Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW w/o July 10

    Month/Cycle: 4/3
    CD/DPO: 38/6

    Timing: -1,0

    Typical LP length: 12

Testing: 9 dpo day we leave for vacation

R/R: I'm sick with a stomach bug and can not keep much down. So hoping to get better in time for vacation. And that nobody else in the family gets sick.

CS/Q: I had two days of positive opks. My temps are way too scattered from unexpected wakeups. So I threw in the towel for temps. FF marked O as the second day of my opks. But wouldn't ovulation typically happen after the LH surge?

  • @kbru88 That’s probably just how FF does it if it only has OPKs to go off of. Were you tracking CM as well?
  • kbru88kbru88 member
Yes I did actually. I didn't think about that. Based on cm and opk, their prediction makes sense. Thanks @britters314.
  • @kbru88 I hope you feel better in time for your vacation! It’s interesting because I also had 2 positive days of OPK and FF marked ovulation the day after. By my charting knowledge based on temps I would have marked it 2 days later 🤷🏻‍♀️

Month/cycle: 24 with some time off along the way for losses/surgery/benching, etc

    CD/DPO: CD21 a 9DPO

    Timing: -2, -1, 0, +1

    Typical LP length: 9-14

Testing: I’m supposed to test at 14dpo w then discontinue progesterone but I don’t know if I will make it

R/R: this looks much better than last month but still feeling like it’s weak ovulation. My LP temps are very low, and so were my PdG tests, even though I am supplementing progesterone.

    CS/Q:

  • @maggiemadeit Interesting that FF gave you dashed lines instead of solid. I’m betting it marked O on CD 12 instead of 13 based on CM. If you take out the CM data on CD 13 does it change?
  • @britters314 I tried it but it stayed the same, and still the dashed line. I feel like I would have marked the shift at CD14 based on temps but CD13 makes more sense by CM and OPK 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

CD/DPO: 19/4dpo according to app but I felt ovulation pain 7 days ago. So between 4 and 7.

    Timing: -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, O

    Typical LP length:

    Testing: BFN today, 7dpo

R/R: NTNP, but the excitement has gotten the best of me. I am sure I’ve felt ovulation pain, am having instances of nausea, and have consistent lower back pain. Today, I saw spotting on toilet paper but tested and BFN. Will wait a few more days to test again!

Welcome to the board! It will be easier for us to tag you and remember who you are if you change your username. Also, we have a newbie intro thread that you can introduce yourself in and tell us a little bit about yourself. I also recommend reading the newbie guide pinned at the top of the board because it has a lot of information on ways you can better pinpoint ovulation.

    Month/Cycle: 10 * 12 / 10 * 12

    CD/DPO: 21/9dpo

    Timing: -2, O, +1

    Typical LP length: 14?

    Testing: not done yet

    R/R: No symptoms yet

    CS/Q:

Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained infertility

    Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): IUI

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): letrozole 7.5mg CD3-7, then hCG trigger shot on July 8 and IUI on July 10

How are things going?: Not noticing any symptoms disappointed

Any questions?: Every cycle day 21 or one week before I start my menstruation I get pain in the soles of my feet. Is that normal or could it be that implantation is trying to happen but not successful. Also, I feel tired on day 21. Is that PMS symptom?

    Thank you!

  • @sontk if it’s happening every cycle, chances are good it’s not a pregnancy symptom. Tired can be pms or pregnancy, so it depends on your body.

    Thanks @ejoseph16.

A question i always had in mind since starting IUI journey with my RE. Why don't RE 1) check for hormone imbalances 2) monitor hormones especially progesterone in IUI cycle? That has been my experience. How about yours?
  • @sontk I have never been to an RE, or been through IUI. Perhaps this question may be best in the IF thread.
