How are you feeling?: Between the nausea, fatigue and sore breasts, kinda awful, but I just keep thinking that that means everything's okay.

Rants/Raves: My DH cleaned the entire house yesterday and did the laundry because I was in bed all day dry heaving. I don't know what I'd do without him.

Questions: none at the moment

GTKY: I need to make more friends with pools. All I have is a kiddie blow up one and while it's cute and fun for a few days, it's heavy and hard to flip when full of water, and you can't just leave it where I live, even under a tarp, because things will start making their home there.

How are you feeling?: exhausted, slightly nauseous, hungry every 2 hrs

Rants/Raves: electrolyte powder in water first thing in the am is making the nausea tolerable

Questions: what is everyone snacking on? I love chomps meat sticks but not sure if it’s great to have one per day

GTKY: How are you beating this summer heat? There's gotta be more than just parking under the A/C, right? When I have my life together I make homemade mint tea to drink which cools me down. I need to find more friends with a pool, I haven’t had a pool day all summer.

How are you feeling?: insomnia has let up finally, but has been replaced with pretty constant nausea

Rants/Raves: My other kiddo (4) is going through a CRAZY phase of not listening and actively doing the opposite of what I say. On top of the hormones, it is driving me a bit nuts, and I feel like I’m not being a very nice mom right now.

Questions:

GTKY: How are you beating this summer heat? There's gotta be more than just parking under the A/C, right? We have been to the pool several times these last couple weeks, but it’s finally been cooler this week (where we are).

How are you feeling?: good, threw up for the first time this weekend but other than that I still don’t feel pregnant!

Rants/Raves: I had my first appointment! Got to see baby and heart rate was 164 ❤️ made me feel sooooo much better about everything as this pregnancy still doesn’t tell real!

GTKY: How are you beating this summer heat? There's gotta be more than just parking under the A/C, right? Mostly just the AC haha. I have a kiddie pool and a sprinkler for my daughter that I sometimes help myself to lol.

How are you feeling?: EXHAUSTED. Very queasy. I have thrown up a couple times now, but for the most part I can keep the nausea under control. Its still mostly from my increased gag reflex when brushing my teeth. Although I had one bite of nachos over the weekend and immediately had to run to the bathroom!

Rants/Raves: Nothing new here.

Questions: None right now.

GTKY: How are you beating this summer heat? There's gotta be more than just parking under the A/C, right? We spent the weekend at Camp Margaritaville in Florida and I was in the pool pretty much the entire time. Luckily, living in Florida we get to go out on the boat almost every weekend and cool off in the water. We spend most of our free time outdoors. My husband is on his way to Miami today for mini-season later this week so I'm flying solo until the weekend.

How are you feeling?: scared I'm gonna eat something I shouldn't without knowing it😅 also the cramps are awful.

Rants/Raves: it was my birthday on the 21st and baby did not want cake. I love cake. It made me so sad. All I wanna eat is yogurt, cottage cheese and fruit.

Questions: Is anyone else telling people so early? I feel like the only one😅 I'm a very open person and my logic is that I would tell everyone if I lost the baby, but then baby would only ever be mourned so I want baby to be celebrated too, should the worst happen. I just feel like everything tells me I should wait but I just don't want to😅
Also; WHAT TEA AM I ALLOWED TO DRINK?! The internet contradicts itself all the time and I want a warm drink!

@lyndsaygrace21 I (and probably my doctor) wish your cravings were mine. One day it’s ice cream, one day it’s tomato soup. I’m not nearly as open as you, and I don’t want all the pitying looks I got after my last miscarriage; if I didn’t have that to scare me, I’d probably be more willing to share at least after I have my first appt, but for now I’m waiting till trimester 2. And if you want to share, you go on ahead. You can drink black and green teas, just watch your caffeine. The only ones that are iffy are the herbals. How do you live without A/C?! 😱

Team blue/pink/green: Green. I didn't find out ahead of time with my 1st and plan on doing the same with this one.

Upcoming Appointments: August 8th - 1st appointment with the doctor. Only "appointment" I had so far was a phone call with the nurse to go over the basics such as family medical history, date of my last period etc.

How are you feeling?: Overall pretty good. No nausea or anything really except for a couple times when DH asked me to smell something but nothing more than a face or single dry heave. I get cramps here and there and feel bloated and gassy

Rants/Raves: DH has been wonderful with checking in and seeing if I need anything and putting up with my random cravings although I wish I craved more fruit and healthier things. So far my consistent cravings are: string cheese, saltines with butter on them and anything sweet (cupcakes, soda etc).

Also I absolutely LOVE Prime (the water / hydration drinks not energy drinks) but apparently I can't drink them while pregnant??? Waiting on confirmation from the doctor's office vs dr google but if it's true I will be very sad lol

Questions: None at the moment

GTKY: The heat isn't too bad by me lately but for me it's AC and light t-shirts and trying to make sure I have a cold drink.

Upcoming Appointments: blood test tomorrow to check hcg levels, then another one on Saturday to compare. Hoping for high and doubling numbers!

How are you feeling?: I am feeling tired, yet anxious about everything. I just want to make sure baby is implanted and growing and this is a viable pregnancy. I am terrified being 38 of all the things that could go wrong.

Rants/Raves: I don't remember feeling this "crazy" in my previous pregnancies. So hormonal and so anxious.

@fininevermore in Denmark it's not common to have AC😅 I have my balcony door open basically all day, but on hot days a cold shower is a lifesaver!

Rants/Raves: love my doctors nurse, she’s been helping me so much with any worries and making sure we are tracking this baby well (multiple early loss hx)

I am 5 weeks +1 and I am not nauseated at all, I am just not hungry. When I am finally hungry, I am immediately full after a few bites.

Upcoming Appointments: Just had one. Ultrasound and heart rate looked great. Labs are all trickling in, but look good. Next one is sometime in August.

How are you feeling?: So nauseous and tired. But no actual vomiting, so I’ll take it.

Rants/Raves: I just feel poorly and I wish my husband would do a bit more with the toddler to take it off of me, but I also haven’t asked. We just bought a Honda Odyssey! So excited for the mom van.

Questions: NATM

@SaphireSweetie88 So finally got my test results back from Saturday. After approx 42 hours the numbers went from 12,000 to 18,000. Not sure if this is a good enough jump or not 🤷🏻‍♀️

@mommyjenkay11 - Did your doctor say anything about it yet? I know they usually want to see it doubled. With my last pregnancy I had to have HCG levels checked 3 times I believe.
