@__heatherc yes, I feel mine low most of the time. My 20w US showed he is upside down with his arms down low and his legs up my my belly, so I normally feel stronger kicks up high (from his legs) and then smaller movement low (little punches). He definitely could have moved in the last week but I still interpret him to be in a similar position based on movements.
@jhysmath good to know! I am hoping for a college student and there seem to be plenty around on care. Most of the faculty I know opt for the daycare on campus but they all complain about how expensive it is and how not-impressed they are with the new director for the price tag.

We got so drunk we put a chair threw the wall of his friends new house while he proposed to me. I stayed the night with him. We have been inseparable ever since. 𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: How did you and your significant other meet? We met working at the same hardware store almost 20 years ago now. I was dating someone at the time but always thought he was cute and funny. We became work friends but that was about it, and I ended up leaving for 2 years and coming back right before I graduated college. I had just broken up with my ex, and my now-husband was a manager now at the store. He saw me applying and we started chatting, he asked me what was new and I uncontrollably blurted out, "I'm single!" He looked shocked (I'm sure I did too) and we sort of glossed over it. A week later he asked me for my number, we went on our first date where they had to kick us out of the bar after it closed because we were still talking, and we've been basically inseparable since.

@dvmmomma I believe between 26 and 30 weeks they like to do that. Normally it's at the 28 week appointment. I'm thinking about asking at the 24 week one to schedule it or get a meter because I want to get that all taken care of before I move if it happens. The fact this baby is already measuring larger than my giant baby is worrying me and I know if I am testing constantly and seeing spikes I'll be more apt to eat correctly.

We met the first time at church. His family was visiting the west coast. He was 16, I was almost 19. I got to be friends with his older sister. He was quiet so I never got to know him very well then but tagged along with us the 2 weeks they were in town. Fast forward a year and he came back as an exchange student. My group of friends invited him to hang out with us and since I lived the closest to his host family, it made sense that I'd pick him up and drop him off. He liked me but I didn't think much of him other than a good friend until half way through the year. Then we waiting another 9 weeks for him to turn 18 to start dating. Didn't want to rob the cradle afterall😂 then we dated for 2.5 years long distance before we finally got to get married in December 2019. I'm so glad we got married then because I can't imagine being 4000 miles away from him during covid where travel was impossible.

𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: How did you and your significant other meet? I sort of went to college early my senior year. I only had one high school class left so I took it online while attending college. Hah, well I met his best friend while playing pool in the game room at college and thought he was really cute. One day he asked if I wanted to ride with him to pick up a friend (my husband) and I said yes. At first, I thought he was super annoying and he would hit me up on Facebook all the time. He finally asked for my number and I figured it wouldn’t hurt since his best friend and I didn’t really work out. He ended up being my prom date because my best friend really wanted me to go to our senior prom. We dated for a few months, but we were both young and heading in different directions. We remained somewhat friends for about 5 years and I went through an awful marriage/divorce and moved back to my hometown. About a year later, my friend and I were in his hometown to see a movie at the drive-in and I randomly invited him to attend. We have been inseparable ever since, together for 6 years and married for 1.5 years.

𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: How did you and your significant other meet? I could write a book on this one. The first paragraph satisfies the question. The rest just makes my heart melt remembering how amazing it was to meet him.
What feels like a lifetime ago, I was a single mom working three jobs and 1 of them was "security" for events. I was driving along the race track grounds in my police cruiser at 6:30 A.M. with 30 minutes left in my 12-hour shift when I noticed somebody outside their camper. Nobody is awake at 6:30 A.M. at this event on a Friday morning. I stopped and who walked up to lean on my window except the most handsome, 6'4", gingerbearded early-riser with dimples and more charisma than 1 man should be allowed to have. We talked for half an hour until I was getting repeated calls on my walkie that they needed my cruiser for the next shift.
I called my sister as soon as I got into my car and told her about him and how bummed I was for letting him go. I hadn't gotten his number or anything and there are thousands of people in that event. I probably just met the man of my dreams and now I'd never see him again. I got the news on Sunday that I didn't have to work my shift and could go home. I was planning to work 12 hours into Monday morning and then go into my 7-4 job right after, so this meant I could actually get some sleep between. Instead I found a reason to go back into the campgrounds and try to run into the gorgeous early-riser again "by chance". He was not outside his camper. I walked around that area for half an hour finding reasons to stay nearby. Then, when I was ready to give up, I saw him! He invited me to their campsite to hang out. He gave me his number so I wouldn't have to give him mine, and I messaged him while we were standing there together. We raced on the track and had some bloody mary's and I was entirely swept off my feet for the next three weeks as he heard things I didn't even know I was saying.
The next weekend I was working track security again, and he asked if he could give me something. I said sure, and he left it at the front gates. Somehow he filled a little cooler with all of my favorite snacks to get me through my shifts that weekend: cherries, trail mix, mango loco monsters, baby carrots (to help me stay awake at 3 A.M., beef jerky, and chocolate covered raisins. It's been a few years and I can't remember if there was more in it. We had only talked for a week and I had never listed my favorite snacks. He is the most insightful, intuitive, genuine, disciplined/motivated person I've ever met.
Two weeks in we went on our first date on his friends' boat. We ate at a restaurant where you drive your boat up and then we parked at the sandbar. He twirled me around in the water and we had our first kiss. Life has been a dream since I met him. Now we're married homeowners and about to be a family of 4.
Thanks, @jhysmath! I don't know how I got so lucky. It was hard to keep it "short" because everything has been so amazing. One of my other standout memories was a couple months after we met. We were walking my dog at a county park, and had meandered out onto a dock when it started downpouring. We kissed in the rain instead of running to the car. Last October we said "I do" on the same dock!

I occasionally feel like I might be sick in the morning but never am. I also am still so darn TIRED. I was hoping to get more energy soon but I still feel like I need 9-11 hours to function.

I signed my contract for next year but am still looking for ways out- worst case scenario though, I still have a job and at the end of the day that's enough. Also so happy that my husband gets to come to the anatomy scan on Monday! He hasn't been able to come to my other OB appointments.

I was driving along the race track grounds in my police cruiser at 6:30 A.M. with 30 minutes left in my 12-hour shift when I noticed somebody outside their camper. Nobody is awake at 6:30 A.M. at this event on a Friday morning. I stopped and who walked up to lean on my window except the most handsome, 6'4", gingerbearded early-riser with dimples and more charisma than 1 man should be allowed to have. We talked for half an hour until I was getting repeated calls on my walkie that they needed my cruiser for the next shift.
I called my sister as soon as I got into my car and told her about him and how bummed I was for letting him go. I hadn't gotten his number or anything and there are thousands of people in that event. I probably just met the man of my dreams and now I'd never see him again. I got the news on Sunday that I didn't have to work my shift and could go home. I was planning to work 12 hours into Monday morning and then go into my 7-4 job right after, so this meant I could actually get some sleep between.
Instead I found a reason to go back into the campgrounds and try to run into the gorgeous early-riser again "by chance". He was not outside his camper. I walked around that area for half an hour finding reasons to stay nearby. Then, when I was ready to give up, I saw him! He invited me to their campsite to hang out. He gave me his number so I wouldn't have to give him mine, and I messaged him while we were standing there together. We raced on the track and had some bloody mary's and I was entirely swept off my feet for the next three weeks as he heard things I didn't even know I was saying.
The next weekend I was working track security again, and he asked if he could give me something. I said sure, and he left it at the front gates. Somehow he filled a little cooler with all of my favorite snacks to get me through my shifts that weekend: cherries, trail mix, mango loco monsters, baby carrots (to help me stay awake at 3 A.M., beef jerky, and chocolate covered raisins. It's been a few years and I can't remember if there was more in it. We had only talked for a week and I had never listed my favorite snacks. He is the most insightful, intuitive, genuine, disciplined/motivated person I've ever met.
Two weeks in we went on our first date on his friends' boat. We ate at a restaurant where you drive your boat up and then we parked at the sandbar. He twirled me around in the water and we had our first kiss. Life has been a dream since I met him. Now we're married homeowners and about to be a family of 4.
