Re: Nursery Thread!
Thank you guy! Yes, I labeled the closet 😂 My OCD may have gotten a little out of hand, but if I ask DH to get something or put something up he can't say "idk where that is" or "where does that go?" 🤣🤣

Don't feel bad for slacking. We still have months before these babies get here. Granted this is our 3rd, but I have done absolutely NOTHING to set up any space for baby in our house beyond buying a new car so we can fit all 3 carseats.
Last week I went through ALLLL the baby clothes that I’ve acquired or been given, washed, folded, sorted, and put away. (The 0-3 stuff has its own drawer and everything 3-12mo is labeled by size in a tub).
Next week is decluttering our storage closet and garage. Getting closer!!
I am almost done finishing painting our dining room table and 2 end tables for the living room that I started back in like August/September before getting pregnant haha. Once that’s all done I can get into nursery furniture so it’s all related in a sense.
Sand
Bonding primer (like Stix, BIN, or something equally aggressive)
Latex semi-gloss paint (like trim paint)
Then either a polyurethane or wax coating on top, depending on the use of the piece (poly for the coffee corner shelf as it’ll get a lot of wear, probably wax for the dressers and bedroom set)
Also planning on painting our hardwood stair risers and skirting in the same method. I do a lot of painting/staining, just haven’t done high use furniture items before.
