I'm not sure if Snuggle Bugz is only in Canada but if anyone is considering the UppaBaby, they have the Vista on sale for 15% off today only. It's just one colour, but I heard they rarely go on sale
I had the uppababy cruz with my first baby in 2015 and loved it! Super smooth ride and has a huge basket. The only reason I sold it was because we thought we were only having one kiddo and here we are. I’ll be getting another Cruz for our second along with the UB mesa car seat. The strollers have excellent resale value as well!
@serenity_by_van I got a strong recommendation for the Bumbleride indie from my boss who has the single and double version. We went to the Bumbleride store the other day (I live in San Diego where the company is headquartered) to look at them. Really liked them! Comparable to the uppababy. I think we are going to get the Era or Indie. They are also coming out with a new version soon so I’m hoping the 2021’s go on sale.
Hi ladies! Thanks so much for all of the suggestions and tips. I'm a tad behind on picking out gears. Your suggestions really helped. After doing research online and checking out the various strollers from BuyBuyBaby (thanks @laj0217), we have decided on the Uppababy Vista 2 (thanks @babez_mom and @JRae2015). Just wanted to let you all know how amazingly helpful you are. There are so many things to purchase that it has been a bit overwhelming. Your suggestions have been so helpful. Stroller and car seat down, a million more things to go.
@puppiesandbabies did you get the Mesa car seat also? I did the Vista 2 stroller but not the car seat (yet - strongly leaning towards the Mesa, though). Also, I'm looking in to accessories. What are your thoughts on if we will need the Snug Seat?
@babez_mom Yup! I didn't want to deal with an adapter and the Mesa had really good reviews so we just went with that. I read that the Snug Seat is useful if baby doesn't like to ride in the bassinet or if baby is outgrowing the bassinet but can't quite sit up independently. We're going to try out the bassinet and if it doesn't work out, then we can always grab the Snug Seat later.
@puppiesandbabies Thanks for the info! I think we'll pull the trigger on the Mesa. Just waiting (praying lol) to see if I can find a good way to get it using discounts, points, something haha. I found the Snug Seat new in box on marketplace so I grabbed it. I think I like the idea of baby sitting upright for hopefully lots of fall walks and not always having to use the bassinet!
Does anyone have experience with Maxi Cosi products? The Coral carseat caught my eye - I'm really short and everything carseat-sized is horrendously awkward, so I was trying to prioritize lighter-weight items whenever possible. Their Gia XP stroller looked pretty good, too, but I don't have any direct experience with either.

@babez_mom That's a great find and a great idea to have baby sitting upright. I didn't consider this possibility. I think I might actually want to get the Snug Seat as well - thanks for this perspective! Not sure if you collect points from Indigo, but they have most of the Uppababy lines in stock.
We just got our Nuna Pipa car seat (and have had the Nuna Mixx Next stroller for a couple weeks)… they are BEAUTIFUL together. I feel like a kid playing house- putting stuffed animals in the car seat and practicing moving it from car seat base to stroller 😂
