Hello everyone,
I have currently undergone 4 FET cycles, and two were cancelled because of thin uterine lining and the last one was cancelled bc uterine lining was on the thinner side but I also started ovulation, so the doctor said it would throw off the hormone levels. It is a high pressure situation because we only have one frozen embryo that is ready for implantation, and my doctor is great, but I want to make sure he is providing the best protocol.
If there is anyone who has gone through this, can you let me know if your doctor put you on medication to prevent ovulation? I haven't been on any during any of these cycles.
Does your doctor plan your transfer in line with your usual ovulation?
How often does your doctor check your lining while going through an FET? I will go 7-8 days before my lining is checked again, and by then it seems like a lot of time is lost in determining if a method is or is not working.
Are there any natural ways that you have found work to thicken your uterine lining? I have been supplementing with vitamin e, fish oil, drinking bone broth, baby aspirin, and trying to make sure I get adequate exercise.
What types of estradiol have you used to increase lining thickness? I have used pills and a patch, and these have brought me to a lining of high 6s and low 7s, but I would like to be more solidly at 7mm or 8mm.
I am curious if anyone else is going through this, and would like to hear your journey and see if I can get more clarity with mine.
I wish you all the very best and many blessings,
Re: Anyone Experience a Frozen Embryo Transfer? Want to hear experiences and protocols
I had lining issues this cycle too. They just did one check for me initially and I was at a 7.53mm (that was Tuesday). Needed to be at an 8mm MINIMUM, as I’m sure you’re aware. They decided to give me 3 more days for my lining to thicken before canceling my transfer altogether. I made sure to exercise and also drink 12oz of beet root juice each day - it’s DISGUSTING - BUT by Friday my lining was at 9.57mm!!
hope that helps! Best of luck to you and that sweet, precious embaby!
