@jemyjeme I feel surprisingly good physically but I’m noticing that my pelvis is starting to loosen up and it’s uncomfortable. The first few steps after getting up from a chair feel like I’m super old. It’s a strong waddle at this point. I’m also pretty tired of my ribs/diaphragm being kicked. And just tired of being tired.
@jemyjeme everything hurts! Lol during both my pregnancies my hips would kill me at night. I’m also 37 weeks and reeeally hoping she comes early! My son came at 38!
I have a horrible ache in the middle of my back on the right side. Doc shrugged and said it's likely just my bowling ball of a baby weighing down tendons. Also, my calves are consistently achy.
@jemyjeme yeah my hips are crying at night! When I'm shifting from one side to the other I need to do a quick stretch in bed otherwise the pain won't let me sleep
I guess we are all in that final line. Today I feel a little better but yesterday was horrible. I thought I was going on labor but today my husband is feeling what I felt yesterday so maybe some kind of virus got me and got worse due to pregnancy. Im hoping this baby girl doesn’t make me wait until July 3 but my contractions are non existent or I am not feeling them like my other pregnancy.
Baby boy is non stop stretching and kicking and while I’m glad I never have to question him moving, I am exhausted 😩 The hip pain is so real. I get small relief with massaging the area but within a few minutes it’s back. Home stretch…

38 weeks tomorrow. Went to get checked today and Dr thinks my labor is starting. Im having lots of contractions, not too painful yet but back pain is killing me, im only 1cm and baby is aprox 8lbs. This hospital won’t do csection unless baby is 10-11lbs or its emergency. Now the waiting game is real… can be anytime and this wait feels longer than months 🥴
@jemyjeme it's nice to hear a hospital isn't just doing C-section for whatever. An 8 lb baby is a perfect size. Mine will likely be 10lbs this time and I'm hoping for a 2vba2c which doctors get weird about with big babies. My second was also a 10lb baby, but came after a long tolac as a rcs.
Well Im still hanging around with the belly. Everything hurts, more contractions and a little stronger, back, pelvic pain worse but not active labor yet. Phase 1 now. My breasts are literally killing me and I smell milk 🤢 I feel like I have fever but i don’t. I guess my body is really done. Everyday I think it is the day. Watch the back pain!! I never felt contractions with my first and when my water broke they told me my back pain was actually contractions.
i am trying so hard to be patient for the baby to be born 😂 i’m 36 weeks this Friday & i’m VERY excited and ready! of course i can wait til he’s full term, i’m just so freaking excited and eager to start life with baby #2 added to the family
last night I started having contractions and omg this sucks. I didn’t have any or go into labor with my daughter because I ended up with high BP and an almost 10 pounder so C-section. I don’t think it’s active labor because it’s not regular. I have an appt tomorrow and I’m just hoping that baby holds off because baby shower is Saturday and I haven’t even gotten my hospital bag together. I’m in denial lol. But this pain is awful!

@mixedqt21 I don't remember how far along you are, but contractions can also just be your body trying to better position baby for delivery. Look into making sure baby is positioned well if you're still a little bit away from your due date.
Just went to my weekly appt and doc said baby is still happy in there. I’m just over 35 weeks and she said this could go on for weeks. Fun lol. She also said because this pregnancy is healthy and baby is measuring normal and all my high risks have been kept in check so a VBAC is an option. I truely love that my docs don’t try to push me but gives me all the options. I think it’s gonna be a game time decision but I feel more in control with the options. This is after I bought all of the C-Section recovery stuff 🤣

@mixedqt21 I refuse to buy any recovery items either way because I feel if I buy them I'm going to guarantee a C-section either way. I'm glad they're giving you options and not shutting down the vbac. Have you tried working on positioning it the baby to help out at all? I know I keep saying in, but a chiropractor and spinning babies exercises are amazing.
Now for myself, if it could cool off a little bit and my feet could stop swelling from the heat I could be so much happier. My feet look so deformed after I take my girls off, and then I feel like I'm putting on someone else's shoes when I put them back on and they're a few sizes too small.
I second the spinning babies. My baby is in a OA position and as my OB said “prefect position for labor” 🙌🏻 and I credit it ALL to spinning babies and the miles circuit! My first baby was big and in an OT position that contributed to him having shoulder dystocia so I really made babies position a priority this pregnancy because I am trying to avoid a C Section.
My irritable uterus hasn’t let me do many floor stretches lately, and I’m nervous I’ll throw myself into labor early (I’m 33+6) but once I reach 35 weeks I’ve gotten the okay to become more active again! Induction set for 7/19 if baby doesn’t make his/her own arrival first 🤍
I had my baby shower today and it was so awesome. Husband and I usually hate being center of attention (we had a courthouse wedding 🤣) but it was only 30 of our closest people. Our family and friends have really blessed us with so many things, and with being a smarter 2nd time mom I was really selective about what I registered for. They even gave my daughter big sister gifts at the shower! I’ve let her jump in and open gifts and put things away, and she loves it. This is the one benefit of a 12 year age gap, big sister pride ❤️

36 weeks today and my husband and I took this weekend for us as a staycation babymoon. It was so nice just the 2 of us 🥰 we went to go see Harry Potter on Broadway, ordered plenty of room service at a hotel right down the block, and watched most of season 3 of Bridgerton in bed. Now to get ready for these last few weeks before we become a family of 4
My baby still hanging out inside. Today appointment went well and I am 4cm now, super soft and hopefully will be done this week. I can’t wait to meet this stubborn little girl.
had my 36wk ultrasound today & baby is measuring 5lb 8oz, my firstborn was born at 40wks at 6lbs 14oz, just wondering if i make little guys or is it right on track
I make big babies so don't compare to me, but my 36 week US this one was measuring 8lbs. My last kid at 37 weeks was 7lbs 9 oz. . . I would say your baby is on track though because if you deliver at 40 weeks, with a half pound gain for the next 4 weeks, baby will be 7lbs 8 oz which is a great straw for a baby.
Last day commuting to work before I'm on leave! I'm so excited. People keep asking me for things and I'm so mentally checked out. I work remote on Thu and Fri. Looking forward to sleeping in a little before my little guy starts summer camp next week
wishing you the best of luck! @jemyjeme i am SO excited for you! congrats honestly, you’re one step closer to meeting your newest bundle of joy 🥹💛 i truly hope you have a positive labor & delivery experience and that both you & baby are healthy, safe & happy 🙏🏻✨
Hello everyone! Baby is here. Was born today June 27 at 6:12am. She weighed 9.0lb and measured 20.6in. I am not going to lie labor was horrible until I reached 6cm. After that I got epidural and I pushed the baby in 15 mins after fully dilated. Recovery now. Don’t be scared, if I pushed this baby you guys can. I am a tiny 5’2”.

Does back pain usually mean labor is near? I'm dying for the last 3 days of back pain.
