Upcoming Appointments: 7/27 for my first!

How are you feeling?: nausea has kicked up a bit more. I just need to eat more often and stay on top of my constipation 🙈

Rants/Raves: my son (3) has been having a lot of issues with anxiety and behavior. My husband left for the weekend to go do something out of town and he was back to his normal self. My husband's been out of work for 2 months due to some health issues and the behavior has amplified during that time. I think it's my husband that's adding to the anxiety and behavior problems. He worked so much before that it was pretty much me for all childcare stuff. So this is making a lot of sense. I just don't know the solution.

How are you feeling?: tired. Extremely nauseous off and on. Super smell.

Rants/Raves: I had no intention on telling anyone at our church (very, very close knit) that I was pregnant yesterday. Well I got super nauseous and had to walk out then had a birthday party for my youngest afterwards and couldn't eat anything and was feeling pretty gross so now like half our church knows. Rant- everyone knows, Raves- everyone knows and has been surprisingly excited and supportive so far for being #7.

Upcoming Appointments: I'm HR, so I have a bunch booked for next month. OBGYN and then one with each of my specialists.

How are you feeling?: Tired, nauseous and thirsty-- but plain water is 🤢.

Rants/Raves: Daycare... already. My best friend is the only one we've told so far and she recommended I start looking for daycares now because in our area some can have a 12 month wait! Looked up a few in our area and she's 100% right. WTF? It's insane. 🤣🤣

Upcoming Appointments: bloodwork today and dating ultrasound next week!!!

How are you feeling?: kinda gross. I think the iron in my prenatal is causing me digestive issues. So I'm going to try to find an easier one to take.

Rants/Raves: I'm so nervous about every little thing right now. Mostly I'm hoping a midwife will see me and they'll open the L&D ward back up in my town before I give birth.

Upcoming Appointments: Today! Getting my symptoms checked out since I have a history of ovarian cysts erupting.

How are you feeling?: Nauseous. Normally it lasts all morning and stops around 3ish, but yesterday it was an all day affair. Yesterday was rough. I woke up from a long nap and felt off. I had diarrhea and the sweats as I tried to vomit. That only lasted for about 10 minutes, and then I was cold for the rest of the evening. No fever, bleeding or cramping though. I did have a tender spot around my left side, but it stopped once gas was relieved. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have a history or ovarian cysts erupting, so I hope that’s it…but I know it could be an etopic. Just something to keep an eye on.

Rants/Raves: I hate the food mental block. I know I need to eat, but food doesn’t sound good…or if it does it makes me nauseous.

How are you feeling?: Eh, kind of gross but not awful. Exhausted, waves of nausea, super smell and congestion, tender/full boobs, low cramps/pinches

Rants/Raves: I'm just so happy we're pregnant and praying for a healthy pregnancy and babe.

@auriculatus are you looking for just iron or a new prenatal? The LD department closed in my town when my DD2 was born. I think it opened then closed again. But my MW moved clinics and I don't know if she has privileges there anymore. I really didn't enjoy driving 45 minutes while in labour.

EDD / Weeks + Days: March 16, 5w4d

Team blue/pink/green: not sure yet.

Upcoming Appointments: 20th for my naturopath appointment to get my hormones tested. I had a MMC my last pregnancy because my hormones were too low. I've been working on raising them for months and was giving the ok, but still have to test through out the pregnancy. Then my MW appointment on the 27th.

How are you feeling?: very tired and my boobs are insanely sore. I'm not nauseous which makes me very anxious. I was nauseous with DD2, but wasn't with the MMC. I'm telling myself that I'm only 5wks so hopefully it will kick in within the next few days and give me some relief.

Rants/Raves: my boobs and fricken HUGE already. DH and my friends commented on them. And I now only have one bra that fits and it didn't fit me 3 weeks ago.

EDD / Weeks + Days: March 9 - 6 weeks+4 days

Baby is the size of a(n): Apparently the height of a Reese's PB Cup, this is a measurement I can get behind!

Team blue/pink/green: Team either/or; looking forward to finding out at 20 week scan! I have a feeling it's a girl but I'm sure it's just habit from referring to my former pregnancy.

Upcoming Appointments: Next u/s with the fertility docs on August 1 (~8.5 weeks) and need to schedule my 1st appt with midwives. Rumor has it they're super booked up so I'm a little nervous on timing.

