Hey all,
I had a scan at 10.5 weeks and the nuchal translucency looked quite thick, the ultrasound results listed a "possible cyctic hygroma." At 12 weeks I had a more in depth scan and the ultrasound "looked perfect" according to the doctor. The QNATAL also came back clear. The doc said that just because they couldn't see anything at the 12 week scan doesn't mean there isn't something amiss. I have an amniocentesis next week to get more answers.
I guess what I'm asking is has anyone had an abnormal nuchal translucency scan and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy/baby? I want to be excited about this pregnancy, but these worries are sucking the joy out and I'm constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Re: Nuchal Translucency Thickness
Actually I think it's 11-14 weeks but if the 12 week and QNATAL looks good then I would think everything should be good. That being said I would be worrying also. There was a thread posted not long ago about NTs vs NIPTs. I would read through that.
