Girl Name (our decision)

Our next girl will be here in January and we wanted to name her something to honor my late FIL who passed when my husband was in college.
His name was Lionel and his friends called him Leo.
After much debate we decided to go with Leah Claire. (Claire is my middle name and my mothers name so she would have a name from both sides, just like our older daughter who is McKenzie, after my maiden name and Joy after my MIL).

So we would have McKenzie and Leah.

Thougts on Leah Claire?

I like Leah Claire.

You might also consider Leona to honor Leo. More closely matched and I feel like it goes better with McKenzie, not that it matters that much and not that Leah doesn't go well- just tossing it out there

Super cute name! And you also have the option to do Lea instead of Leah if you want to have a closer spelling to Leo

Leah is my sister’s name and her daughter’s middle name is Claire. I love it!!
