Team blue/pink/green: Blue - I think. I had an ultrasound on Friday and the tech asked if she could tell what it is would I want to know. And right before she asked I was pretty sure I saw what she saw lol. She said that it's still early but she was sure enough to say something. She said to tell her if she was right when my blood work comes in.
How are you feeling?: I don't want to jinx it but I haven't had really bad nausea in about a week. I have had some mild nausea but that I can deal with.
GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why?
Book - Perks of Being a Wallflower - I just loved the style of writing and the storyline was great.
Movie - August: Osage County - My husband and I quote that movie all the time. Like probably once a day at least.
TV show - I have 3: Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, and Psych. I just loved all of these and watched them religiously when they came out. I just loved the writing of all three shows. I started watching Supernatural because of Gilmore Girls (Jared Padalecki) and I'm so glad I did. Psych is just so fun and I love that there are running jokes throughout the whole series.
Just found this group! Looking forward to connecting. I’m based south of Denver if anyone is around.

Team blue/pink/green:
We found out we’re having a girl on Saturday.
Upcoming Appointments:
July 24
How are you feeling?:
Okay- mentally I’m still up and down a lot and still having a lot of fatigue. Most of the other physical symptoms subsided a few weeks ago.
Rants/Raves:
I’ve been told my multiple people to start getting on daycare lists now and that is so overwhelming at this point. 😞
Questions:
Does your insurance cover the quad screen or other second trimester tests?
GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why?
Midnight library was an absolute favorite and wouldn’t be the same rereading.
As for insurance, mine only covers the regular visits. Anything additional we have to pay for until we reach our deductible. Once our deductible is met, most things are paid for 100% or there is a copay of $50-$250.

Team blue/pink/green: Sneak Peak says 💗. I had my Panorama test on Monday so we’ll have confirmation sometime in the next two weeks
How are you feeling?:
tired! I spent most of Friday at a Luke Bryan concert and got in about 23k steps. Saturday I was a complete zombie and took 3 separate naps throughout the day. Sunday was a little better, but I still ended up sleeping 9hrs and then taking several naps. Your girl cannot hang lol.
GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why?
Book: Haunting Adeline. Lots of content warnings, but one of those books you’ll always remember.

Team blue/pink/green: blue
How are you feeling?: It’s amazing how much better I feel overall! It’s like a fog has lifted. Still exhausted though.
GTKY: Tough question for my brain made of mush. I love Harry Potter and I would absolutely reread the series. I’ve read so many amazing books, mostly I love a long series because it takes me a long time to read it! I love all travel and food shows which I rewatch all the time. Somebody Feed Phil is probably one of my favs.

Team blue/pink/green: green (should find out soon)
How are you feeling?: physically good, definitely the best I have in a few weeks. I am pretty exhausted though
GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why?
Chasing the Scream - I’m a nonfiction girl, and this book was such a great page turner
I Love You, Man - I saw this in theatres back in like 2009 and I remember laughing the whole way through; I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed that hard at a movie.
@babywiik my first was after 20 weeks. I don't remember exactly when but I remember being at the anatomy scan and while she was getting all the measurements my daughter was moving around a lot and she asked if I could feel it and I couldn't feel a thing lol. It was really weird to see her so active and not feel it.
@jojosesame I had such a hard time with my registry and was overwhelmed. I started the baby gear/product thread to hopefully try and help some FTM. In my last BMB another FTM suggested a book called Baby Bargains but there is also a website. They review tons of baby gear and they pay for everything themselves so they don't get any kickback for their reviews. It definitely helped me narrow down certain things.

Team blue/pink/green: blue + green (twins)
How are you feeling?: Feeling pretty good, just tired and not much of an appetite. Had an appointment Monday and both babies are growing and looking good, so that was a huge reassurance. We got to see them moving around which was also just amazing to see.
GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why?
Hmmmm my husband and I got really into Silo last year, super fun with all the twists and turns

How are you feeling?: So many feelings these days! since we found out it's a boy, everything feels so much more real, but at the same time, I've had two previous unsuccessful pregnancies so I'm still nervous that this one won't last either. I'm trying not to dwell on it but I can't wait for the next scan! Physically I'm ok, I have a little bump which makes me so happy, but this week I've developed what I think is acid reflux-induced congestion/cough/sore throat, which is so miserable. But, I try to remind myself that every new symptom means things are still progressing.
GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why?
For TV, probably Parks & Recreation. It's one of my all-time favorites, I rewatch it often, but that first time was a delight.
For books, The Scholomance trilogy by Naomi Novik. I recommend it to literally everyone - if you like fantasy, take my word for it and read these!
@strongishmom I just started having some cramping yesterday (13 weeks), no bleeding. I'm pretty sure it is round ligament pain. I remember with my first getting really worried and looking up what it could be and found that. I think it typically starts at the beginning of the second trimester but it can start earlier. Also, a few nights recently I have woke up with really bad acid reflux. It is not fun.

How are you feeling?: Starting to level out I think. Every once in awhile something triggers my nausea randomly but at least not enough to vomit. I'm getting really tired of peeing 4-6 times a night though.
GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why?
House. I remember really enjoying it a lot and just feeling absorbed into it. Though its been so long maybe it would feel like the first time.
Baby is the size of a (an): Lime
Team blue/pink/green: Green still
How are you feeling?: So. Much. Better. I’ve felt good since the weekend and it was literally like I woke up and a veil of awfulness had lifted. I turned to my husband and actually said, “wow, I really did feel like crap the past few weeks!” At first it freaked me out because feeling bad was kind of my reassurance that baby was okay. But my appointment yesterday showed that everything is fine and I may just be getting some early relief. So so so thankful
GTKY:
book - Harry Potter or LOTR of course. The Licanius Trilogy is a good one that I’ve read more recently. If not into fantasy, Educated was excellent as well
TV show - The Office (US), Parks and Rec, Supernatural, Gilmore Girls
Wonderful recs!
Baby is the size of a (an): strawberry
Team blue/pink/green: blue, confirmed via sneak peek

GTKY: What book, movie, and/or TV show do you wish you could read/watch again for the first time and why? SATC. Just love it
