Re: Introduce Yourself Here! Welcome to July 2023!

  • Hi! My name is Cortnie. I am due July 23. We did IUI to conceive after 9 months of trying. I had my first ultrasound today and got to see the babies heart pumping at 5 weeks 6 days. Lucky for me I get to see the baby on ultrasound weekly until 10 weeks so that calms my anxiety a bit. I do get HG really bad to waiting for that to hit. So far i just feel tired, sore boobs and normal morning sickness.
I hope you all get to see your little babies heartbeats soon.
  • Introduce yourself: Hi, I'm Emily.

Due date? July 19, but I'll be happy to make it to July 4th since I'm high risk.

How did you find out? Was a day late so took a test. Was a bit surprised because I'd been sick with a horrible cold that month and hubby and I hadn't been particularly diligent about trying..🙈🤣

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Husband and 2 dogs. I'm a non- practicing attorney and more work as an ADHD coach and I love it.

*TW* This is my second pregnancy this year. I had a miscarriage in August with an anembryonic pregnancy (all parts of a healthy pregnancy, but no embryo).

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Food aversions are STRONG so far. Nausea and fatigue are also hitting hard. Trying to stay cautiously optimistic until our first appointment later this month. It was such a big let down for our last pregnancy so my husband and I are both being a bit guarded until we see that first ultrasound.

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • Introduce yourself: Hi, I’m Michelle and I’m 30yo. My husband and I have a 2yo son, so this will be our second baby. I suffered a miscarriage back in early August, so I’ve been very anxious this time around.

    Due date? July 10, 2023

How did you find out? I tested 3 days before my missed period and saw my faint two pink lines, tested a few days later and had my confirmed positive.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I’m a registered nurse. I like doing anything with my son, he’s at such a fun age right now, so our world pretty much revolves around him lol
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’m feeling pretty okay. My only symptom this pregnancy has been insane exhaustion. With my son I had nausea, food aversions, and exhaustion. I don’t have my first appointment until next week on the 6th so I’ve been (impatiently) waiting. Just praying everything is going well and just trying to enjoy my pregnancy.

    Nice to meet you all!
  • Hi, I am 35 and first time pregnant. Based on my last period I am at 6W+7, due date 7/23.
We just started trying in September and I got off birth control in august. Worked way faster than we both expected!
I took a test after my period was four days late- very clearly positive! First doctors appointment will be tomorrow, hoping everything is going to be okay.
Feeling plenty nauseous and tired, kind of not even myself anymore in the past two weeks since finding out.
I work in a high pressure job in R&D (chemistry). I hike and do Yoga for fun. Living together with my boyfriend and we’re super excited to hopefully become parents.
  • @hybrisa congratulations! I'm 35 also and first time pregnant too.
  • Hi everyone!

First time parent in the making!

Hubby and I are expecting a little one on July 10!

This is my third pregnancy and my first healthy one! So dealing with all of the emotions that comes with the territory!

We have two awesome cats at home and are both active outdoor enthusiasts who love to travel and work hard!

We’re so stoked for the biggest adventure yet!

Oh and I have had every symptom in the books! All day sickness, intense fatigue almost like I’m sedated, itchy skin, frequent urination, disturbed sleep, and extreme lightheadedness which just sucks for an active person!

Feel not at all like myself but hopefully in 3 weeks symptoms will ease!

Nice to meet everyone and join the July 2023 club!
  • Due date? 7/31/23 so I feel behind in this group! I thought about joining 8/23 birth moms but didn’t want to break the rules

How did you find out? I took a test a few days before my missed period- I had felt some tiny unusual cramping that didn’t remind me of my period.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My fiancé and I have a 20 month old son together, I also have a 5 year old son from a previous marriage. This will be my 3rd 😱😍 I have two big dogs. My fiancé and I are both nurses. I mostly am a SAHM, but I work a few shifts per month at a birth center as a birth assistant to the midwives and have a second PRN job working on adult inpatient floors. I love to bake, workout, and be with my kids.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I have been SO tired. I also have been crying so easily! A little nauseous but nothing crazy. I have had several early losses, so I’m hoping all of my symptoms are good signs. My first ultrasound is on 12/14 so 🤞🤞🤞
  • Hello everyone! Had my first appointment today, measuring at 8 weeks 4 days with due date of 7/17. First time mom, and 35 years old, husband and I have been married for 4 years and we were going to start trying in January but God brought it a little quicker. Experiencing nausea, one really bad day so far where I also felt lightheaded and slept most of the day. Definitely experiencing a different type of appetite and need a little something every couple of hours. We have a 12 year old fur baby who has ruled the house and the best girl, she's going to be a great big sister. Because of my age going to get some additional genetic testing done in the coming weeks. Congratulations all!!

