Re: First trimester symptoms

  • Yessssss this is me exactly. I’m 5weeks and 1 day, or 2, and I can definitely feel my uterus today :)
    and nausea….and cravings for olive..

  • I’m right there with ya! I’m feeling the nausea and bloating full-force 😭 someone recommended iced ginger tea to me for nausea, fingers crossed that helps!
  • Omg this is so me, everything you said.
  • First trimester is full on! Anyone else craving pudding cups lmao? Nausea comes and goes but luckily it’s been manageable. Tried some vitamin C halls that taste great every time it’s overbearing. Also I have been taking so many naps. Anyone else feeling tired too?
  • Bloat is so bad for me. And definitely have cravings now. Which is odd I didn’t have much cravings with my first 3.
  • Bloating is unreal. And so, so tired.

  • I’m 5 weeks today and I’m sooooooo tired!
I have a toddler and I nanny a toddler so they keep me in my toes.

A few days ago I was having some mild cramping, but it went away.
Other than that I don’t feel nauseous yet
  • I’m so incredibly tired. As someone who does not nap, I’ve taken several in the last week!
The bloating is insane and my breasts are very sore. Some slight cramping/pressure on and off the last week.
Slight nausea but definitely strong food aversions. I only want carbs, cheese, and fruit. Craving Cinnamon Toast Crunch with oatmilk and apples 😂 cold ✅ carby ✅ crunchy✅ sweet ✅
  • Anyone else notice an increase in cup size? I went from a C to a D in probably 12 hours. That’s incredible!
  • I am just about to hit 5 weeks and I have probably some of the worst acne in my life ( one of the symptoms that tipped me off on being pregnant!!) my boobs are HUGE, cramping, back pain, nausea , all the symptoms but they come and go. anyone else not expect to be experiencing this so early on?!
  • can I guess that you are having a girl?!  Lol
I swear when I was pregnant with my daughter my acne was sooooo bad!!!
And when my friend got pregnant she has bad acne so I was like “ope it’s a girl, they take your beauty” hahaha
  • I am approaching 5 weeks! I missed my period and knew with how good my mood was, something was up. Found out Sunday. I am feeling bloated, some cramping, light spotting, starving, and so tired. Right now, I’m craving banana peppers. I drink one cup of coffee per day, and I had my first cup since finding out, and I couldn’t stomach it, so I’ll be laying off that. But I’m working regularly and keeping up with chores at the moment, but need to lay down at least once per day.
  • Have any of you experienced dizzy spells? I feel like every time I move or turn my head too fast I get so dizzy! 😭
  • YES! I did not expect this but a friend of mine said she had a similar experience in early pregnancy.
  • @emchambs yes! But I tend to have low blood pressure so that’s probably why? Whenever I get up too fast from saying goodnight to my oldest, I’m like whoa!

  • Phew okay thank you for the reassurance! I thought I was the only one 😅
  • so far... breast tenderness (though that has eased up somewhat), fatigue, moodiness, sense of smell is WAY more intense, and I feel like things seem more... disgusting lately?? Very weird. Also, very thirsty + going to the bathroom a lot. No nausea.
  • I’m 6 weeks today and the nausea started like clockwork. I had fatigue, bloating and breast tenderness prior, all manageable. This nausea today though, oof, I’m so nervous to know it’s going to continue for a bit. How do people have full time jobs and manage all these symptoms?!
  • Is anyone experiencing period like cramps? I am at week 6. They are on and off but no bleeding
  • @glors18 also experiencing this at 6 weeks! from what I gather, light cramping with no bleeding is normal so I think we’re okay!
  • Hey! I'm 4w4d and I have sore boobs and some light cramping too. I also have horrible acne, nausea, and some seriously pregnancy brain already. I swear my brain just floated out of my body haha.
  • 6 weeks today and i woke up to lots of grumbling in my stomach followed up with a sudden urge to use the bathroom...at least no constipation issues for me so far haha
  • My nausea at 7 weeks is dreadful... I have been reliant on Preggo Pops to calm my stomach, especially while at work. Especially since it seems frowned upon for me to sit for a few minutes here and there.
And the constipation is on and off. I am a person that has rarely to never had constipation so it's neem different dealing with it!
  • Currently 5w6d and the nausea has hit me hard! Also my boobs are swollen and tender, and I’ve never been so exhausted! Glad these symptoms are only temporary
  • I am currently 4w4d and my only symptoms so far are incredibly sore breasts (ouch!!) and some fatigue. I’m dreading the nausea and vomiting. Fingers crossed it just skips me over …

7 weeks currently! Symptoms began with boob tenderness then went to feeling really bloated to nausea and fatigue. Haven't actually thrown up so thankful for that. Ordered some of the preggie pops that are highly rated... hoping they will help throughout the day. Mine tends to hit in the afternoon. Oh! Another odd thing is that I have wanted a lot of salty type foods: salty nuts, popcorn, soups, dill pickles, etc. Generally love sweets but haven't cared for them lately.
  • Ginger beer and my husband ordered a relief band that is a watch which sends pulses that curbs the nausea.  I work in a restaurant and being around food makes nausea that much worse. Lately I have only been able to eat a couple bites for each meal which is super frustrating getting excited for a meal and not truly be able to enjoy it.
  • Feeling absolutely terrible. Found out I have Covid and I’m pregnant and the symptoms together are overwhelming. Anyone else navigating this??
  • @bellefleursauvage I got Covid last week. Luckily, I had gotten a booster in September so it wasn't as severe as it could've been. I find that the coughing is definitely making my nausea worse so I'm taking a cough suppressant as needed. My doctor said I can take Delsym and that's been helpful. And zyrtec to help with the congestion. I'm 9 days out from first showing symptoms and getting a lot better now.
  • Last week I could not eat anything! I would be oh soooo hungry!! Get a plate after making the food sit down to eat, eat 2 bites and wham! I’m full! Can’t eat anymore & can’t drink any water bec I’m sooo full! Two bites! Every time
  • Oh my gosh. The fatigue is insane. I saw a girl share that she's so tired she feels sedated and I'm so glad to hear it because that's exactly how I've felt the last few days. 9 weeks today. I'm also feeling nausea and lightheadedness. I just want to sleep! First appointment Wednesday.
  • I'm 8w 2d and just nausea 24/7...only thrown up a couple times but the nausea never goes away! Also headaches and breast soreness
  • 9+4. The fatigues is getting better, but still super nauseous. I find sipping a ginger ale through the day helpful. I have headaches, pregnancy rhinitis, constipation, moodiness, and breast pain as well. My nose is on overdrive (can barely change my 2 yr olds diapers) and I have had some random cravings.
  • Have you noticed reduced breast tenderness? Mine were so painfully tender and sore but it has eased up a bit. I’ll be 10 weeks tomorrow!
  • Definitely have noticed breast tenderness at week 8. This is my second pregnancy this year and last time I went up 2 cup sizes in a week. At least it's been a little slower this time around! 😂
  • Same here! Mine are calming down too - glad we’re not alone! 10+2 today :)
  • @beadorie 8 wks and 5 days here! You're the closest I've found to my own so far.
  • Check out reliefband.com I ordered one early on and it sends pulses and helps take the edge off the nausea.  Also ginger beer and sparkling water has helped me.
  • Ladies, I had the WORST nausea beginning last week, all day each day, and my doctor recommended Bonine. It's a chewable tablet that you can buy anywhere and it lasts for 24 hours. It has been a game changer. I finally feel normal! If you are like me and tried other things that didn't work this might be for you!
