@tessiesmom26 I've been kicking myself...3 weeks ago I was going through old baby stuff and threw a lot of stuff away trying to accept that we would have an only child...one of those things was my pillow. I MISS IT!!!
@TInman87 Gah! That sucks! I'm sorry for you about that one.

5w4d today and I’ve been so crampy all day! From what I’ve read this is normal. I didn’t know I was pregnant last time until 7.5 weeks so I can’t remember if I had cramps at 5w4d.
Not painful… just constant & I’m bloated.
I thought the nausea had started this morning because I was dizzy, but that’s gone away.
Hi! Newbie here. 1st pregnancy (had a chemical pregnancy last month) and I’m just shy of 5 weeks. So far, only symptoms are sore boobs, and consistent light cramps. Doesn’t feel like waves of cramps like menstrual cramps. It feels more like a constant soft tension. Have had some very slight constipation and fatigue. Otherwise, just trying to stay positive and not worry that something will go wrong. ❤️
So this exhaustion... besides naps and rest, what is every one doing to keep moving? I went to fold towels in the dryer and now feel completely wiped out. This can't continue, I have so much to do!
7w5d….pretty sure I need to buy some new bras! I did purge/sell my maternity nursing bras after my third (which I’m regretting!), and I may go on Amazon and buy the exact same ones I had, because my boobs are just…so much bigger so much sooner, lol.
@TInman87 I’m always super exhausted with pregnancy, and there truly are no tricks, just getting through it. Lowering standards due to pregnancy exhaustion is great practice for lowering standards with each kiddo and during the newborn stage, ha. I also need to rest more sooner, and just…do. I still feel slightly badly just sitting down for a bit (and earlier in the evening than I normally would) when there’s more to do, and my husband is doing things…but growing a whole entire person from scratch in only 9 months is A LOT of work and takes A LOT of energy.
7w1d here 4th kid. Different symptoms this time around! No hunger lol just freezing all the time and crazy amount of bathroom trips, opposite of constipation. Unlimited amount of gas and boobs already gained 2 inches I hate it!
My whole body feels like I just did a triathlon. For the record, I most certainly did not do that. I barely got off my couch today. But my sore arm, back and leg muscles feel like they did! I remember having sore legs randomly with previous pregnancies but not this early and not all over. So weird
@TInman87 I embrace the fatigue 😂. The energy will return eventually. So, basically, I’m horizontal on the couch as often as my kids will let me.
@kristinl492 I'm trying to embrace it, it's not often we have such an excuse! Side note, yall are all dealing with constipation, I'm having quite the opposite. I'm usually a very constipated person, but I'm the most regular I've been in years...I'm wondering if it's the progesterone supplements?
@TInman87 omg, I wonder if that’s the case??? That would make a lot of sense. I have epilepsy and my hormones definitely affect my seizures (regardless of being pregnant). I wonder if I should ask about taking progesterone for all of these things! Will they likely test my progesterone level at my first office visit next week?
@cpk3535 I also have epilepsy. If you haven't already, you should ask you neurologist if it's necessary to check you med levels. Your body can metabolize it differently when you're pregnant so they may have to adjust your dosage here and there.
6w+2 feel so nauseous w/o vomiting. Having trouble getting myself to eat and drink. Sore abdomen and back. Just feeling all around miserable and not sure how to keep this a secret when I need to be out around people this week.
I’m 5w6d and I’m experiencing waves of nausea (definitely manageable), fatigue, disorientation, the thought of food is grossing me out, the worst acne of my life, sore boobs (especially near my armpits), mild cramping in my abdomen and super sore hips (especially on my left side back and front of my hip). Anyone else struggling with their hips feeling sore?
I didn’t imagine feeling like this so early on, but this is my first pregnancy so I wasn’t sure what I was really expecting I guess 😂 just surprised that I’m feeling so much so early on… also I’m feeling soooo hyper emotional and sensitive (even more than my usual 😂)
Idk if it's from being tired, the hormones, or all of the upcoming life changes (moving to new house next week, wedding in a month) but I find myself irritated and annoyed this past week especially. Maybe some extra sleep and exercise will help but I can tell I have little patience. And my boobs hurt and my clothes are already tight. I wish I could be one of those women who love being pregnant and have such a beautiful experience but right now I just want to be left alone and sleep all day lol.
Is anyone having loose stools/diarrhea? A week ago I was having more constipation but now everything is loosey goosey over here 😂 I’m 5 weeks and a few days.
Doctor suggested possibly going to ER for fluids since I've been throwing up so much (5 times yesterday, 1 time today so far). I'm on medication but it isn't helping much. My pee isn't *that* dark (I've been able to keep down a tiny bit of liquid), but it isn't clear either and I figure better safe than sorry right?? Not like it could hurt, right?