Introduce yourself: Hi and congratulations to all! I’m Kate.

    Due date? July 3rd!

How did you find out? We were trying, but thought it would take longer than it did! I was a few days late, took a test and it looked negative (in hindsight it was just a really faint line I didn’t notice). Continued to be late and tested again 3 days later, with a faint positive.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): This is our first child, so everything is new to me! My husband and I have 2 Westies (one is a new puppy and hopefully will be potty trained before the baby gets here) I work as an analyst but also sing in an active choir. My husband and I hike and ski (I’m sitting this season out of course). We just bought our first house so a LOT of DIY work (new floors, paint, doors, lighting, etc.). Lots to be done and with a firm timeline now!

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Feeling pretty good! Doctor put me on unisom and b6 for nausea and that’s helped a lot. Started having some weird dreams this week, which has been fun. Getting tired a lot easier these days. I’m one of the lucky ones with early trimester bleeding, though that’s starting to subside I think. I did have a cyst that gave us a scare a few weeks ago but all good so far - heartbeat around 170 and looking forward to the nuchal testing in 2 weeks to see how big baby’s grown!
  • Introduce yourself: Hi there! My name is Victoria. I'm 38, a Sagittarius, and from Missouri. This is my first baby!

Due date? I am due July 2, 2023

    How did you find out?
I had suspicions before I even took a test. Having PCOS I'm very in tune with how my body feels. So, when I woke up one morning super nauseous and extremely tired (even having slept eight hours the night before) I knew something was off. It was also really close to my period starting, and when it didn't I knew I was pregnant!

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I have two cats and a giant pupper. All who keep me on my toes (and hopefully don't trip me when I get bigger, lol). I work at the South Central Correctional Center in Missouri as a secretary. I love reading, crocheting, drawing and knitting in my spare time. My boyfriend is the sweetest Veteran who is just as excited as I am about Little Bean. He works construction/mechanical jobs.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I am constantly tired, all I want to do is sleep, even at work when I'm sitting at my desk. Morning sickness has currently been replaced by sore/tender boobs (and I hate it!). I am always hungry for starchy foods or candy. Emotionally, it really depends on what I'm doing. I cry over cute animal videos or while watching a movie. I cried over dishes the other day and my boyfriend laughed. I kind of did too because I didn't know why I was crying. His statement: "Little Bean has emotions too, no reason to keep them bottled up."
  • Introduce yourself: hello! I’m Sarah. I’m 29 and this will be my first baby! I’m from Illinois. I’m a mental health therapist.

    Due date? 7/4

How did you find out? I was not feeling well and my mom told me to take a test. It was unexpected and unplanned.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): my fiancé and I have 5 dogs, 1 cat, 16 chickens, 4 turtles and a lot of fish. I am an animal lover! I work in private practice and love what I do.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? My fiancé and I just finished planning our wedding for September, so at first I was upset. I have processed it more and am excited to have a special guest at our wedding. Physically I am often tired and get waves of nausea.
  • Hi! I’m Lizzie, this will be my first baby, due July 22!

My period was a few days late, which isn’t unusual for me but I was craving milk very intensely so I took a test, came back negative. Waited a few days still no period so I took another one, negative, waited a couple more, still no period took ANOTHER one, negative, waited another couple days, no period took a FOURTH test, negative (at this point I was about 10 days late) I had an unrelated appointment with my OBGYN that week so I just left it at that until I saw her, she did some blood work and yep. I am pregnant. To say it was an emotional and stressful ride is an understatement, but I’m happy we got here! Won’t feel totally settled until I get my ultrasound in a bit though.

I’m 26, a NICU nurse, and married. We live on a little farm with horses and chickens, our dog and several barn cats.

I honestly feel like garbage and have since week six 😂 constant morning sickness and I’ve developed an intense meat aversion, I’m also beyond exhausted, though I’m a shift worker so that doesn’t help. Anxious as I think most of us are, bills and all that good stuff.

