    Hello folks! Mac here!

    Due date: 4/24

How you found out: We knew the moment we were done having sex, I swear. My spouse even said as much. It was just a feeling… confirmed by a blood result from a conveniently timed annual gyno exam!

Tell us about yourself: I’m 40 y.o. writer/coder from New Jersey, USA. I have AuDHD and dealing with a neuropathic disability since I was a teen. Spouse works in photography.

This will be baby #2 - our oldest of only nine months old so we’re looking at one a 17 month gap between siblings!

How are you feeling: HUNGRY lol. I’m a lethal destroyer if you put a plate of scrambled eggs in front of me.

So grateful and excited I get to go on this pregnancy journey again 💜
  • Hi! My name is Terrin

    Due date

    April 29th

    How you found out:

Hubby and I had a “heat of the moment” situation, and realized immediately after that it happened in my fertile window 🫣 At first we were just joking that I might end up pregnant, so we went out and got some tests the day before my period was due and much to our shock, they came back positive! We already have 2 boys and *thought* we were done, but life seems to have other plans for our family 🥰

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)

My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We’ve been married almost 9 years, and have been together for 14 🩷 Like I said, we have two boys. They are 7 and 5, but we also have two dogs and a cat! It’s a pretty full house here, and about to get even fuller 😂

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?

I’m currently 5w 1d and don’t really have any symptoms…my boobs are a little sore sometimes, but that’s about it! It’s weirding me out a bit ngl because I was sooooo sick with both boys starting at like 4 weeks! Sort of hoping it might mean this one is a girl! 🤞🏻🎀 Nervous about adding an unexpected third child, but feeling like this was “meant to be” 🫶🏻

    Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Jess!

Due date: April 28 doing the LMP/28 day cycle math. I’m expecting to have it adjusted ahead a few days and land in May group - I have PCOS and my cycles are usually 30+ days so.

How you found out: My friend’s period hadn’t started several days after getting to her sugar pills in her pack, and mine was “late” too. I’ve been trying to conceive for >2 years, battling 30-70 day cycles, and having failed 3 rounds of letrozole earlier this year. So I wasn’t serious when I made a joke we could be test buddies the next day….and I got a blazing positive and her period started!

Tell us about yourself: I live in a rural area in Canada, been married 4 years in Sept, with one dog, and we are both healthcare providers.

How are you feeling: Very excited and also very congested! I tested positive for COVID a couple of days before the pregnancy test, and I really really miss decongestants. Early pregnancy symptoms so far have been sore boobs and peeing more frequently.
  • Hey, everyone!

My name's Alex and baby #2 is due April 15th. We were trying so when I was late I of course tested and got my positive result!

    Tell us about yourself:
Im an Active Duty Army Officer and my family and I recently got stationed in Colorado. My husband and I have a one year old daughter and a golden retriever. Outside of working and momming, i like to paint, weightlift, and do really anything outdoors!

As far as how I'm feeling: headaches and nausea. Hoping my nausea isn't as bad as it was with my first, because it was just awful! Mentally, I'm just very excited!

  • I’m Victoria. I’m due April 15 2025. I found out because my period was late and I took a test but didn’t believe it at first so took another a few days later and then got a blood test to confirm.

    Due date buddies!! ❤️
  • I have PCOS too. It’s a journey to try and manage. Congratulations and I’m glad you’re feeling alright so far!
  • Hello! My name is Leah.
I took a home pregnancy test after being late and more than normal hair loss. Since finding out I have had severe problems with nausea and vomiting, spotting, a rough roller-coaster of emotions....and worry for health reasons I will explain in a moment.
This isnmy 4th pregnancy, with 1 miscarriage. (My first pregnancy ever was a miscarriage). The I got pregnant at 21 in 2007 with my first daughter. Had emergency c section. Then no more children til 2023! Yup. 16 years later at 39 I had my second daughter. Another emergency c section due to preclampsia. Now I'm 40 and having to go through another high risk pregnancy. It has me anxious, stressed, scared. Hands down it's already the hardest I've been through and I'm only roughly 9 weeks.
Anyway, thanks for letting me rant
  • Introduce yourself: My name is Mary

Due date: April 28, like someone else on here I am expecting that to move at my 8 week ultrasound

How you found out: I had removed my IUD a month earlier (had my first baby in December last year) and was feeling really tired and nauseous. It say it was a shock is an understatement.  It took us 14months and clomid to get pregnant with my first so getting pregnant this quickly was definitely not part of the plan but I’m ready to get it over with lol.

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have an 8 month baby, 2 dogs, and a less them sympathetic husband while I am pregnant- what can go wrong?

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Super exhausted, really nauseous, and nothing sounds good so food wise just struggling.  I am stressed because I struggled with my last pregnancy (migraines, sciatica, back pain, heart burn, etc.) and I am dreading going through it again
  • Hi all, my name is Kay.
My due date based on my own calculations is April 30th (have yet to go to the doctors). I found out by taking a home pregnancy test a few days before missed period, first one came back negative, totally bummed. But I took a more expensive and fancier test the following day which tested positive! Yay.
I am a registered nurse, married. We have a 7 month old son, 2 dogs, and a bunch of chickens. So adding to the chaos!
Feeling alright. Symptoms started off mild. But starting to ramp up just in the last week. Headaches, nausea, cravingggg salt, slightly tired, and incredibly moody (poor husband) lol.
  • Introduce yourself: Laura

    Due date: April 30th

How you found out: we did IVF so I tested the day before my first beta after the entire TWW

Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) No kids, one 15 y.o. Bichon-poodle who bosses me around. Operations Manager for a financial software company. My husband and I have been together for 11 years, married almost 4. I like to craft, bake, and cook.

How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Scared! I’m so anxious about something going wrong after already going through the IVF process. I’m also 37 and this is the first time I’ve ever been pregnant. Physically, I’m a little nauseous and very tired. Still doing PIO injections too so I’m a bit sore!
