The thought of having a brand new forever home is so nice!

We are a family of 9 with very hungry teenagers who eat us out of house and home, so groceries get really really EXPENSIVE for us! We spend about $350+ per WEEK right now on groceries! 5 years of free groceries would be a savings of THOUSANDS for us!

As long as the medical care is high quality, I’d be down for free care for life.
  • I would love to take the home, but not moving isn't an option for us. My husband's job potentially moves too much for that.

3- so we can buy whatever house we want
4- because we love to travel
6- because holy freaking money. We would save so much money if we didn't have to buy groceries.
    Hubby and Me
    Friends since 2008
    Started dating: July 1st, 2013
    Engaged: July 1st, 2014
    Married: July 1st, 2016
    R born: July 8th, 2017
    N born: June 30th, 2019
    Baby #3 Due: July 7th, 2022
(maybe I only ovulate in October XD)
  • 1- I’d invest it
6 - having 3 kids soon, I’ll be spending a small fortune, so at least a few years of free groceries would be nice
8- If I didn’t have to pay health insurance premiums (that are likely to only increase over time) I can do something else with that money

1 and 8 because they are smart things to do and 4 because that would be super cool!

    (Too young to make a commitment like 5 or 7 :-) )

  • 1, 4, and 6…. Our mortgage is paid for by my husband's company currently and we live in Canada so most of our healthcare is free anyways.

6 and 8 definitely.  US Healthcare is atrociously expensive and stupidly tied to your employer for a lot of people.

    And then probably 1.
  • 4 - more travel? yes, please
5 - we’re probably never moving out of this house anyway lol
8 - gotta plan for the future!

#4 All the airline tickets! I would seriously use this ALL the time. It’s a dream of mine to be able to take a vacation every month, even if some of them are just for the weekend. I would easily be taking full advantage of this.

That’s really the only one I can fully commit to  :#

$10k would be nice, but is that the best bang for your buck?

Free mortgage for 6 months really isn’t that much money (for us at our current house right now). We’d get more with the $10k.

I already have a pretty good credit score, there’s no need for it to be perfect.

I would absolutely love a brand new house but I don’t know if I could commit to living there for the rest of my life. If I could just never sell it then I would definitely choose this option and rent it out when I wanted to move somewhere else.

Free groceries would be great but we really suck at cooking at home, so free food in general, out at a restaurant, would be better lol. But I could still see us taking advantage of this one.

I have no desire to own a luxury car. Pass.

Unlimited medical care would be amazing, I really hope we get there sometime soon here in the US. But I have really good medical insurance with my work right now. And I don’t see that changing any time soon.

Free mortgage for 6 months (exceeds 10k)
    unlimited airline tickets for life
    free groceries for 5 years
  • 2, 4 & 8

We’re on track to pay off our mortgage in 13 years total, but that means a high payment, so skipping 6 months of payments would be fantastic!

Airline tickets would make life so much easier
    to visit family.

And I live in the US, so even tho I have decent health insurance, it’s still expensive.
  • 3, 4, & 5

DH and I made some stupid decisions as young 19 year olds and having perfect credit that I don’t have to rebuild myself sounds like a dream lol

Airline tickets because would love to travel more and show my kiddos more places

Dream home that we can never move from bc as a younger millennial who as previously stated messed up my credit, owning a home feels like such a distant dream(especially in the current market). I also moved around a LOT as a kid so I love the idea of not having to move ever again lol.