    Hello! I'm Heather and I'm 35 y/o.

Based on my last period, I am due on July 10.

I found out I was pregnant on day one of my missed period. I am never late and I didn't even feel like I was going to start so I took a test.

This is my 6th pregnancy, but I have three angel babies. I currently have two girls ages 9 and 22 months. This will be my last pregnancy and based on a recent blood test, we are having a boy. We will call him V.

We have no pets. I have been with my current job for 17 years and I absolutely love it!

I feel sick all the time and I absolutely hate it to be completely honest. I was hoping this pregnancy would be different than my others as I was sick beginning at week 6 until I gave birth. Maybe after week 12 I will start feeling somewhat normal. Luckily, I have a great partner who is picking up my slack.
  • Introduce yourself: My name is Janakhte! This is my first baby!

    Due date? 7/4/23

How did you find out? I missed my period and peed on a stick lol

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have a cat, I like to sleep a lot, no partner

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? A bit nervous and emotional. It was twins but I lost one. Struggling with managing my emotions.

  • Hello! I’m Taylor and I am pregnant with my third child and this will be my husband’s first child. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. We are so excited to expand our family.
I always thought my first two pregnancies were a breeze. I loved being pregnant and I didn’t really have any symptoms in the beginning, I felt great. Well this is what I get for saying that because this pregnancy has knocked me on my bum. Lol
I’ve been so sick with nausea, fatigue and body aches. I’m currently sick with a cold and I just started a new job that I took on right before I found out I was pregnant. However, all of these changes are super exciting and we’re thrilled. :)
  • Hi there, I’m 26 and currently 9 weeks pregnant with Di-Di twins, I have a 1 year old 😭 and a 7 year old!

I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks when my breast started aching.

I found out it was twins at 6 weeks in the emergency room because I had Covid and the Flu!

I am extremely exhausted, terrified, happy, grateful, worried, and a mix of other emotions.

Normally I have severe hyperemesis but it’s been relatively mild this pregnancy! I am happy there but I have no energy, headaches, and body aches! Welcome!
  • Introduce yourself: Hi I'm Amanda. First time mom, 37, and 11 weeks pregnant with twins! 😮

Due date? 07/04/2023.... Though I'm told twins often come two weeks early

How did you find out? We found out after a food tour in Bologna when I had missed my period for a couple days and just felt weird. We processed it in Rome the next day on a tour bus😂 we found out we were having twins at 7 weeks with our first ultrasound.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): No other kids. We have three zebra finches. I'm an education coordinator for local access television Center and my husband, Jeff, is a mechanical engineer.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Now that I'm at 11 weeks I'm starting to feel a little better but I was nauseous and vomiting all the time. First trimester has not been fun for me. Now I'm a little bit nauseous at night and just exhausted all the time but happy to be turning a corner.

  • Hi I'm Lauren first time pregnant
    Due 20/7/2023!

We found out after I was a few days late on my period and we took a test.

I live with my partner in Manchester, UK we're both health professionals (nurse-me, doctor-him), we are beyond excited and nervous.

I'm health anxious and full of anxiety! I want a kitten but it doesn't feel like the right time to get a pet anymore. We're looking to buy a cute little house to buy together to raise the baby in, and I'm just about to start a new job in end of life care (they don't know I'm pregnant yet)! It's unlikely I'll get paid maternity leave as I'll only have been there 6 months before baby time, just to add the the stressors of life :)
  • Introduce yourself: Hey everyone. My name is Beverly. I’m 31 years old and I’m from Pennsylvania.

