March symptoms

Re: March symptoms

  • Started my day vomiting water and sending DH for emergency Gatorade. Gatorade helped, but it's definitely a rough day for my tummy. 11w+2d today and thought things were getting better until yesterday when I was sick too. Seems like this baby is going for a last hurrah of first tri

  • @sandy5693 I’m right there with you 🙈 I’m literally taking no prisoners. I’m never normally like this it’s embarrassing but also quiet funny.
  • 10w5days. Just puked up my lunch. I am hoping the tummy troubles subside in the coming weeks!
  • 8w3d and the nausea has been 24/7 not throwing up but any and all food sounds/looks awful- can’t even see it on the tv or phone without getting more nauseous. It’s also keeping me up at night. Also anyone else have the metallic/sour taste in their mouth?
  • @knottie017c2307098dd3e6 I've had the metallic taste since day 1 and it's still driving me crazy!
  • Anyone else struggling with RLS? I don't remember ever having an issue with it until a week or two after finding out we're pregnant. It's driving me crazy, I can't stop moving my legs!!
  • @sandy5693 have you found anything that helps even temporarily? I feel like I’ve tried everything but haven’t found any relief yet.
  • @andoss I really haven’t. It’s been with me nonstop and I’ve tried a ton of things too 😔
  • @bluebird1122 I've had RLS a few times at night so far, and had it pretty bad with my first pregnancy especially as things progressed. SO annoying! Especially when paired with the existing insomnia. I found it came up on the days when I was basically sedentary, so I've been trying to at least get a decent walk in every day. I've heard magnesium citrate (like the Calm drink) can be helpful for RLS, but haven't tried it yet.
  • 11w1d! Mainly I have crazy acne on my face 👎🏻! My nausea has gone away, my energy is better but nothing is helping my breakouts!
  • Weird I've been having the tickle cough too!
  • Almost 12 weeks. Mid-bite sneezing. One heavy sneeze only triggered mid-motion to biting into something.
I had a mid-bite sneeze yesterday and thought of you

I feel loved and seen 😆
  • 10w6d and almost all symptoms (cramping mood swings, food aversions) are all gone. Only left with sore nipples. And sense of smell.  And that comes and goes. So worried I’ve lost this baby too. Ultrasound today to help calm my nerves hopefully. Anyone else? I know I’m lucky that I never had bad symptoms, but I’m so worried.
  • @jiliboo hope your ultrasound can help you feel more relaxed and enjoy the reduction and symptoms! Most of my difficult symptoms are gone now as well...it's so nice. Just left with some RLP, insomnia, increased sense of smell and a larger uterus. The extreme fatigue, food aversions, nausea and depression has lifted substantially. It is completely normal to experience this shift around now.
  • Ughh the insomnia. Why am I awake? And sneezing?
  • 10w 5d here. Just had a shooting pain in my abdomen when I coughed. I have noticed this a couple times in the last few weeks but this was the most intense I've experienced. Is this a thing?
  • @jiliboo sending you some good vibes and hope you got some answers.
  • @plantsdogscats that sounds like round ligament pain, which is normal around now.
  • First pregnancy, 11 weeks, 6 days, nausea stopped about a week ago but just started having cramping in lower abdomen yesterday, and pretty constant again today. Also smelling metal smells. Anyone else experiencing this?
  • 12w1day here and the fatigue and nausea are still kicking my butt. Granted, the nausea didn't kick in until week 8 and the vomiting in week 9, so I feel like my worst symptoms are concentrated at the end of the first trimester. Anyone else in the same boat?
  • @silverholly8 I'm still dealing with some nausea at 13 weeks. It's not as bad as it was, but it was definitely gone by now with DS
  • Update on changes in March symptoms for me, 12 weeks 1 day, I have been having emotional rollercoaster crying meltdown today, dropping things, running into things and can’t pay attention. I couldn’t even tell you why I keep crying. Any advice on how to cope with hormone surges?
  • Tension headaches day after day after day. Ugh! Doctors said that the recommended dosage of Tylenol and caffeine might help but man, these bite!

I also had headaches last week, they got a bit better this week. I did take Tylenol one day.
  • The emotions. They’re basically murdering me. I started today with a breakdown because even second trimester, I don’t have leftover energy to clean and my husband is super super busy. So yeah, that sucked.
I have less control over my emotions. More energy but also more emotions.
  • Probably TMI but does anyone else have a lot of cervical mucus ?
  • @mcclanna I’ve had tension headaches the past 2 days, and it’s been rough. I hadn’t been taking Tylenol but probably will. Caffeine didn’t help.
  • @EmilyE13 I actually felt the same way about Tylenol and specifically made sure to ask my doctor about it. She said it’s perfectly safe as long as you follow the recommended dosage on the bottle. I still want to shy away if possible but it made me feel better.
  • @relizabethp yes  :# definitely a lot of CM around here. I've even started wearing a panty liner as a default, when I remember.

@mcclanna @EmilyE13 I’ve had horrible headaches too. My obgyn recommended I start taking a magnesium supplement which has really seemed to help. I’ve been feeling tons better the past 5 days (started taking it about two weeks ago) so maybe ask your doctor about that? Could be my hormones just shifted and the magnesium did very little, but worth a try.
  • @relizabethp @merostomata same here on the CM, I wish I would have asked at my appointment but I assume she noticed it when she did the exam and would have said something if it wasn’t normal. I don’t remember that from my last pregnancy
  • @mcclanna yeah Tylenol is pretty much the only thing we can take while pregnant. I just usually don’t take stuff if I can help it, but it’s dumb to just suffer through a headache! Has it helped you?

@rin_dancing Ooh good idea. I used to take a magnesium supplement and totally should start again. It also really helps with sleep if you take it at night.