I am deep in pregnancy brain. For me, it's manifesting as simply using the wrong word in sentences. Like today, I was saying "she was asking" and I said "she was acting." Yesterday, it was "the door is open" when I meant "the window is open." And I don't even notice I've done it! Anyone else misplaced their ability to speak?
@emy162 I totally think if your doctor suggests it, you should go for it. Hopefully it will make you feel a little less nauseated, if you can get rehydrated.
@Paturkey 100% yes to mixing up words in speech - already having ADHD and that tendency + pregnancy brain is making me do that all over the place, especially by afternoon when I’m exhausted.
@Paturkey I've had trouble thinking of words. Like I was talking to someone about my plants and totally forgot the word "fertilizer" yesterday.
Is anyone else having what feels like "Restless Leg Syndrome"? It usually happens when I'm reclined on the couch or in bed. It is like I have a buzz from my hips down. I am just laying in bed swishing my legs back and forth. And sometimes it is so bad, I can't even have the covers on me.
I'm replying to myself here, but just wanted to say, I ordered this cream from 8 Sheep Organics that is supposed to help with the RLS. If anyone else has this issue, I'm happy to report back on the effectiveness. https://www.fithealthymomma.com/8-sheep-organics-review/
8w2d today. Never really had bad nausea this time which is the opposite of my last pregnancy 12 yrs ago! I'm pretty tired and hungry all the time! Boobs are huge and sore. Also more in the mood this time around and pregnancy brain is real.
Hey! I’m 5 weeks and 4 days and my symptoms are definitely sore breasts, gas, mild cramping, and a subtle queasiness throughout the day. Another weird thing I’m having, which I thought came later in pregnancy, is that I’m having awful reflux in the evening. I’m a first time mom so I’m not super well versed in all of the pregnancy symptoms, but is that normal to have reflux this early on?
Anyone else panic slightly when you wake up and symptoms are all the sudden milder? I didn't wake up at 3am with insomnia like usual, my breasts aren't quite as sore, I'm not as bloated and my bladder didn't feel like it was going to explode overnight. Such a weird thing to be upset about feeling physically better...love the early pregnancy dance
Pregnant with my 4th - almost 9 weeks - my lower stomach is so huge already (I mean, not like 9 months pregnant huge, but I’m short and short-torsoed, so already visibly showing), and my rib cage is expanding already. 😳 My body is like, yep, I remember exactly what we do here! Literally zero idea how we are going to be around family this weekend and next weekend without anyone noticing….
@runningyogimama same here, almost 9 weeks and have been with my family all week, so I had to tell them. My mom was like - "are you sure there aren't two in there?!" By the end of the day my lower belly is poppin...
Walking out to the parking garage at the end of the work day has me huffing and puffing like I sprinted the whole way. I hate the short of breath feeling!
@runningyogimama I was diagnosed with adult ADHD a few months ago and was successfully on meds until I found out I was positive. How do you deal with ADHD during pregnancy?
@jennykatedvm my symptoms ebb and flow around here. I usually wake up feeling NO bloat, and books barely sore, then everything starts coming back throughout the day
Has anyone had nausea that’s disappeared? At 6 weeks my nausea came and lasted until 6 weeks 4 days and then the past 3 days no nausea. Not even when I wake!
@TInman87 same here! Just past the 8 week mark and have absolutely reverted back. Was a late ADHD diagnosis a year ago, started taking meds and completely changed my outlook on what I’ve been doing my whole life (for the better). Within the past year though my work has been great, leadership wants me to do more and has been supportive in my growth. I work at an accounting firm and it’s always fast paced and stressful. I’m also studying for the CPA exam, 2 down 2 to go when I found out I’m pregnant and have to pass them by September of this year.
To say it’s been a struggle without meds would be an understatement. And all advice/recommendations would be great! I know I’m doing the right thing, but sometimes workload, increased responsibilities at work, and not pressure just makes me very stressed with high anxiety which isn’t good either!
@salmabah I was in the same boat when I had my first but without the diagnosis. I passed the 3rd exam during the pregnancy and ended up passing the 4th a few months after she was born. It was rough, but it's doable. You can do it!!
My skin is breaking out. I feel like I have to eat everything or I'll be sick and then I feel sick after I eat. I have all sorts of anxiety. Does the 4 year old breaking the new TV count as a symptom? Because it feels like one... especially now that everyone has to do Legos on the dining room table since there's no TV. I think it'll be good for everyone but right now it feels like a symptom. 🤣😭
