When are you supposed to remove the newborn insert from the car seat?

I’m finding mixed info about when to take out the newborn padding from the car seat. When did y’all do it? TIA

Depends on the manufacturer. Ours was 8lbs! If it doesn't say directly on the insert, I'd try to look up online or call the manufacturer!

I agree with pajamstagrams. Ours says 8lbs on the infant insert, so it would depend on what car seat you have.
