R/R: An unexpected fog day hit me in all the feels today! School is closed because we are practically at 0 visibility still, so super excited to have more me time! Last night was wonderful!

@ejoseph16 Hooray for an unexpected extension of your relaxation time!

Month/Cycle: 8/8 AL

R/R: I had a wonderful long weekend with some girlfriends, but I am struggling to get back in the work groove this morning. Definitely a little tired and cranky. Gearing myself up for the most stressful part of the cycle (haha, makes it sound like I hate sex) and a busy weekend ahead.

@abjm0325 lol my husband and I always say it’s not like just having sex before TTC, it’s sex with purpose, especially when you know you’re in the FW! So there’s more pressure on it. I get it! 😂

R/R: Ugh for cycle day 1 but happy to be starting fresh. I got so sick shortly into my last cycle I didn't temp and wasn't too hopeful. Glad to have a clean slate and to be able to participate in the daily posts again.

CS/Q: I had dental x-rays today and I was questioning weather I should have told them I was TTC (pre knowing I was CD1) and denied them. But, then what, would I just be in a perpetual state of not doing things just in case? What are your thoughts on this?

@ejoseph16 I had to read that a few times; at first I thought you meant a mental fog haha. Glad you have some more time to yourself!

@abjm0325 I totally get it, it is definitely different than just having sex because you feel like it.

@ReadyForaB my dental office won't do them if there's a chance you could be pregnant, so I think it is pretty dependent. For me personally I probably won't get them if we're TTC around my next appointment, unless they saw something that looked worrisome on exam or something. I haven't had any cavities so I'm not that worried about it.

@ReadyForaB I always have a positive outlook on cd1, like ok reset time! I always will tell them I’m TTC and let them determine whether or not we should go ahead with something. In the terms of dental X-ray, it wouldn’t affect anything if you were KU, they’re more concerned the closer you get to your abdominal area.

I live in northwest Ohio, and the fog was horrible this morning. Here’s a picture as it started to lift. For reference, I have a high school literally right behind my house. That’s what the picture is of…

@ejoseph16 That is some crazy fog!
@abjm0325 I'm so glad you had a great weekend with your friends! We've also had the talk about how TTC sex feels more like a job then fun lol.
@ReadyForaB I was just at the dentist the week before last and they did a ton of x-rays and didn't even ask! At that point I knew I wasn't (was still waiting for AF to return) but I thought it weird that they didn't ask, so figure it might not matter to them?
@bbrahmbhatt Ugh, headaches that won't go away are thee worst!

R/R: Today's weather is just so New England. It was raining this morning, and now it's 69 degrees and bright and sunny. Looking forward to enjoying the sunshine when I get out of work! I finished my busy payroll so now I can focus on some smaller projects and getting through the rest of this short week! Need to start making a mental packing list for vacation too. Lots to do!

@ReadyForaB Like some others, I would probably just tell my provider and follow their lead. If it makes you nervous though, I would just not and plan to do it the next time (barring pregnancy, of course).

@tessiesmom26 Yes! During this time of our lives I wish we were just naturally having more sex because then I wouldn’t worry about the timing quite so much. Oh well, c’est la vie!

@tessiesmom26 yes! Mine did not ask either. I googled it franticly after and it seems the consensus is dental x-rays are typically considered safe when pregnant. But I would still have worried I'm sure.