    Due date? July 13th

How did you find out? Noticed my period was about to be a week late so I decided to test after giving it a few more days. I was also experiencing breast tenderness and heaviness as well as more fatigue than usual.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):…….
I’m engaged and we have a 9 year old daughter (my daughter’s bio dad is not in the picture so my fiancé adopted her as his own 🥰) we have two dogs, Bella is a 3 year old American pit terrier who is super playful and loving and then there’s our black lab Sturdy who is 1 and he is the sweetest and smartest dog I ever met ☺️ we are also raising a baby turtle 🐢 his name is Greenery.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? My symptoms include nausea here and there throughout the day, it’s actually bad some days and mild other days. I feel like it may be coming to an end because it’s been less frequent. I have food aversions which I am definitely not used to. Certain smells also gross me out. I have cramping and back aches as well as fatigue and constipation. Of course I can’t forget to add the bloating. Emotionally I’m excited and nervous. It’s been 9 years since my last pregnancy and the infant stage was easy with my daughter. With this pregnancy being so much different, I am a little anxious about what’s in store with our new baby. Also, delivery is kind of scaring me as I opted for natural birth again this time. I made it to 8cm with my daughter before asking for the epidural. This time I’ll be having my baby at a birthing center so that won’t be an option unless they transport me to the hospital they are partnered with. I don’t want to punk out lol. I feel like I can do it this time since I will have the support of my partner.
  • Hi, my name is Emilee. This is mine and my husband's first pregnancy. We found out we were pregnant early on in November, but we just found out last week that it's twins. We didn't know that was a possibility so we are still kind of in shock.
Due date is supposed to be around July 22nd but they probably won't let me carry to term.

I felt just different and was late on my period so I took a test and sure enough it was positive! The neat thing is, I found out on my 1st borns birthday so that was a fun secret to share with her. This first trimester’s been a crazy one ive been super nauseous and tired. Ive been having lots of cravings but also lots of food aversions which has made cooking for the family a big challenge. So far so good though 👍🏼

    Introductions:
Hello there, first time mom here!! I'm Kari, 32, loving all the snowy weather right now in Montana.

    Due Date:
Based on the first day of my last period, we originally thought we'd be due around July 21st, though after our second ultrasound on Dec 29, we're due July 31. (Sort of bummed to be bumped back two weeks in the weekly tracker, but the morning sickness definately tracks! Lol)

    How did we find out?
We found out after me having a few weeks of horrible headaches, and even a few migraines. I started to suspect something was different, and them I missed a Menstrual cycle and took a test just before Thanksgiving.

About myself: My husband and I have two doodles, and we like to hike, bake, and swim!

    How are you feeling:
Oh golly, the nausea is strong, all hours of the day! We've learned that eating when I start to feel nauseous helps, and when that doesn't help, walking or swimming helps me feel great! Also very tired, logically I knew the first trimester could be tough, but oh mylanta I wasn't expecting to feel so icky for so long!! Also, feeling a little emotionally bummed since our original due date (based on my last period start) put us at July 21, but the most recent ultrasound bumped us back to July 31. We were just starting to feel safe telling our parents and friends, thinking we were almost 3 months, and then realizing we're barely over 2 months brings back all the anxiety.
  • Introduce yourself: Hi, I’m Yara(39)

Due date? July 24. We laughed when we found out because my birthday is the 25th and one of my sons’ is on the 23rd

How did you find out? I have a history of infertility an inconsistent cycles. I have been testing monthly for years. I was a little more tired than usual by the time I tested this time.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): my husband and I have been married for q6 yrs. This will be baby number 5(pregnancy #8). We have 4 boys ages 15,8,5,3. I have been a SAHM since having our third baby. I love music dancing and food.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?we were actually shocked this time around. I think those initial feeling are starting to fade as we move forward. To be honest this pregnancy has felt much more debilitating than any other. I’m not sure if it’s an age this or if this one is just another different one( as they all are). My symptoms have been so much more extreme than with any of my other kids. On the bright side I’ve been having some better day ,so hopefully, I’m close to passing the peak and I’ll start to feel a little more normal soon.
  • Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Bri, 31 from Los Angeles and a first time mom. (Any other LA/SFV mommas!?)

Due date? EDD is July 30! 🥹

How did you find out? I didn’t find out until 7 weeks! I’m an athlete and I’ve never once had a regular cycle so I gave up tracking in my twenties after I married lol, we have never ‘tried’ to become pregnant but we’re okay if it had happened, six years later it snuck up on us! I was really bloated and felt a weird pull in my stomach when I sneezed one night, couldn’t remember my last period so got a test (my first time ever!) and it took 0.001 seconds to read pregnant. I cried a lot before surprising my husband and now we’re both laughing, nervous and excited about it.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): No other children yet but I’m one of four children so I’ve always wanted a big family! We’ll see if that’s still the case after my first haha. I’m married to my college sweetheart. I’m originally from New Hampshire but have lived in Los Angeles for 8 years now! I’m a Grief Recovery Specialist and Wellness Consultant by day and now a pregnancy researcher by night. 😂

