I need some help

I’m going to try and keep it short but there’s a lot behind my questions. I got 5 positive pregnancy test 06/26/22. Same day me and bd had sex, and I noticed some light pink discharge when I wiped the next day just once. I am insured how far along I am because I had my period from 05/01 to 05/22, and also took the pill for that same period of time. I started the pill to help regulate my period after not seeing it for 2 months. I went to the ER 05/10 for abdominal pain and pregnancy test came back negative. Also took another test 06/22 because I wanted to double check since my period was so irregular, and got a negative. On 06/26 when I finally got a positive me and bd were really excited until I noticed the discharge. This morning I notice some more and also felt some light period like cramping so I decided to go to the ER. Both urine and blood test came back positive and blood was reading hcg level 608. They gave me a transvaginal US but according to the Dr the did not see any signs of baby in uterus or Fallopian tubes, she kept insisting I had a miscarriage but I have NOT bleed since 05/22. Has anyone experienced this?

    Stop going to the ER. None of what you’ve posted sounds like an emergency. You’re wasting their time and whatever your ER copay is. Call and schedule an appointment with an ob/gyn or midwife.

    Sorry you are going through this. Agree with po- get an appointment with your OB or PCP. Another blood test will show a change in HCG and give a clearer picture. After I had a missed miscarriage (no bleeding) my hcg was high and I still got positive tests later.

    the second blood draw could also show a growth in HCG … start with contacting your doctor. 

    Again - so stressful and hard. I’m sorry.

    Thank you for your understanding. I went to the ER because this is my fourth pregnancy and I have miscarriage the past 2. This baby is very much wanted and I needed some peace of mind.

    Having a history of miscarriage is even more reason to be working with a competent OB. The ER might give you a feel good ultrasound but they likely won’t prescribe you progesterone or test your other hormones or do anything that will actually be able to give you answers as to why you have repeat pregnancy loss. Most offices can get you in quickly for an emergency.

    Sex and vaginal US can both irritate your cervix and cause bleeding.