How are you feeling?: Super fatigued, headaches every afternoon, and always hungry but nothing ever sounds appealing, so I'm eating lots of freeze pops. Though I'm about run to ChikFilA because a sandwich + milkshake sounds so fucking good right now. ...Now to see if I can make it there in the 30 min between meetings

Rants/Raves: Rant: While on vacation we had a huge storm here and our neighbor's tree smashed our fence. Naturally they're neighbors we don't like so it's extra frustrating to deal with. Raves: Had my first ultrasound today and everything looks awesome. Such a relief!

GTKY: What is your little ones nickname right now? My husband and I were just discussing this! We call it "this one" because we can't use the word "baby" freely lest our daughter (7) overhears before we tell her. I def want to get a good nickname to use more, though!

How are you feeling?: better than last week. I think my smell is up though... lunch didn't smell good at all and peoples lunches at the break table are overpowering

Rants/Raves: rave to get to meet a midwife who does VBACS and will come to my town

EDD / Weeks + Days: 7 weeks, honestly can’t remember current due date but March 5 sounds right

Team blue/pink/green: husband wants to find out, I don’t. We will see who gives in.

Upcoming Appointments: July 26 my 8 week ultrasound to check for a heartbeat.

How are you feeling?: I had a fantastic sleep last night, woke up and felt GREAT and figured something went wrong lol so took another test and it was very dark haha. Now I’m super again so that’s great.

Rants/Raves: rant- feeling so nauseas. Nothing helps but I did sleep so good last night so I think a bowl of cereal before bed, after my progesterone, really helped. RAVE- going for a 90 minute massage today. Hoping my massage therapist has a plan so I don’t have to lay down flat on my stomach because I fear I’ll puke.

Questions: when the hospital called about the 8 week ultrasound, they specially said it’s not for a dating scan, just to check for a heartbeat. My family dr wasn’t going to schedule a dating scan since we both assumed the fertility clinic would arrange that. Should I 1- ask the tech during the ultrasound to just turn it into a dating scan? Or 2- call my family dr and request yet another ultrasound (I love them of course) since they said it wouldnt include the dating scan.

@babymac4321 you can ask them to turn it into a dating scan but might be a separate or different order and they might not be able to do that within their scope of practice. That might have to come from the doctor

Upcoming Appointments: Not until August 9 😩 longest wait ever. I’ll be 10 weeks!

How are you feeling?: today is the worst I’ve felt all pregnancy with queasiness 🤢 I have never actually vomited or come that close with nausea but the feeling of just yuck is horrible! I definitely have an aversion to leftovers (or at least the smell of them reheated) which I had last pregnancy too. Just not this early on lol.

Rants/Raves: my rant is basically the all day queasiness. My rave is that I think my son will be easy to potty train and earlier than we thought because he now tells us any time he poops!

Questions: what are your fave things to eat when nauseous? I have like zero appetite for dinner and I haven’t had an actual dinner all week.

Rants/Raves: We told our kids last night and they are beyond excited! It has been so sweet to watch their excitement. My daughter is hoping for a sister and my son is hoping for a brother. I don’t want to disappoint either of them 😅

How are you feeling?: Oh man. So nauseated.

Rants/Raves: I got a new office at work. I like it! It's really big with a giant window with a nice view... But is also the office farthest away from the bathroom, which is not great with the nausea.

Questions: Anyone else have no appetite now? All food sounds absolutely horrible.

GTKY: What is your little ones nickname right now? We don't have one, which is weird because we nickname everything. I think once we hit second trimester we will be a little more likely to do this.

How are you feeling?: Very very nauseous

Rants/Raves: rant: more of a "what the heck" than a rant but my best friend who knows I'm pregnant invited me to a girl's night and after I decided to go, I asked her what they wanted to do and she said wine tasting 🤔
Also screw this heat. It's been awful for my morning sickness.

Rave: DH keeps saying he doesn't want to get excited or make a big deal about being pregnant until we've had multiple ultrasounds but today he paused his show just to randomly spend an hour making a detailed baby name list

Upcoming Appointments: Need to schedule a doctor appt for 6+ weeks

How are you feeling?: Slightly crampy and my boobs are tender. Other than that, just fine.

