Had my 24 week appt today and got my zofran prescription renewed. Seriously I need to be done with this. Tuesday morning I was so nauseous, I skipped my coffee and had peppermint tea instead… then vomited so violently I burst blood vessels around my eyes and now it looks like I’ve been crying. What the fuck.
My OB is reassuring though. She told me it’s not uncommon for nausea to make a return around now, because fluids are building up rapidly in your body and if you’re prone to nausea to begin with (which I am, I get car sick easily), nausea can happen after mid-pregnancy too. She did say it’s not uncommon for it to disappear after this stage too which is relieving, at this point I just assumed I’d be stuck with it for the rest of the pregnancy. Fingers crossed she’s right!

@iiirene my heartburn has been bad since like 18 weeks. It's progressively getting worse.
@etnyah last pregnancy my nausea lasted the entire pregnancy, but I'm not sure if that was from GD, my gallbladder issues, or just because. So sorry you are still dealing with it.
@scaredunprepared ugh I’m sorry, that must have been awful! I don’t know a specific cause for it, I doubt I have GD (still haven’t done the glucose test). I’ve noticed it gets worse if I forget to eat and if I haven’t slept well, so I’m trying to manage both of those issues. Eating is easier to stay on top of than sleep for sure. I’m a natural night owl with a son who is also a natural night owl, and my job starts at 7am so…
