Re: TTGP Grad Check-In August
Hi Ladies! Hope you're all doing well!
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? About 6 months: October 2022-April 2023
*How far along are you? 23w2d
*Which birth month board/due date? December 9
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? 💗
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Just ordered the announcement outfit, blanket, and wooden circle from Caden Lane, so it actually feels official even though we've had the name picked out for years now. Keeping it to ourselves until she's here though.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Can't believe how fast everything has gone! I feel like it took so long to get here and now it's all just speeding by; I can't believe there are only 4 months left until she's here. My husband says it hasn't totally hit him yet...
Hiiii 👋🏻
How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? June 2019-December 2022
How far along are you? Just shy of 38 weeks!
Which birth month board/due date? 8/30 (getting induced on 8/23)August BMB
Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue 💙
How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Jamie Ryan💙
Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? It’s crazy to be able to say that I’m getting induced NEXT WEEK!! Baby is doing great, is super active, and according to my ultrasound at the beginning of the month, he was measuring 7lb 11oz 😱. I know ultrasounds at the end of pregnancy are not super accurate so I’m hoping they’re estimating he’s bigger than he actually is. Editing to add that the reason for my induction is because I’m on lovenox and absolutely want an epidural. Induction makes it easier to control timing since there has to be at least 12 hours between a dose of lovenox and an epidural. Nothing else really to add other than I’m lurking and still rooting for all of you to get your THBs soon! ❤️
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? May 2018 - Feb 2023
*How far along are you? 27+3
*Which birth month board/due date? 11/11, not active in my BMB anymore (not for any particular reason, just haven't been keeping up with it)
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Pink! NGL, I was always secretly hoping for a girl, and she'll be the first baby girl on both sides of the family.
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. I'm jealous and amazed at the people who have had names picked out for a long time. We're basically nowhere on a first name, middle will be after DH's grandma.
Question re: family names - I'm worried my side of the family will be disappointed that we picked a family middle name from DH's side and not mine... am I overthinking this? If we are lucky enough to have more children we'd like to use family names from my side next time, but there's only so many names you can give the poor child. We're specifically doing this because she's the last remaining living grandparent on either side and we want her to be around for us to be able to tell her in person while we still can.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Passed my glucose test last week, and everything has been smooth sailing in 2nd tri. I'm feeling amazing, I love love love this part. Baby is extremely active and it is just the coolest sensation. We've finally started working on the nursery too, which is still scary but is also such a healing process for both DH and I after so many years of IF and not allowing myself to even imagine what this all might look/feel like. Next up, maternity photos and shower in Sept. Still haven't announced on socials yet either, which we may do once we have the maternity photos back.... I'm kind of dreading it though? After so many years of hating announcements, it feels wrong to be on the other end of that.
@gingermama29 GOOD LUCK next week!!!! Hope all goes well and Jamie will be here in your arms before you know it.

@kiki047 re announcing on social media - i felt weirdly against it this time, but (i know i sound narcissistic) we took amazing family photos for my birthday and i just decided to share them with caption "36 and 36 weeks" lol
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? feb 2021-jan 2023
*How far along are you? 36w tomorrow!
*Which birth month board/due date? Sept 2023, we are like crickets over there... the few regs are migrating to facebook
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? green
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. we finally sat down and worked through this over the weekend. boy name is still confirmed from 2019 (dd was also a surprise) harrison brooks (nickname harry). both are family names, i only recently learned harrison was a family name when my mom just inherited five insane family bibles, two of which date back to 1858 and 1898 respectively. and we feel good about jacqueline marie (nickname jackie) for a girl. still work shopping possible middle names. we both love maggie, but MH has a crazy aunt margaret and he doesn't love magnolia - open to hearing any other thoughts on a full name for maggie. we both lean heavily to classic names that have a nickname. truthfully there are a few other girl names i like more than jacqueline, but he got zero say in dd's name, so he gets to carry a bit more say this time.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? concerns lol i HAVE to wash baby clothes this weekend. we are woefully behind on baby prep, i keep banking on having more time since dd came a week late... but even my friends are kind of yelling at me to get my butt in gear.
@kiki047 you could always do 2 middle names, but it makes sense to use a family name based on the last living grandparent. It is SO heartwarming when you reveal to the person that your baby is named after them. Take the chance since you can. Can you explain to your family that the plan is to use a family name from your side when you have a second baby? Yes I said when 😉.
@anniemarie887 wishing you all the extra time possible for prep!

I cannot believe that I’m so close now. I’m really cherishing the end of this pregnancy, knowing it’s the last one. And I cannot wait to hold this sweet baby in my arms. The heart ache and loss to get here and now be so close is so many emotions.
I got hospitalized last week because I caught a gastro virus and it ended up causing preterm contractions but luckily I am doing much better! I have to redo my GD test on Wednesday so that’s on my to do list. I get to see this sweet baby tomorrow and I’m hoping they’re not hiding again!
Anyways, still checking in you lovely people and wishing the best for you.