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Emotionally I’m nervous and excited. I needed a brief moment to grieve my low responsibility life before growing a human but deep down I feel it’s time to start the family. I’m excited for what’s ahead and to continue learning all about pregnancy, birth and how to raise up another human! Symptoms have surprisingly been pretty low, bloating at first and sore breasts (or should I say breasts in general?! I’ve never had them before now 🤣) nausea has begun but I’ve been pretty good at keeping it at bay with grazing all day. Also learning to just go with the flow of random sharp pains here and there?! It’s all apart of the journey.
  • Introduce yourself: my name is Megan and this is my first child! I’m 30, married and live in Miami, Fl!
    Due date: 7/20/2023
How did you find out? It all started when I was waking up at 4:30am every morning wide awake and then I started having foggy brain where I couldn’t remember things. I had a friend ask if I was pregnant and I thought I’m only one day late I can’t be pregnant. That afternoon I took 3 tests and they were all positive! I rushed to target to find a fun way to tell my husband. I found a coffee mug that said let the adventure begin and put the tests in the cup. He was overjoyed with the news. He has been wanting to be a dad for so long!

Tell us about yourself? I’m a yogi and entrepreneur. I have a dog named Reggie who I call my first born! He has been so protective and lays on my belly all the time now. I met my husband working on cruise ships and we love to travel the world.

How are you feeling? Omg the morning sickness, why it’s called morning sickness is beyond me because for me it’s been all day every day! Starting to feel better as I’m about to hit 12 weeks but my smell has been so strong and same with my cravings they have been all over the place!
  • Hi I’m Michelle. I’ll be 37 in a few days and this is baby #4 for my husband and I. We recently moved to Texas from Connecticut so this will be my first pregnancy not in Connecticut and I’m a little nervous about all of that.

    due date is July 15th

This pregnancy is a surprise as we were not planning on having any more children, but when we make plans God laughs lol I started not feeling well and having some aversions, to coffee specifically. Once that happened I looked back at when my last period was and realized it had been a while. I took a test the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and that’s how we found out (:

I’m a university professor and my husband is an elementary special education teacher. We have three little girls (6, 4 and 2….soon to be 5 and 3). I also enjoy doing CrossFit

My emotions have been all over the place and morning sickness has been more night nausea and it’s been kicking my ass. Being in a new state and being considered “advanced maternal age” has me feeling concerned. My girls are very excited and have already decided this will be a brother since they already have sisters lol so that has been incredibly enjoyable
    Michelle

  • Introduce yourself: Jenica, 39, FTM

    Due date: ~7/15/23

How did you find out: I ran in to a girlfriend of mine at work and someone's lunch did not smell appetizing to me. She looked at me funny and said "but you love lasagna..." while giving me a funny knowing look. I did the math and checked my tracker app then picked up a test from Target that night and took it in the morning I called my husband up to double check i was reading it right and the rest was history.

My husband and I are elder millennial first time parents. I'll be 40 and he'll be 41when baby is born. We are in the Seattle area and have two small dogs and one big cat. My husband is looking forward to being a stay at home dad and as he puts it "the oldest dad at Tee- ball". I'll continue my career in aerospace leadership that I've been building for the last 15 years.

How are you feeling ? I recently learned I have a "friable cervix" so there is a lot of anxiety around the increased bleeding, but so far all scans have been great and baby boy has been wiggly and healthy. I am very much looking forward to moving into the 2nd trimester and "honeymoon phase".

  • Introduce yourself: Hi! My name is Kyera and I'm 30

    Due date? July 30

How did you find out? Me and my husband went to an Auburn/Alabama game and the next day my pelvic was hurting from all of that walking. It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. My husband and aunt joked about me being pregnant and I decided to take a test to prove them wrong but all 4 test turned out positive.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I work from home; customer service agent. My husband drives trucks. I have 2 other kids premarriage but this will be my husband's first child. My husband is 28. We had a miscarriage in March and wasn't trying to conceive because I was in great depression and wasn't really sexually motivated but I guess the few times we did have intercourse it was meant for me to conceive again.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Nausea 🤮 is one of my big symptoms but other than that I'm fine just tired 😴 Can't wait to meet this miracle
  • Introduce yourself: Hi ladies, My name is Andrea, 32 and im 4 Months.

Due date? 7/4- only god knows why lol 😂

How did you find out? Me and my husband started trying in Sept. And by the end of Oct I was at halloween party and noticed everything just smelled funny. I instantly knew.

