Is a LACK of symptoms normal? I've had two days now with just sore breasts and nothing else and I'm almost paranoid about it. I am only 5 weeks though. I did another pregnancy test last night and yep, still pregnant lol
@casshax I'm not feeling much other than super bloated and pretty tired. Definitely no nausea yet. I looked back through my journal from my last pregnancy and I still had no symptoms at 6+5 last time around! So normal I think.
@casshax yes it can definitely be normal to have close to no symptoms! I didnt have any symptoms but sore breasts with my first with some food aversions sprinkled in here and there.
Sore boobs are no fun, even less fun after I cut it too close walking in a room and bumped them on the door frame lol and the cramps are real. Not frequent but pretty intense. Little one must be making a lot of room in there!
Anyone else feeling especially irritable or grumpy at week 6 (or beyond)? I can't decide if it's just me or if hormones have decreased my patience, but I'm basically done with all of my coworkers this week . 😆
@kweller2019 I wouldn’t call it pain but my main symptom seems to be constant gas bubbles rumbling around in my stomach. It almost feels like nausea because it feels like my stomach is unsettled but it doesn’t feel like actual nausea.
Boobs are solid and tender to touch. Gassy, I am a hair stylist so having to hold it in around clients and then having the worst pain until I can finally relax and pass it 🥴. Hungry ALOT! Water helps. I have cravings already, but not that I want to pig out. I just want a bite or two of whatever I’m craving then I’m fine. Most importantly, I miss margaritas. Lime popsicles have been my saving grace!
Guys. I am SO TIRED. Like, can barely function 80% of the day. By the time my two littles are ready for bed I am falling asleep reading to them 😅. My 9 year old patted me on the cheek last night because in the middle of her story I fell asleep.
I know it gets better and I’m glad to have symptoms but this momma needs a nap.
I am soooo envious!! Each night, I say to myself, "I hope I can sleep the entire night." I have been waking up around 3am Every. Single. Day. for a couple of weeks now. 😩 I promise I don't need the practice for when the babe comes. Promise.
Nausea decided to enter my life at 7.5 weeks. Different than last pregnancy. I had no idea so many kinds of nausea existed. This one makes my stomach turn and my mouth get watery but I’m able to do things and eat. Last time was like constant motion sickness and I couldn’t eat.
I’m also napping all of the time. If I don’t nap then I won’t get things done.
And I’m waking up with horrible dry mouth, every morning.
and the weirdest one that I got last time and this time is that dairy leaves a horrible aftertaste in my mouth- even fake dairy (oat milk) I can’t eat or drink it.
Well 6 weeks was yesterday and the daily nausea started. I feel like I could throw up any time I look too closely at a toilet. Tooth brushing is hard.
First pregnancy things changed their taste, specifically chicken became terrible, but now any protein sounds really good and settles my nausea. I usually have a pretty big sweet tooth but I feel like carbs don’t settle my nausea so they’re not as appealing. I run out of energy really early every day, I’m going to bed a couple hours earlier than usual and sleeping >8 hours a night but still it’s like hitting a wall every evening.
This pregnancy is so much different than my first. Currently just have breast tenderness, fatigue, & some cramping in the lower pelvic region (which tends to stay on just the left side). I’m only 5 weeks and 4 days so we’ll see what week 6&7 brings.
Ugh, same here. MIL has two cats and usually I can't smell them, but the cat stench was so strong in her house yesterday that I had to lie down in her bedroom.
Nausea is fortunately staying mild, but most of what my body thinks I want to eat doesn't taste right. My only real aversion is bacon unless it's completely crisped.
The nausea began on Saturday. With my daughter, I had a little mid morning nausea. This weekend I couldn't eat after 3pm any day because I would lose it.
My legs are aching so badly. It gets worse each day and is keeping me up at night. It’s like my hips down to my knees. Has anyone experienced this? Other than that my breasts are just a little sore. I’ve had maybe two bouts of nausea but I imagine it will get worse over the next week.
Haha I went grain-free for about 5 months before I got pregnant. I lost weight and felt so good!
Now I'm finding that bread makes me feel better... had a mega cravings for bagels and cream cheese and it made me feel really good!
Now I'm trying to balance it by making fresh vegetable chicken soup, with a grilled cheese on the side! Trying to get all the nutrients... but I'll add in the bread if I have to haha
Hi. I’m tired. Also the word tired doesn’t even do it justice. And nauseous. For which I started b6/unisom and it’s only been a day but I feel like it’s working!!
Last week (at 7 weeks) I was so incredibly nauseous and had a heightened sense of smell. Opening the fridge made me nauseous with the smell of all the food in there. I have had some cramping and am tired but have been waking up every single night to pee. Nausea is worst in the morning and sometimes I can eat some Cheerios in bed and be fine and other days I throw up whatever I have for breakfast. Then over the weekend the symptoms almost disappeared- very little nausea. So of course I was freaking out even after having an early ultrasound last week and seeing the heartbeat. But yesterday the nausea came back full force and I had a metallic taste in my mouth all day. We will see what the next few days bring!
@casshax My nose has been dry also! Like I already need a humidifier at night when I normally don't do that until it's cold enough to turn the heat on.
@catem07 I normally love cooking but am feeling too blah to put much effort in. Have you made anything great lately?
@radioactivet I made the butter chicken recipe from Americas test kitchen the other day. I LOVE it but it’s a fair amount of work. Will feed 2 adults for two meals though. I’m going to make enchiladas this weekend.

I feel so tired by 2-3 pm EVERY day. I’m constipated, low level nausea, and i crave nothing besides fresh veggies and pringles. I eat a few bites then want nothing. My anxiety is at an all time high too, like right when I wake up my heart pounds. 🙃

is it possible to have indigestion from air? I’m pretty sure it is.
