PLEASE change your username if you are a “knottie.” We have no way to distinguish you from every other person with “knottie.” Also, it helps to have a unique avatar (photo).
How to change your username: log in to TheKnot, hover over My Knot, and click Account Settings. If you are having issues doing it that way, you can email community@thebump.com and ask them to change your username. Give them a few suggestions just in case your top choice is taken. It may take up to 24 hours for the name to update. You may need to log out and log back in for your new username to appear.
I changed my username a few days ago but it’s still showing up as knottie on my posts. I can’t see how it will show up this time until after I make this post so I’m going to see what happens. I checked my account preferences and my new username is there.
Hi everyone! In order to change your username or edit your general profile, you will need to log in to your account on TheKnot.com. You can use the same email and password that you would normally use to access TheBump.com!! Once you've updated your name on The Knot, come back to The Bump and refresh your profile when prompted!

I finally got mine to change! I had to delete the app, go into the settings on my phone web browser, go to advanced, and then delete the website data for the Knot and the Bump. Then restart my phone, re-download the app, sign in again, and now the username is showing!
Just a reminder to anyone still with a "knottie" username to please change it so it is easier to remember who everyone is and for tags.

hi I requested a change over a week ago and received confirmation. Never happened as far as I can see. Testing here again just in case I’m missing something.
