Looking forward to motherhood in general as it’s been something that I’ve always envisioned for myself..
Most concerned about having enough energy and being around long enough to see little one become an amazing adult. Oh yeah, and also that I have know idea what I’m in for. 😂

This was not planned but it is also not really a surprise. I'm very fertile and this is my third pregnancy this year (2 chemicals were this year). My lines seem darker this time so we'll see!
This is my 10th pregnancy. My husband and I have 5 children 4-11 with the biggest age gap about 2 years. Most of my losses were within one year.
I'm looking forward to bringing one more life into this world and family and experiencing all the joys again.
Worried mostly about loss. Then labor. Then getting a bigger van....being exhausted and stressed out because I already am. But I trust God has it all together.
- How Far Along are you? I am 8 weeks today.
- Planned or Surprise? The baby was planned, But was also a surprise. We had gone through an unsuccessful round of IVF back in April 2022. We were planning to do another round once my fertility benefits kicked in from my new job. We did try for the baby, but honestly, were just preparing for a new round of IVF in July/August. We were shocked!

- I have a 17 year old step son, my baby is my first child
- Have had a terrible experience with my OB so I broke up with her, now planning to visit High risk dr in two weeks for my 20 week anatomy scan. I have tried to establish care with another OB for monthly checks but it seems no one will see me. So that’s made me feel highly emotional lately. Waiting on consult with HR Dr before trying again to find a Dr.

- How Far Along are you? 10w 1day
- Planned or Surprise? Surprise I thought early menopause.
- Do you have any other children? If yes, how many? a Fur baby 1st Human
- What is your next milestone (major appointment, etc) Tomorrow at 8am
- What are you most looking forward to? kicks and bonding
- What are you most concerned about? New fears unlock every day. Yesterday I cried because I heard Adele's My little love and I understood how she felt. I want him or her to have everything I never had. I worry will I good mom. I lost mine in the early 30's and I still feel loss. My dad is coming with me tomorrow. His 1st grand!
- Do you have any other children? If yes, how many? no other children for either myself or my husband. For both of us, this is our first pregnancy
- What is your next milestone (major appointment, etc): My first OB appointment is 4/5
- What are you most concerned about? I’m concerned about my age, and I’m also concerned because I’m a nurse, and sometimes we know too much. For example, my beta hCG is in the 5700 range in week four. I’m worrying about stuff such as an ectopic, pregnancy, molar, pregnancy, or down syndrome. I’m trying to stay positive and tell myself it’s either twins, or I’m gestating baby Huey!
I know the stats and I know the odds are against us. I'm trying not to get excited and to remain optimistic. It's hard knowing that I'm racing the clock and my H needs surgery that might not even work. But we are going to try and hope for the best!
I have LH strips and hCg tests, I have a thermometer at my bedside, I have a menses tracker app. I've been off my BC for a few months, and I've lost 40 lbs. We aren't saying anything to anyone, so I've joined a few forums hoping to learn more and pass the time lot quickly!
