@cioccolata16 sounds like a BH. I have had a few uncomfortable ones already. When it happens if you feel your belly and it feels really tight and then relaxes after a few seconds then it was probably a BH. They are uncomfortable and noticeable, but painless IMO. Also, you shouldn't be able to time them- there isn’t a pattern to them.
@cioccolata16 Sounds like a BH contraction to me too! Mine feel like non painful belly tightening, and are more frequent when I have to pee, or when I'm walking a lot, or after sex (especially orgasm).
@dinomeetsjedi I've been trying to get my Covid booster too, but also dreading feeling yucky.
@halfanewt Glad you're starting to feel better!
@farm_mama I'm glad that you're feeling a little better, I hope it continues 🙏
As for baby prep - we have a chest freezer now, so your question made me realize I can finally freezer prep some food! I'm totally here for freezer meal suggestions! I am planning to do some major decluttering/streamlining of the house. Our house is small and we have a lot of stuff, so I figure the more room I can make the better. For instance - I do a lot of sewing, but I figure that I won't have time for that for quite a while, so I am going to put away all my sewing stuff/fabric/machines for the duration. We also are planning a house addition in the spring, so I am planning to move stuff out of that part of the house in preparation for demolition.
@night_nurse Right? I can only imagine how hard 12s must be for you right now! I work mornings and on the days when I'm on my feet all morning I am basically useless for the rest of the day 🙃 Also that US tech sounds so annoying 🙄 I hope the next scan goes better and you can move ahead with your home birth plans!

@hedgepig I just got both my flu and Covid vaccines on Tuesday and have had no reaction except a sore arm. And my last booster knocked me out for two days, so you might be lucky this time around!
feel better. What a frustrating AS appointment! And as far as insurance goes ultrasounds can be so expensive if your insurance doesn’t fully cover it. I remember being billed $300+ for each one with DS1 and that was 8 years ago!
@kmw611 My H is a great cook and we really share the cooking, but... this baby is coming at a really challenging time for our ranch. We will be in the middle of calving season which H will be largely unavailable. We don't have any hired help and it is a round the clock job. In a normal year he and I share that responsibility so I am a little worried about him too.
My target freezer meal helpers are 10 & 12! I am going to try and make sure part of includes a list on the outside of the fridge of what we have and how to make it happen. My youngest daughter loves to cook so I am hoping she will be happy to help.
Planning ahead quiet activities is a great idea. I will put together a stash of easy fun things to do for each of my kids. I think with my soon to be 5 year old that will be key.
@night_nurse I am sorry you have all been sick! Illness can be so challenging. Good luck with work, I hope it treats you gently!
@jamzsquared I live in a decent size house, but there are a lot of us! This baby will be in my room for the first two years. It helps me to remind myself how little babies actually need. I like to keep it simple!
As for food, I haven't gained any weight either. My midwife and I are just focusing on protein. She suggested simple protien balls that are easy to make and easy to eat and I have been making a ton of them.