I have a 13 year old son we were truly hoping for a girl. But it wasnt in gods plan just yet. So we are expecting a handsome little boy. We have 2 dogs, im currently working from home in HR which has been a blessing. Extremely stress free!

Lately, ive found more time to read, take morning walks, and of course watching my favorite sci-fi shows. Outside of passion for cooking, I enjoy writing and taking long baths.

With my husband working more hours I will say depression and loneliness has taken over a bit. The Heartburn is dreadful and I do my best to not wallow in my sorrows lol a bit dramatic I know; but the mood swings will do it to ya.

Anyways I wish you all the best of luck!
Taking applications for a preggo bestie. 💙

  • Introduce yourself:
Hi, I'm Melissa and I'm currently 36yo from Ontario, Canada.

    Due date?
    July 21

    How did you find out?
We have been trying for over a year, and after an emotional miscarriage last July this one took.  I have been very aware of my body since and decided to do an at home test a week after my missed period (the anxiety of the thought of a positive test was overwhelming at the time), even though I was fairly certain at this point.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
My partner and I have been together 9 years.  No other children, this will be our first.  No pets, although a dog is likely in our distant future, as we both grew up with dogs and love them.  I work in a print shop and my partner works in HVAC.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I honestly feel like crap.  Nausea has been terrible (did a stint in the hospital with an IV for dehydration).  Food is a struggle.  No cravings, but tons of aversions (meat, warm drinks, breads, eggs, anything with refined sugar-which I suppose is a good thing, but I miss my chocolate, lol).  Basically I can eat raw fruits and veggies as well as plain pasta and pizza and cheese for some reason.  Everything else is a no go right now.  Weeks 12-13 things seemed to be getting better, nausea would only be mornings and evenings-got a reprieve in the afternoons-but currently at week 14 and it seems to have ramped up again- nausea all day again.  Exhausted a lot (I go to bed at 7pm most nights).  And i dont sleep well-restless and uncomfortavle, and im not even showing yet.  I have to pee all the time (which isn't really a big deal; no bathroom on my main floor so I get some exercise every time I pee).  Boobs hurt constantly and continue to grow, which has even manageable, but  trying to find maternity/nursing bras is a nightmare, I only have 1 sports bra that I can wear right now.  There are barely any physical stores that carry maternity clothing anymore so everything has to be ordered online and guessing sizing is a joke (I've followed their guides and it doesn't help).  Returns are a pain as well.
Despite that, I am excited, just hoping I get past this stage.
  • @melissa3611 try these maternity/nursing bras:

They have worked wonders for me! The extenders are AMAZING and I feel like my growing boobs are finally supported. Hang in there, 35 FTM here due 7/17 and I've felt pretty crummy myself. Some of the unpleasant symptoms seem to be subsiding but each day brings a new journey!
  • Introduce yourself: Hi Mamas! My name is Brittany. I’m a 27 year old, Capricorn in Atlanta.

Due Date: July 29th (help me Lord 😭)

How did you find out? Well my cycle was suppose to start the week of thanksgiving but came the Saturday before. The only thing is, it was really light and lasted for a few hours. This was complete dejavu from my first pregnancy with my son so I knew something was up. I still held on to hope just in case, but when it never started again, I took a test when we got back home and it was a strong positive.

Tell us about yourself: I have a 6 year old son and excited to welcome my second! My son is happy to be having a little brother and MH is excited to have our first child together. I host a podcast for moms and an advocate for us pursuing our purpose and passions outside of motherhood. I enjoy cooking so much and have been binge watching Masterchef my entire pregnancy so far.

How are you feeling? Im feeling amazing now that I am in my second trimester. My first trimester was rough. I was so nauseous and had bad headaches which made me think I was having a girl. The only thing that’s bugging me now is low back and hip pains which makes it a little hard to sleep at night. Im currently looking for a prenatal chiropractor to help pop me back into place! I made a promise to myself that I would practice self care and do things to make me feel good this pregnancy so I can enjoy it, as I was really depressed with my first one. So far, I’m keeping my word and excited to welcome my second blessing into this world.
  • How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Food aversions are STRONG so far. Nausea and fatigue are also hitting hard. Trying to stay cautiously optimistic until our first appointment later this month. It was such a big let down for our last pregnancy so my husband and I are both being a bit guarded until we see that first ultrasound.
