@laj0217 Last Thursday. Yesterday at my appointment she said they should have been in by then because they've only been taking about 5 calendar days, but she said the holiday probably pushed them back a little bit. So fingers crossed for today or tomorrow!
@whitta1015 5 business days is awesome! We were told 3 days to reach the lab, and then 7-10 business days after that. They checked them in right at 3 days, so I think they’ll follow the 7-10 days 😩 Plus we added a day for Presidents’ Day too.
So exciting you should have them in just a day or two though!!
So every 1-2 months I have a phone visit with the bariatric nutritionist (we had been trying to figure out my weight, since I'm 50 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight from my last pregnancy, and prior to the pregnancy I had been stable at 120-125 for nearly 10 years). My last visit with her was about a week before I found out I was pregnant. I had my visit with her today, and I began the conversation with, "you're probably going to tell me you can't talk to me anymore, because I'm pregnant." (With Kaiser, pretty much as soon as you're pregnant, the bariatric nutrition folk transfer your care to the OB nutritionist, although they will consult as needed). She was so excited for me! We chatted briefly about where I'm at and how I'm doing (my last labs looked really good overall), and she is going to initiate the transfer to OB nutritionist (who I remember from my last pregnancy). She asked if I minded if she prayed for me, which I told her was absolutely fine (I personally am not a believer in anything other than a vague concept of a higher power in a "Mother Nature" sort of sense) - I'll take all the help and good wishes I can get!

NIPT is now scheduled for Tuesday and NT for Thursday. *bites nails*

We haven’t been able to check on Peanut since our first OB appt over 4 weeks ago (7w3) and we have an US tomorrow. We were planning on telling DH family after we saw everything was ok tomorrow. My anxiety was already high thinking through scary “what-if” scenarios. His brother managed to weasel it out of him today and now his wife and daughters also know. Puts a little more pressure and anxiety on me about tomorrow 😅 we had a strong, healthy HB last time but I just wanted that confirmation tomorrow before more people found out.
Not technically February but my appointment is finally Tuesday! Nervous and excited! Except I forgot I have to show up 10 mins early for the first one and planned the time to show up just on time after dropping our son off at school.
He’s in the kindergarten spring play and technically is supposed to have rehearsals Tuesday mornings where I can drop off early so it could work out, but his part hasn’t had to go the past couple weeks. So crossing my fingers he actually has it… otherwise my husband will be dropping off and meeting me slightly later. Oops. 😬