Rants/Raves: Our pregnancy wasn’t really planned and we have a wedding date set for June 10th. Still in shock and trying yo figure out what to do about our wedding. Not really a rant or a rave but advice welcomed.

@auriculatus iron is the worst. I have to take an additional supplement on top of my prenatal and I hate it. Some brands are definitely better than others tho so try switching it up!

@heytallmama I could go for some pb cups right now…. Or a milkshake…

@youcanhavemanhattan yes to the lack of appetite! I’m driving my husband nuts cause he just wants me to eat ANYTHING and I can’t stand the thought

Upcoming Appointments: First prenatal is scheduled for 9w4d

How are you feeling?: I’m doing alright. I have a lot of anxiety since this is my first pregnancy after having a chemical pregnancy. But symptom wise I have on and off mild cramping, my hips are kind of sore and sensitive, my boobs are a little sore, headaches all day, burping, I have this weird pit in my stomach no matter how much I eat, I’m tired lot, I wake up in the middle of the night to pee drink water and the not sleep for at least an hour, and I wake up 2 hours earlier than I used to. But no serious nausea yet. It sounds like a lot but it is all mild so I’m not complaining.

Rants/Raves: We haven’t told many people. Basically, my sister and father only. But I found out today that my sister told her son who is only 2 (almost 3) and now I’m worried we might have to tell that it’s not happening anymore if something goes wrong. Or that he will tell my grandmother or other people in our family that I’m not ready to tell. Obviously, I wouldn’t be mad at him, but I’m a little annoyed at her right now. I’ve asked her not to bring it up to him anymore. Hopefully, he just forgets for now.

Questions: I bought plane tickets for a wedding the day before I found out I was pregnant. I’ll be at 14w4d when we head out. I’m feeling like I don’t want to fly being pregnant and maybe even if it was close I wouldn’t go because of Covid. But it’s my husband’s best friend from childhood (best man at our wedding) and she is probably my closest friend where we live. We were also planning on going to Ireland for our 5 year anniversary/1 year wedding anniversary. We were suppose to go for our honeymoon but decided not to because of Covid. Any advice about flying while pregnant?

Be about 24 weeks I think. I’m just hoping my dress will have enough stretch room in the front 🤦🏼‍♀️ We already have two kids so the wedding has been a long time coming. But it’s still a lot of logistical things to think about. Good luck

Team blue/pink/green: I so want a girl! I would still love to have another little boy (I have 2 little boys already), but I have a feeling I will cry a little bit if I don’t have a girl. My husband and I agreed that this will be our last one.

Upcoming Appointments: 8/1 for my first appointment and ultrasound

How are you feeling?: all my symptoms come and go. I have a mild headache almost every day though.

Rants/Raves:

Questions: is anyone else seriously showing? I have a huge belly already. I am very short (5 foot tall) and this is the skinniest I have ever been, but it took me several weeks longer to show with my previous two pregnancies. I don’t just have a small bump in my lower belly, my whole belly is rounded up to my rib cage. It doesn’t look or feel like any bloat I have ever had.

GTKY: What is your little ones nickname right now? We typically call it The Baby, or #3 if our other two little ones are around since we haven’t told them yet.

Upcoming Appointments: interviewed another midwife last night and I’m pretty solid I’m going with her so I’ll schedule an intake appointment soon!

How are you feeling?: last week was rough in the morning sickness department. This week has had minimal nausea *knock on wood* but still puke every other morning. Exhausted beyond belief

Rants/Raves: I’m getting impatient to find out what this bubs gender is!!!! Aghhhhh! Lol

Upcoming Appointments: Visit with a nurse next week. Won’t see the doctor until mid August.

How are you feeling?: This week I have felt so overwhelmed.

Rants/Raves: Rave: I think the universe knew I needed a bit of a break this week. My schedule at work hasn’t been bad and my patients have all been great.

Rants: I just feel like such a low functioning adult lol. Always tired and nothing sounds good to eat. Meat has been a big aversion lately. New this week was coffee not sounding good. A travesty! 😭

Questions: Any lunch recommendations? I’m struggling with packing lunches for work.

How are you feeling?: pretty good still, just vaguely nauseous especially if I don’t eat enough. Nothing sounds great but I have to! Also I get tired pretty easily. I’m very nervous for morning sickness to get worse since it’s still so early…
